so now all of a sudden democrats( i could be wrong about you being a democrat and if so i will apologize) want to make voter fraud not possible and by extension require ids to vote like Arizona and several other states want to do but when those states try to do it its called racist as its just republicans trying to keep people from voting? does this mean that bolth parties are now gonna be for voter id programs to make sure the dead and illegal immigrants cant get votes?

Didn't Walker just institute "racist" voter ID in Wisconsin, too?

GO WALKER!

It looks like even the Dems have his back!

How about if I just contemplate THAT, instead?

So, any old ideas are bad ideas then?
United we stand is bad, because its 150 years old...
So..thoughts on the older thoughts then? Constitution? Bible?

Not because it's old, but rather because it was nothing more than a prehistoric "sound bite" - one whose philosophy got the US into a really nasty little 4 year dustup, costing hundreds of thousand of lives and destroying an entire country via the invasion thereof.

So you want to see a repeat of that? Sure, then - "stand united" all you please. Don't look for me there. Neither should you expect me to buy the products that are the over-priced fruit of such endeavors, and for God's sake don't be looking under the blotter for my dues payment!

If I remember correctly, you are the one that also refuses to go to a hospital under any circumstance..just fix it yourself or die.
Well, at least your consistent.

Yessir, you recall correctly - that's me.

Whats your view on the socialist desires known as Tort Reform? Are you anarchy for all, or just the little people?

I think if the government is going to extend itself into other folks business so far as to allow tort cases to begin with, it ought to be at least responsible enough to keep them under control, and reject frivolous ones out of hand.

If that's a form of "reform", then so be it.

And then did what?
Created the National Union!

Where everyone had to wear uniforms and everyone was a state worker?

Yeah, that isn't happening here.
One major difference - in Nazi Germany people had lots of jobs.

There is it that element sure which shouldn't ever happen. However I was more referring to the people that voted for Walker...when they realize what they voting anti-union isn't going to save the State at all, the tax dollars will just be used for a different demon. Knee capping workers rights isn't smart, target the corruption and fix it. Fixing the problem doesn't mean handing over power with a big grin on your face. Did we not learn that with the Patriot Act et al?

Wow, nothing like a bunch of sore losers in denial.

Walker gave the people of his State FREE CHOICE as to whether or not to join a Union to keep their jobs. More than half immediately quit the Union's. That means they never wanted to be a member and only joined because they were forced to.

I'm not anti-Union but they have become nothing but organized criminal organizations in my mind who rape taxpayers, destroy businesses (like GM) and instead of representing the wishes of their members, dictate to them.

When the Unions came out against a secret ballot it should have made their members quit in droves. This time the Unions are the bad guys. This Recall should never have happened. Doing a recall simply because they lost an election is nothing but thuggery and proof of how foul the Union leadership has become. Politicians in bed with the Unions are likely the most corrupt in the country. They allowed themselves to be bought and paid for.

Bravo, Gov. Walker. Well done. Deficit gone for your State, a surplus in the bank, unemployment lowered and new jobs created. That is something to be proud of. No amount of spin and lies can change those facts and the people have proven they are wising up.

Who created a national union here?

Corporations are already taking over all the facets of American

Life, soon there will be no opposition, individuals will have to

Accept what corporate collectives decide, no room for negotiation

Or questioning. This just affirms the inevitable - America has been

Bought. After unions are crushed wages will be next, it is a business

Plan.

I have to say, it warmed my cockles watching Ed Schultz and all the other MSNBC apologists in shock and frothing at the mouth. It was priceless. They couldn't believe the result with the hammer hitting them square in the forehead.

They just can't fathom that they are wrong and it's the will of the voters in WI to keep Walker.
Can't wait for the sheep analogies to be forthcoming from them....... "those Wisconsin voters just aren't smart enough to know what's right for them" blah blah blah.

If only Keith Olberman were still on MSNBC, that would have been the cherry on the sundae. Sniff......I miss ya Keith.

Everything will settle down now.

Lets all just keep an eye on the Great State of Wisconsin.

I predict by June 2013 the Wisconsin unemployment rate will fall from 6.7% to 5.8%.

Small businesses will grow the economy.

It's funny that you didn't hear the Democrats whine about how much Obama outspent McCain, now did you?

Does anyone know the $amount that unions really spent on this recall? I'm getting tired of the line of how Barrett got outspent. If I'm a Democrat, which I'm not, I'm mad at the DNC, Obama and the Democratic power brokers for not stepping up the plate with the funds necessary.

Oh, Obama and the DNC will return to Wisconsin in October 2012 to ask for votes.

It should be hilarious.

I'm one of the 36% union households that voted (again) for Walker. I thought that was an interesting figure. I'm so glad that I'm not forced to donate to the democratic party through my former union, SEIU, anymore.

What my co-workers refuse to understand is that Walker did something to save from laying off workers and save some of our retirements. See what happened in CA with public sector retirements?

I can't believe money had anything to do with the vote, people's minds were already made up when the unions made that sickening display, closed down schools, and messed up the capital building last winter. By the way, the unions never "made concessions" with the cost of health insurance, or paying some of their own retirements. That's a union lie.

By the way, did anyone see Larry O'Larry on MSNBC trashing the constitution later after the shock had worn off Tuesday evening?

I don't know where you all have been, but the word "Union" actually translates to "Mafia" in my lingo.

Rather than the Union opposing the corporation as is portrayed, I would have to say that the Unions haven't really opposed the elite ownership in a hundred years.

Instead, I believe the union is a tool used by those elites to control the workers, and regulate their wages etc to something lower than it would be had the union not monopolized the "worker's plight".

So yes, like the Free Market or any other movement towards something better, the Unions were taken over by the establishment and usurped / hijacked. Now they are a joke of what they once were.

We need to take heed of the lessons of Germany I agree. We must not allow our desire for freedom and equality to force us into a collectivist military machine. The outcome of such a development would lead us down the road of destruction.

I was busy with CNN & Fox News last night.

Be sure and listen to the first 30 seconds of the CNN clip

- Republicans doing what they need to do. -

The whole video is actually pretty revealing how Gov. Scott Walker won the election.
