Not for a large military. As I said, my husband is retired military. We have a pitifuly small retirement check every month that is barely enought to pay a mortgage. My husband signed a contract, and in return for fighting for his country, he was supposed to get a few things, one being free healthcare. That is not the case. I would like if the government would quit going to war, and honor the contracts they made to begin with. Not only is the government taking money out for healthcare, here shortly, they will be taking out even more. There is no need to raise defense spending if we quit going to war. Most conservatives I know don't believe retired vets, homeless or otherwise, are hippies looking for a handout, I guess I misunderstand your point.

Oh brother!!!! lol you make me laugh telling me I am in bed with the devil. Here I am telling you exactly what is going on with the Fed and with Soros the billionaire who has already completely trashed two nation's economies and even was convicted in France, and you are telling me I am in bed with the devil because I won't go along with your foolish leftist ideas.

My foolish ideas?

First of all this ENTIRE mess was born of Conservative monetary policy that first destroyed
this economy via the destruction of Glass Steagall.

All the toxic assets that are floating around the globe were born right here in America,
with Conservative free market horse crap. How quickly we forget the destabilizing
event, huh?

Those economies are going down because the right wingers have implemented austerity
and reduced circulation when they should be injecting money back into circulation.

Not for more military spending, even being married to a retired military man, but I reckon Obama can use that after Libya and the whole Iran thing looming ahead...

Romney has already signed off on a war with Iran, go with him and it will come true for sure.

I was thinking Obama was waiting four years to start a war so he could plan it for his second term
that might never come...

Americans are lead by their anger

I dont think it that we dont spend enough, but i have no doubt that what we do spend misappropriated. The amount the house passed was MORE then the DoD said they needed even.

I also find it funny that everyone so concerned with spending here.. Not one person posted about the House bill.

Nice try

Conservatives did not create the Federal Reserve that sets this nations monetary policy

Everyone knows Wilson and the Democratic majority of 1913 created that BS.

Once Romney is in, his spine of glass will give in and the Republicans can end all kinds of
benefits, convert those into tax cuts for billionaires who will invest in China!

As the economy contracts further they will suggest eliminating work standards and minimum
wage... They can shift the military budget, divert funds from the VA to private contractors,
I mean campaign donators.

Yet the conservative are the ones shilling for the bank policies,

You are only half right. Both the Republicans and the Democrats rely on bank policies. Please don't tell me you don't think Obama is riding the support of the big bankers and Establishment Wall Street fund managers. Are you really deceived into believing Obama is for the little people?
This is why it is called the Left/Right Paradigm and why both parties have gone down this path. Every day I see people here saying there is little if any difference between the two parties.
What difference there is, is that the Progressives are running for socialism as fast as their little legs can take them, and Republicans are walking a slower gait. True Constitutional Conservatives are saying, uh wait, can't we do this a different way...and the Progressives are saying no way jose our way or the highway.

The right wing didn't create it, they only removed all the laws that made it work for 70
years
What is even more foolish, is now you guys to the bidding of the companies that
created it in the first place.

So Democrats may have created it 89 years ago, but conservative have perfected it and
turned it into a black art.

You are so confused, you are against the FED, but you shill for the Banks

Who do you think comprises the board of the FED Neo? Gardeners?

This is why you shouldn't vote man, you don't even understand that the
FED which you hate, is run by BANKERS, which you LOVE.

That Government that you HATE is controlled by the Corporations that you LOVE

All Obama did was get us into a more Progressive gype of war, same as Clinton did, where we are supporting leftist insurgents in the guise of helping the people of Libya. This is just prelude to the Bilderbergs plan of war with Iran. They are just not quite ready yet, but looks like rumors of war are being planted. Make no mistake, Obama is every bit a part of the Bilderberg plan as any other.

History proves that Democrats got the version of it they wanted. Both parties had plans on the table. Just check wikipedia for details.
However, I would like to mention that the Fed and the CFR are comprised of members of both parties, so please do not be deceived by the idea that Democrats really love the little people and are helping them live better lives. What they are helping them do is go further and further into debt for the spending policies of the Federal Govt. By using the Fed Reserve as an unlimited spending source, we as taxpayers and US citizens are being made responsible for all the irresponsible policies of a govt gone wild.

I come from a family of business owners, am self-employed, and understand about running a business, I just don't subscribe to your idea of running a business, or an economy, I don't find it logical.

Political affiliation does not cloud anything here. Part of raising the debt ceiling involves the need to keep paying for entitlement programs I do not agree with, hence the anger at raising it and paying high taxes. My Stepfather was at the social security office a few months applying to recieve his social security (not entitlement, because he is at the retirement age, so he is applying for something he paid into), and he told me when he walked in the room, he thought he was in the wrong place because he only saw a few "older folks". So what is wrong with this picture? It is interesting that you are advising me not to be "clouded," after seeing the user name and various comments you have made about republicans/conservatives. I honestly think the whole of congress needs to be thrown out, I don't care what political party they are a part of. I am fiscally conservative, but believe most people should be allowed to think and do whatever they want in their own home. I just don't want to pay for whatever they do.

I'M NOT doing the fear mongering buddy! Yes, I am aware of the plan that's been floated for decades. Has the plan ever changed from party to party and from Prez to Prez? No, I think not.

Actualy yes, war with Iran has almost always been supported by the Right. The same as standing for Isreal has always been a "religous" right issue.
