the jews where offered money to leave/relocate twice I think but they refused to go why did the refuse because Isreal was not part of the package they had the choice they chose the camps. and I have seen evidence to suggest they where treated with respect in the camps
also when people talk of the holocaust I ask which one
Holodomor

It really is quite confusing to watch survivor interviews about the holocaust, as there are some who speak of being treated with respect and having access to all sorts of entertainment to keep them "fresh", like sports, theatre, music, even movies. Then there are those who speak of starvation, how they didn't get any food for days etc, then others recognize that the staff themselves didn't have much food thanks to the lack of supplies in the whole country.

One of the things is especially funny to me, one of the survivors of Auschwitz said in an interview that towards the end of the war the mood in the camps got more and more relaxed, the inmates got more and more freedoms etc, and they played lots of football(soccer to you Americans), sometimes even against the guards and other staff. Now what's funny about this is that the Auschwitz football field was RIGHT NEXT to the gas chambers and apparently nobody noticed that their fellow jews are being herded there in large groups and dead bodies came out.

The news said France would be taking 75% from the rich.

What happens when the rich are gone?

The fallacy that taking money from the rich will make the poor better off just keeps getting repeated over and over again.

Yea, I know, aren't they paying attention?

Personally I don't think democracy has failed. The currency maybe, but not democracy. People still turn out in the millions to vote.

I don't think Democracy is the issue, considering the history of Europe,

edited to say,
I should have said the human race.

Can you provide some cites for any of this? I suspect that you might have confused Auschwitz with the so-called 'model' concentration camp of Theresienstadt, which the Red Cross were told was representative of all the concentration camps. Oh and the gas chambers were not in operation in 1945.

Unfortunatly it cant, Its a semi arid region with large tracts of mountainous terrain. its farming sector is reliant on olive and grape production. It has few natural resources and a scarcity of water.Fishing was a major sustainance for its southern regions and islands, but since the collapse of fish stocks in the med this is no longer the case.
Yes it was at one time a the cradle of european civilization but even at the height of the great civilizations of antiquity the population was less than 1 million. It now has 12 million inhabitants.
Tourism accounts for 16% of Greek GDP and 70% of GDP in some of its peripheral regions.

Ok fair point so lets just all hope and pray that more countries follow the greeks example so the planet can get back to the natural order of things
over populating countries with people who dont give a damn about the country the live in is a bad Idea the sooner countries take a hard stance on imigrants and traitors the better IMHO

Actually... what nazis and socialists have in common is the word "socialist".

So you are one of those that think that the NSDAP is... far right extremist? Wonder why almost everyone sees the nsdap as a right wing party. (btw... this is not criticism towards you, but more of a question that comes to mind - why did history make ppl believe the nsdap was right wing? To demonize the right? - I'm not talking about you sky, most of the world thinks that way... its like ppl were indoctrinated post-45 believing in something thats wrong for a purpose... but I cant figure it out.)

I understand the socialist aspects of Nazism. But these modern day Nazis of Greece and the socialists have quite different agendas and people they blame. But yes, of course there are commonalities. That commonality is:

Collectivism

Exactly. Thing is... how strong can the indoctrination be to the point that you can even make their OWN members believe in something thats false?

Post-45 indoctrination was so strong that even today's nazis believe that they're right-winged (because yes you're right, today's nazis - if you can call them that - are right wing).

Its like completely changing a concept, making people believe that red is blue... and the next generation actually calls blue to a red shirt - it was a perfect and flawless indoctrination since everyone today associates extreme right to nazis.

Its crazy. I just cant figure out whats the objective behind that indoctrination... but damn it was flawlessly orchestrated and 100% successful - plans usually go wrong in one or another detail, but this was perfect.

There have been far greater atrocities in history than they jew episode. Yet we do not hear these other people milking the world for all its worth, even going so far as to have BS words like antisemitic made up for them.

Fascinating. This explains everything's that wrong about the USA at the moment. Words genuinely fail me. "Not the best way to do thing"??? It was mass freaking murder on an industrial scale for Christ's sake! Millions were stripped of their property, their identity as Germans, or Poles or Russians and were then staved to death or stuffed into gas chambers. I find your comment to be horrifying.

It was a time of war. What we are told is mixed with halve truths. Text books written by the US and the Jews is tainted. I too have read interviews by prisoners of the Nazis who have stated they were treated fairly well and even the soldiers who held them were starving and lived in poor conditions. We have ex prisoners of these camps with differing stories of treatment.

I am not condoning it at all....but there are worse things done today. Far worse. And far worse in history. even god from the old testament did far FAR worse....if you believe in god ask yourselves why its ok when he does it but not when his creations do it?

You us the word freaking....pleas use the word correctly instead of stereotypically before correcting me. Plus I am NOT american!!

Oh and btw...

Can we stop making this thread a revisionism thread? Cause it has nothing to do with it...

We're swaying away from the topic at hand. Nobody is discussing if the holocaust was real or not - open a thread for that - this is about Greece and its neo-nazis in the parliament.

Golden Dawn wants to place landmines on the border with Turkey? What if an animal wandered across the border?

Animals...! erm i wouldn't worry to much about animals as they have long disspeared, due to the landmines. The only animals in that region are birds, fish and humans. The first two are not a problem...as for the later...well yeah we humans seem to have an issue with one-another.

Illegals crossing through mine fields.

The photo is not from DMZ NK - SK, but the border that seperates Greece from Turkey and has more landmines than mosquitoes.

As well as the timing between the fall of Sarkozy, the ascension of a Socialist to the French gov't and Putin's return to the Russian presidency, also is NO coincidence. It looks like the shadow gov't wants to resuscitate the Nazi-Socialism back from hell.

Armageddon anyone?

What NAZI party in congress?

ohn Bowles claims to be a representative of the American Nazi Party. On April 10, 2012 he registered as a lobbyist with Congress on behalf of his party. According to his Lobbying Registration Form, specific lobbying issues are political rights and ballot laws.

you people really need to get a grip
I say good on the greeks and watch that space

In my experience, it's a knee-jerk reaction from the majority, and not a single one of these people who are outraged has actually read Mein Kampf. It is a brilliant book.

Ignorant, frightened people banding together against the perceived "other?"

How unusual.

Bullies and psychopaths always rise during turbulent times and reasonable people always take a bit longer to act in opposition because they are ...reasonable.

I doubt Greece will be the center of the fourth Reich... though the thought is almost funny enough to make one concerned... almost.

In order to bring about a new system, you must first dismantle the current system. Everything that is happening right now is not by accident. People will obviously get caught up in the smokescreen and argue amongst themselves over petty differences in the details. All the while oblivious to the bigger picture, which should be their main concern, but never is.
Whilst people are at each others throats about religion, race, political affiliations and so on, a much more terrible event is unfolding behind the scenes. This should be the focus of all people regardless of race, religion or political leanings, as it will effect all people alive today and future generations to come. Yet time and again people focus on the smoke and mirrors, arguing amongst themselves, blaming each other for the predicament they find themselves in. "Its the Jews" "Its the socialists" "Its the immigrants" ...

Have you ever stopped to think just maybe its non of the above? Maybe the above is in place in order to get you looking in the wrong direction? Divert your attention from what's really going on? Have you ever questioned why now? Maybe, just maybe they need your frustration and anger focused elsewhere?

People need to stop and think. All these obstacles in our path are to divert our attention, frustration and anger away from the real cause. If it continues (and I see no reason why it will stop) there will be war. We will kill each other over religion, race and political affiliations. As we have done before, so shall we do again. Those who caused the conflict will sit back and direct the events. When all is complete we will have a New World Order.

World War 1 = The League Of Nations.
World War 2 = The Untied Nations.
World War 3 = _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ .

But the only Imigrants that will be affected by these mines are the Illegal ones the ones who are breaking the law to get there I dont see what the problem is you play with fire you get burned you cross a border that has land mines in front of it you get blown up simples

What's really astonishing to me is the fact that Golden dawns rhetoric during the run up to the election was tolerated by the Greek people. They ran add campaigns on national TV with the catchphrase "lets get rid of the stench" in reference to its immigrant problem.
Also Golden Dawn has tried to distance itself from Nazi ideology but its political hierarchy constantly give Nazi solutes at rally's and its leader Michaloliakos, openly praises Hitler, saying he was one of the greatest political leaders of the 20th century.
Its astonishing given the atrocity's perpetrated on the Greek people by the Nazis in WW2. On the Greek island of Crete alone entire villages of men, women and children were dragged out of their homes and executed in cold blood by German soldiers in retaliation for the fierce resistance that they encountered from the cretian population.

I know the feeling. But hey, at least we are prepared for it. In all likelihood we will survive beyond those who will willingly hand their lives over.

They will be the first to accept Genetic alterations to their kids. They will be the first to accept chips in their bodies. They will be the first to taste the ruin of mankind. Let them. I have learned from our "enemies". Not all are worth saving. Some are better off as a distraction from the rest of us.

Good luck.

We are as one.
