There were no mass executions at that camp. Most of the people died of typhus and starvation as supply lines were cut.

Congratulations, you know a little! Have a cigar! Do you really think that a regime that can jam thousands of people into a camp designed for a tiny fraction of that number and then not provide them with more than a trickle of water purely because of their religion wouldn't have blanched at mass murder in the gas chambers? Hitler saw Jews as being subhuman. They were locked up, starved, shot by the million and gassed by the million. Read up on the Irving libel trial. It makes great entertainment!

Greek has been run by left-wing and right-wing extremists since decades. Thats what ruined the once beautiful country. What both the socialists and the nazis have in common is that they blame others for their situation. The nazis blame immigrants and the socialists blame the rich. The Greek need to stop blaming and start cleaning up their own act. To blame, no pain.

The news said France would be taking 75% from the rich.

What happens when the rich are gone?

Actually... what nazis and socialists have in common is the word "socialist".

So you are one of those that think that the NSDAP is... far right extremist? Wonder why almost everyone sees the nsdap as a right wing party. (btw... this is not criticism towards you, but more of a question that comes to mind - why did history make ppl believe the nsdap was right wing? To demonize the right? - I'm not talking about you sky, most of the world thinks that way... its like ppl were indoctrinated post-45 believing in something thats wrong for a purpose... but I cant figure it out.)

Have you read Mein Kampf Sky?

Empty labels anyway. We could maybe say that the nazis are economically left-wing and socially right-wing. But beware of these ideologue simplifications.

the purity of the Greek race within their own nation

That sounds a lot like Hitlers philosophy to me.

Thanks Darwin.

By purity I obviously mean a nation of Greeks, by Greeks, and for Greeks. All people have a right to a homeland, which is itself clean from what they may define as undesirables. That does not bother me in the least, nor should it anyone else. I dare not be hypocritical about my political choices, what is good for the goose is good for the gander.

Plus, I find it absolutely hilarious you call me “Darwin” when I am a Reactionary Roman Catholic.

How lovely for you. I actually have a degree in History and I've looked into it in some detail, so I can officially tell you that you are about as wrong as it's possible to get.

The Golden Dawn Party is not a National Socialist Party. I have been following them for a while now, hoping they would come out of this election with at least two dozen seats in the Greek Parliament. Golden Dawn is a deeply nationalistic and uniquely Greek Fascist (not National Socialist) political party. There is no reason to fear it, its members, or its rise to power, unless, as the GD leader said, you are a traitor to the nation of Greece. Then, I say to GD ‘do what you so desire with traitors’.

Golden Dawn’s political ideology is the continuation of Ioannis Metaxes, The party, as did his party during the 1930s, believes in a Monarchy, or a transitional phase under the guidance of a Dictator, the purity of the Greek race within their own nation, anti-capitalist/socialist economics which favors corporatism (unity of all industries/trades and classes in society) along with protectionism in trade, and rightfully hates parliamentarianism and communism. I have yet to find any point of disagreement with them, save their often idolization of Adolf Hitler who I dislike for being a mentally unstable populist rather than any type of savior.

They are scum!!!

REAL GREEK PATRIOTS died fighting scum like this in WW2.Go read your history....
In there manifesto they state clearly that they want to round up all ILLEGAL & LEGAL immigrants and put them in concentration camps.
By doing this you will completely destroy your tourist trade of which greece is completly reliant on. If they come to power 100,000s will die and your economy willl be 10 times worse than it is now, you cant feed a nation on the pooceeds of selling Olive oil & soap and cheap wine.

Think for yourself, dont let these brain dead morons do it for you.

Maybee the Greeks are capable of much more than just entertaining tourists, I think history would suggest they are.

France is going to be governed to the brink of ruin just like other European countries that went too far to the left (Greece and Portugal come to mind). The fallacy that taking money from the rich will make the poor better off just keeps getting repeated over and over again.

I understand the socialist aspects of Nazism. But these modern day Nazis of Greece and the socialists have quite different agendas and people they blame. But yes, of course there are commonalities. That commonality is:

Collectivism

I cannot believe that so many (far) right wingers are defending the rise of fascism again.

All I can say is that you are deluded, idiots and an insult to everybody who died fighting against these monsters.

Democracy has failed in Europe, especially after the Eurozone came to be, with all its benefits for the members, mainly the extremely cheap and secure(until the financial crisis) loans. Sure it created prosperity but in countries where there isn't the export industry to back up the loans the balloon just keeps on getting bigger and bigger as the parties try to buy votes by promising more and more, while talking about major cuts is political suicide as long as "everything seems to be fine". Democracy and a shared currency has failed Europe and now there's a backlash, even if (at the moment) a small one. The media always talk about the snowball effect in the markets, but nobody seems to be talking the snowball effect in the political landscape created by the austerity measures.

Personally I don't think democracy has failed. The currency maybe, but not democracy. People still turn out in the millions to vote.
