I was watching the Sean Hannity Show just now, and Herman Cain was on talking about his new book, yadda yadda. Sean asked him if he had confidence in Mitt Romney, and Mr. Cain said interestingly that he had sat down with Mitt Romney last week to talk about republican ideals. Herman Cain is well known for his 9-9-9 plan and he said that Romney listened intently to his ideas, as all Presidents or about to be Presidents and leaders should.

What came next was even more interesting to me. I have been saying this ever since the primaries began that each of the Republican candidates brought great ideas to the table and that each of them, should have some role in re structuring and "healing" as Herman Cain put it, the government which was destroyed by Barack Obama and the left. He said, that Romney plans to hold a forum or a council meeting with the other candidates to make sure that all branches of Republican ideology can be heard and implemented nationwide.

This proves to me. That Mitt Romney is the man to vote for and until other candidates do this, namely Ron Paul and even Obama, than I see no reason to vote for them, no matter how great their message may be. They need to be open minded to other ideas, something that Romney, is attacked for constantly on both sides of the political spectrum!

Romney will be a very refreshing President.

I have no source for this as of the moment. Hopefully it will be fox's video webpage tomorrow.

Sounds to me like you watch too much Fox news!!

Turn off your tv when there is still hope!

Mitt Romney is a political troll. He flops on every issue you can think off, except with a few where he always picks the rich people's side... Anyway, point is, Romney knows he has no chance vs Obama (or Paul for that matter) and is desperate to try to please people. Looks like he succeeded with you...

OK, I see you have no intention of discussing this information. Nice chatting with you...

I can't that the OP would be so naive to believe anything Mitt Romney ever says.

Not to mention that Romney and Obama are extremely alike in actions/policies. Both corporatist authoritarians.

Unity isn't really a good thing when a party has clearly established bad guys and clearly genuine decent people. If Mittens said that we need to unite Democrats and Republicans into one big super party, would that make him even more "electable"?

The guy is style-over-substance and is only getting by because he looks like a typical movie president.

Strike one, Hannity, Strike two Cain and 9-9-9, Strike 3 Fox News. Really this is what you are bringing to ATS, Romney is the answer to no one's problems.

Ok fine, let us discuss this then. You really believe that Mitt Romney has a chance vs. Obama? By himself, do you really think he can do it? I do not think this is a call for world peace and understanding, this is not a wish for everyone to hold hands and defeat a common foe, it is a political stunt.

Phew, I was starting to worry, i thought Mittens whole campaign was a figment of my imagination. But alas, im wrong, he actually has one un-paid supporter...you.

just kidding. seriously though.. why do you support mittens, I can understand why people like him, he sounds good, people THINK hes an accomplished business leader, people think because hes rich hes good with money and will spread it around like *SNIP*

But really, hes a greedy selfish entrepreneur. A greedy selfish entrepreneur is one who creates or leads a business, not to actually build a flourishing business and a legacy, but to profit from it while ignoring ethics and compassion for the people he leads, and care not about the destruction and devistation they leave in their wake.

A true leader cares about the people they lead, a successfull business owner has people behind him who can say they were gainfully employed by that person at a great company. Mitt doesnt have that.

Just my two cents, im probably wrong. =P

I imagine this is the truth... well mostly, I think he will try and support all republican values except one canidate.. the only canidate that has actual different views on subjects.. most other republicans have the same voting record.

You mean Romney would actually consider ending the War on Drugs, ending the Fed, dismantling Homeland Security and closing our foreign military bases?

When he starts talking like that, I'll listen. Until then, he's just a shady used car salesman.

Dude.. no seriously as the poster below your OP said TURN OFF THE FOX!

No Romney, he will destroy America like he destroyed so many businesses.
We WANT the republican party AND the democratic party to fall to pieces. This is the revolution this is what we are working for. No more two party system. Is no one, but me paying attention to the beautiful things that are happening?

I wish more people would learn to think for themselves.

Too many people just believe what they are told. It's partly due to the fact the same info is repeated over and over but still, come on people, WAKE UP!

Ron Paul supporters are smart enough to put the politicians on mute, and not look at the t-shirt labels they wear ('R" or 'D') and base there opinions on the candidates background and history.

Romney has done what no socialist Democrat has been able to do including Obama. Romney actually implemented OBAMACARE.

The game is not about Democrat versus Republican individuas its about (Lobbyist + GOP + DNC) vs (tax payers). Lobbyist are picking the candidates for you (obama/romney) because they own them.

As long as its an Obama/Romney ticket they will win. That is why the GOP is willing to lose the election. Romney has no chance to beat Obama just in the fact that Ron Paul voters won't support him. The GOP can't lose its base voters (which includes Ron Paul supporters) and win against Obama. Yet the GOP is willing to select the highest risk candidate (Romney) to go against Obama.

I have yet to find a GOP sheeple who wouldn't support Ron Paul if the GOP selects him. However, Just about every Ron Paul supporter wouldn't vote for Romney or Obama and that is no secret. Therefore since the GOP is aware of this and they are still choosing to risk the election by picking the highest risk candidate, it will be there own fault why Obama wins re-election.

Don't come back here crying that Obama won because Ron Paul supporters wouldn't back him. Its the GOP fault and individual Republicans fault for not going with the lowest risk candidate Ron Paul.

This is what is known as "lip service".

Obama did the same thing in 2008 with his message of bringing people together. Just because Romney said it, does not make it so.

That being said, I can understand why people would take Romney at face value. After all it's not like he has ever said one thing then changed his mind... oh wait.. nevermind
