1/2 a BILLION dollar Lottery...What would you do with the money?

i would buy 400 million dollars of stock at a low cost. My purchase would boom the price of that stock, and I would immediately sell.. Doubling my money. I would then try and purchase the winner of the 2012 presidential election. I hear its not that hard to vote for the winner that way. And thats all I want, is to vote for the one whos going to win.

I wouldnt play around with half a billion... I would stick to most earthen objects of luxury - if I want to risk my money, I would place it on the fireplace, light it up and bet with a friend that money doesnt burn. Its far more safer than going to stock these days, and if I lose NO ONE gets it - specially not those vampires from the stocks...

I would use it to "Save the world" and make it such a better place to live. I would give to all the big charitable causes and use it to do my best to save, help and enhance the environment.

Nah that is BS! I would be selfish and spend it on myself, family and good friends and do my best to make sure they never have to work again. Pretty selfish I know just looking out for myself and important people in my life. But that is life.

I would definately request the cash option as you never know when you are gonna leave this earth, so might as well live in the moment.

As far as what I would do with the money.

1. I would locate and gather as many expert scientists from universities and other venues from around the world and would fund research into the colonization of space. I would use the initial funds to create an international organization encouraging world governments to assist in our endeavors and create a charity to hopefully keep and grow the company.

2. I would also create an organization for the re-intigration of homeless back into society. Following the formula above, but on a national level and finding doctors and counselors willing to get the company off the ground. Interns and maybe get military doctors and proffessionals involved. Pretty much buy lots of land off a major highway that is not currently used, create a community and go find and bus willing homeless people in to get medical and mental treatment, housing, food, clothing and eventually expand the community into a town that would create and suppy jobs for the ones that wanted to stay.

There are many things I would want to achieve in this money orientated world. But first, before anything I would need to do this.

I have bought my tickets already!! If I win Im going to buy a mansion in the central west end in st.louis MO. That is where I am from. I will give money to St.Judes children cancer center. I will give money to my mom,step dad, brother and sister. I will travel the world. I would want to invest my money in something. But, it is also scary to win that much because, it is the biggest jackpot and every one will be trying to get my money, and will beg for stuff. Oh I also might move to the OC and try to be on the real house wives of the OC hell yeah!!! also I would get a pink benz that says tropickandie on it! how hot is that!!

Give a lot of it to charity.

Create a brand new computer game company and get the rights to some of my favorite games and make real computer games out of them.

Invest in some of my favorite things, such as Pepsi.

See the world.

Build an actual Ark of the Covenant and Noah's Ark for science. I'd love to see if such a ship would actually float and what it would take to hold all the animals mentioned in the Bible for forty days. I'd love to see if the Ark Of The Covenant is a powerful artifact like legends say.

Make a whole new television series based on some of my favorite games.

Create two whole new channels, one for art, the other an all purpose channel for true science, and history, without all that reality show crap.

And most importantly, LIVE LIFE!

Do you know what would be fun to do? Build a massive rocket ship....place all world leaders on board, including NATO and give them a one way ride into space!!!

You know how, after you think about something, you see it in a different light.

Well, I have given this some thought and I think I have found something better to do with that much money.

First, I would pay off my bosses home mortgage.

Next, I would buy the plant where I work.

Then, I would let my "former boss" know if he didn't actually work a lot harder, I would fire him and foreclose on his house.

Just the prospects of this make me want to buy a ticket.

I see how the thought of being rich has already started to corrupt people

I am glad that you guys wouldn't actually do it.
