Anyone who believes we are in control of anything, even our own experiences, is naive.

The lack of control is all in your head

I've seen what is behind the curtain.

We are puppets. All of us.

I would give up every single one of you,
to have the planet ALL for myself.

Ah, what a wonderful place it would be,
mankind would finally have peace.

Howdy peeps,

The question presented is:

"What would you give up to have Everything?"

While it may sound contradictory, it isn't and the reason why is because what you give up isn't what you end up with.

So what are you willing to give up to have Everything and what dew you consider to be Everything in that statement?

Ribbit

Everything.

I think of that word, and I think of Nothing.

If I had Everything, life would be boring. There would be no mystery, there would be no surprises, there would be no passion, there would be no comedy, there would be no tragedy, there would be no peace, there would be no love, there would be nothing to experience.

So, I would never make the trade.

I will keep my small amounts of Something and wait until I exist out of linear time to understand Everything.
What nonsense. If you had everything you can also give everything away. If you have nothing that is also your option.

It makes perfect sense to me. Your nonsense is my perfect sense.

I have Something, not Nothing, not Everything. So Something is the option I choose.

I do not choose extremes, they make me feel like I am smothering.

No one can have anything. You can think you own a car for example but it does not belong to you. When the car get´s old and isn´t working properly anymore you'll buy a new one. When it get's stolen you've lost it. When you get a car accident and the car is extremely broken you´ll dump the car. When you die to who belongs the car now?

You are only temporary in touch with things/objects. Hell, even your body doesn't belong to you. And even if you can have everything, what's the point?

By everything, I assume you mean everything materialistic in this life.

The only thing I want is to ascend to a higher plane of existence. An eternity of light.

And that's all I want.

You can keep "everything," because "everything" is only temporary.

Never build something permanent in a temporary place.

"What would you give up to have everything?"

To have everything you can't give away anything, or you would not have "everything"!

"One's philosophy is not best expressed in words; it is expressed in the choices one makes... and the choices we make are ultimately our responsibility".

Then there's ...
If you always do you you always did, then you'll always get what you always got

For me, I'm not giving up anything for a re-try...that's ridiculous IMO.

We already have everything, in my opinion!
But for some reason we are supressed, and limited to what our true potentials are! I would love to give up those who are in total control of us at the moment, that would be so nice, im sure we as people could figure things out ourselves :p

I cant wait for change

Peace and love people!! And dont forget we are all one
Have an amazing weekend loves.

I will suffer every immeassurable pain just to keep what I have, and to know that my sufferring has not been in vain. Unfortunately, I will suffer it never knowing. What is it that is so important to me? Those I love and the here-after.

I suppose you would have to define what exactly "everything" entails.

Its a tough, very heart breaking for all involved to find out your time left on this planet is limited to a matter of weeks. But with that being said, I would gladly give up everything I currently possess, my 2.2 million dollar home, my many automobiles, my stamp collections, my art collection, and most certainly....my life. All of this I would gladly do in a heart beat if I knew there was some guarantee that my children, my grandchildren, and my unborn great grandchildren would be taken care of. Given the shelter, arms, food supplies, and whatever else they would require to survive the oncoming civil unrest and breakdown of govt as we know it.

People who are more materialistic get stuck by a question like this. How can I give up anything to get everything?

Makes no sense.

Giving up yourself to find yourself is one way of looking at it.

Hmmm. So what we give up we will not get back?

Simple. I would give up my slavery to this world.
