I'm fairly sure Rush is talking about his total listeners throughout a week or a month. Arbitron only tells the number of listeners at any given point in time. Example: Last Tuesday from 12 noon till 4 pm.

I don't think you really know how ratings work in radio. Here's a video discussing exactly that...both guys had radio shows for years!

Nowhere does Rush claim that Sandra, or anyone else, is a slut or prostitute for "using contraceptives".

Rush Limpnuts called her a slut and a prostitute, because Limpnuts does not want to pay taxes for contraceptives for poor women. He would much rather pay taxes to support poor women's abortions and adoptions and food stamps, which would result from cutting off access to birth control for poor women.
I, on the other hand, like to call Rush Limpnuts a slut and a prostitute, purely because it is fun to do so. And since he started calling people names first, I feel absolutely free to respond in kind.

Those are Rush words, NOT REALITY. I take it you never bothered to actually find out what she was there to say and did say? If so, you would know that Rush pretty much fabricated an entire event out of thin air and that is what you just quoted...his made up version of events. Did you realize you did that?

She never said that though. She never once said that. Rush changed her testimony about birth control in his own mind to mean she says she must be paid to have sex. She never said that. So again I ask, what was she actually called a slut for since she never said what you claim?

She said she wants BC covered for various reasons including non-birth related. Rush then said she is a slut and a prostitute because of....what? Things that he made up, right or wrong?

all I have to say is that if people don't get out of women's healthcare issues soon, they may find me quitting my job and becomming an activist organizing women....and, well, hoping that we can organize enough to give the loons what they seem to want....ABSTINANCE!!! Most people don't have the means to shop around for insurance companies. Instead they are restricted to the health insurance they receive from work or school. In many cases these policies don't cover birth control. That's what this whole argument is about. Are you saying people should change their jobs or schools just so they can have access to medical treatment that should be available to all women?

You can get birth control at Planned Parenthood. Just call and seek the truth.

Which she never said in the first place. He simply implied that because she (correctly) figures contraceptives should be covered. Not only does it prevent people from having unwanted pregnancies, save MASSIVE amounts of costs to tax payers because those unwanted babies don't get born, but it also saves insurance companies money because contraceptives are cheaper than pregnancy and child health care...which will help to keep premiums lower if insurance companies pass on those savings.

In short: It saves taxpayers and insurance premium payers money...and she never said she wants to get paid to have sex. Rush equals the use of contraceptives with being a slut, and given that the majority of women in the US use contraceptives, he called them sluts at the same time!
