Again a plethora of good tunes, which all hit the right chords with me. I was trying to hunt a song of Jessie Colin Young's the other night, and couldn't think of the title. Happy to see you posted two great ones.

Thought you might enjoy this version of beast of burden. Its cute, Bette and Mick

.I love Bette, but again can't seem to find the songs I'm looking for. She is such a talent, and an old school Diva.

I "m not sure what she is up to, but she was selling many of her costumes, and memorabilia awhile back, and I don't think it was for money, but more for the reasons of of not burdening her daughter with tons of her showbiz memorabilia.

Did a search and couldn't find much on what she is up to, maybe I didn't search well enough. There is a great interview with her on the Actors Studio, but I didn't watch it till right to the end. What I did watch was great , she is such a brilliant personality.

She has done a lot of community work in new York with "green projects", such as saving a neighborhood public garden, cleaning up parks, planting many trees, and generally cleaning up neighborhoods. She paid a staff of six to help her with these projects.

Shout out to Bette. Wherever you are Divine Miss M , we miss you, and there must be another movie, or song in you to share with this world.

A toast to the Divine Miss M and one of her greatest hits, that inspired a movie, and won her a few of the many awards she has won over the years.
