Why are Republicans so concerned about what goes on in my bedroom?

I am going to offer a sincere apology for my original post. I was/am angry that Santorum did so well in Iowa, I believe the man to be a complete moron. I am not particularly happy with President Obama, however the republicans are not offering me a better option. Looking at the current field, I have a choice between Rich White Guys and Religious Whack Jobs. Somebody tell me there is something coming along that I can truly vote for, or to be honest, I am giving Obama four more years.

I am not so much worried about the ban as the hypocracy of it.

Hypocracy is rife in our society.
Just look at any politician.

You feel the need to point out hypocracy, then great. But don't cherry-pick. To just isolate republicans appears partisan in nature and the "hypocracy" label (caveat) might fit on you as well.

beezer you are always a great debat partner, and no I don't try to cherry pick, I know the dems do it as well. Really am not trying to be partisan, just trying to join the conversation. You and I both know that the answers lie in the middle.

My issue is and has been the social engineering being deliberately foisted upon us by the radicals. It really is such a simple thing if anyone really wants to be honest about it that it has been a deliberate agenda for the purpose of subverting society. I have posted many times the lectures of an ex KGB agent who exposed this deliberate means of the communists encroaching on us to achieve their goals. I'm sorry it's not a popular subject when so many individuals feel it is just a matter of rights, but therein lies the diabolical nature that the goal of communism is cloaked in a so-called defense of rights. The State really sacrifices individual rights and liberties for the good of the common, but they also take advantage of a free society in promoting any and all illicit ideas and practices. They just keep pushing the line. The man-boy love thing is a perfect example of pushing the line of rights till it comes down to perverting the child instead of upholding their purity and dignity. It's a clear example of exploiting the child for selfish ends.

your constant reference to the supposed sneakiness of Communists and the similarities between Communists and Democrats make you sound like a McCarthyite mentalist

yah see if I care what you label me. It's a simple fact that communism did not die, it just went underground and when a certain person got into the WH it was as though he flipped a switch and all the Sleepers woke up. You know it and I know it, and so do a lot of other people now awake.

Surely you are not going to deny that Van Jones had to resign due to his self-avowed Communist status being exposed.

Some folks are convinced with good historical foundation . . .

that . . . rampant sexual acting out

. . . when joined in by a large proportion of a culture

precedes utter collapse of that culture.

Some believe that the global oligarchy has encouraged such just to help bring about the collapse of the old order to make setting up the new order all that much easier on the ashes of the old.

THEN, they will purportedly tighten up tyrannically and much more strictly than any Christian org on the sexual lives of the serfs and slaves.

(Mods and Admins, Sorry for the off topic deal but it's something I just thought of and had to share it!, D1!)

Anyone happen to notice how eerily similar that Santorum and Sanitarium sound? Coincidence? Like how Herman Cain's "9-9-9" plan is simply "666" flipped upside down?

To add as I forgot to do so earlier :

As it can and shall be intended to keep up with the times with matters of technology, business, civil advancements that it is to evolve to keep up with the times that the nation happens to be living in any given particular point in time as today's doc must still remain in force in modern America and all new tech not developed or conceived at the time of it's inception must be included, Hence why it never specifically declared slavery to be the law of the land as they had enough knowledge and foresight to know that we'd eventually outgrow it and grow tired of it also women's rights and today's LBGTI movement and it wasn't that it was against the law as it wasn't it was to have cheap immigrant labour,(sound familiar? Yesterday's African Americans are today's Hispanics!).

Is the internet against The Constitution, certainly not and access to the internet is already covered under the 1st "Right to Assembly" "Right to expression"! Is say, buying a new pair of socks? No. Choosing what medical provider to hire to provide you and your family with care? No! Freedom of choice and selection which is a fundamental cornerstone and foundation that is The United States Of America, to have literately 100 companies make the same old boring thing! Selection, diverse selection not only domestic but international selection to cater to those Americans. The overall landscape and face of our most awesome and beautiful nation has changed as the America of today looks totally different then The USA of 1789 and today's America will look nothing like the America of say, 2300 and well beyond that!

Ask yourself before backing any laws is would you subject your mother to it?

Besides, how do they in fact actually propose to actually monitor what actually transpires in your bedroom? Mandate that nanny cams be placed in things like tv's, lamps, overhead lights, cell phone/smartphone/tablet/laptop, cameraphone, camcorder, digital cam, mp3/cd/dvd player? clock radios? reader glasses with the lights? remote controls? How exactly do they plan to implement the surveillance infrastructure? Suspicious "Random spot cheque fake arse chemical leak radiation threat mandatory evacuation" and they could hurdle us to stadiums for a day or two while they wire each and every one our houses to be audio video enabled and release us "when the threat is over'? Offering immunity from prosecution of participation in the act for turning in a perp? Like get a wife or shall we say, "victim" to dime out her husband, "the perp and creep"? Someone's gonna leak something as you can't contain an operation that magnitude!

How exactly do they plan on locking this down and pulling it off? If they dared attempt to bring up a hogwash crappola like this to any court room of legislative chamber the sponsor would be ridiculed for the rest of their tenure and be forced into retirement due to the shame, ridicule and backlash the idiot would surely get. Every group and I do mean EVERY GROUP, POLITICAL FAITH, CIVIL RIGHTS, COLLECTOR GROUPS would make dude hang his head in shame for the rest of his days and have laws passed to prevent the very thing he attempted to do from happening ever again! For some odd reason I think in the event someone did try a braindead move like this that someone would take a shot at them and the Court Of Public Opinion would actually favour and back the assailant and dude would probably walk!

Just let them try to introduce some yipyap like that and watch them have a beast like The Occupy Movement team up with every other group out there and shut down a city for a month until they relented! I don' t think that there's a jury or a judge for that matter that will convict the assailant! It's exactly like and is a literate "Get out of Jail Free" card that you see in the game Monopoly!

All of my Family are conservative or republican to varying extents however most of us agree that the party should just drop the gay issues. They arguments against it are flimsy at best and downright stupid at worst. Like I'm to believe that Christians some how own the word marriage. If we go by that logic then atheist can't marry, which would prolly be the next step for the f antics if they had their way.

Oh and the whole banning sexual acts between two consenting adults. Not only is the law ridiculous its impossible to enforce.

Anyways I predict it won't even be an issues in 15 years give or take. I say in about 15 years the gays can get married and cannabis will be legal. Just throwing that out their because those two things can no longer be ignored by the lawmakers for long, its no longer taboo in America. Both have created a sub-culture with in themselves. And with the Internet age?

The times are always changing and hopefully for the better.

DADT is about the military not the bedroom. It's for a reason, that being the distraction that can cause us to lose wars.

Nice try, but that's the same argument that was trotted out when the US Army was desegregated. The armed forces got over it. Personally speaking if I'm in a foxhole being shot at, I'm not going to wonder if the man next to me is gay, I'm going to wonder how good a shot he is!

I don't understand all this talk of 'communism' and 'socialism' in this country when it it is obvious to any third-party independent observer that the US is in no way moving towards Social Democracy, let alone a collectivist or communist society. I think the mere fact that there is such a knee-jerk reaction and use of the word 'communism' provides telling insight into the mindset of most folks here.

I think it comes from a fundamental ignorance of what Communism really is. Plus intellectual laziness.

Paragraph 1 and 2 deals with how The Constitution is a living breathing document and how new tech advancements are automatically grandfathered in.

3 -5 deals with how exactly do they plan to monitor what goes on in someone's bedroom!

Point is that they can concoct any plan they want but the likelyhood of it ever going to debate is nill at best!

I am independent, and I know this drives some folks crazy, but I believe the answers lie in the middle. People with long responses to politics are insane with passion for one particular issue. I would much rather see a 2 line response from someone responding with a belief, whether we agree or not, if provides room for conversation. If you want to post an essay, please find somewhere else to post it.

I should have responded to this before, outside of you planning on blowing up something, I have no interest in what is going on in your garage. If it is a really awesome muscle car or an orgy I might be interested. If you are cooking meth, at some point you are going to blow yourself up, if you are growing weed, when can I get an invite?
