Well the ones I was really looking at were on 3/3/12.

As were the ones I looked at for you. 2012.063 is the 3rd March.

I only put the 1st March one up for interest as it did show an earthquake whereas the 3rd March did not.

It may help for future enquiries if you could state an approximate time of day and the time zone. I try, but don't always remember, to put times and even dates in the right time zone, thus you could say 3pm CST on 03/04/2012 which I will then know is as far as I am concerned 9pm UTC (until the 11th March) of 04 March 2012.

Until the end of March I am fortunate to run on UTC when they then go and spoil it all by fiddling with the time quite unnecessarily thus between 11 Mar and 31 Mar you are 5 hours behind us but after that you go back to being 6 hours behind us and 5 behind UTC. 1 hour ahead of UTC for us.

We are all fairly insular when it comes to time, especially the Brits as we only have one time zone, but the Americans should be more used to it.

I always TRY to remember to specify as it can be very confusing. This even more so when someone just states a town name! How the heck am I supposed to know where a town in America is? There was a mention of a possible quake in Omaha yesterday on a thread. I have no idea where that is (well I know it is Nebraska now but still not where and where the heck is Nebraska?). I had to go and find it on Time and Date.com before I even knew which time zone we were talking about.

Of course I do know from looking at maps of the US that Alaska is just off the coast of Mexico with Hawaii right beside it.

Both Argentina and Indonesia are greens on the PAGER alerts so there should be little or no problems one hopes.

I was not sure which one you meant.

Argentina, because that one was reported first without any felt reports.

On the subject of trains there just happens to be a post on the PNSN Blog that shows trains on a seismo, and guess what? They look just like the ones I identified as trains. Result

Now USGS has 2.9 before the 4.0

4.0 2012/03/05 13:33:20 37.929 -122.303 9.2 SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CALIFORNIA
2.9 2012/03/05 13:33:13 37.934 -122.301 8.8 SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CALIFORNIA

Yes, I felt both of those. First one I thought was the cat. Second one was the bang n shaker and I heard stuff falling off shelves. No damage tho. Local news says over 9,000 people in over 240 zip codes felt it.

This was right in the area of the air convergence two days ago.

check it out. Methinks our quake predictor was right.

Heard back from my friend who is an engineer in the oil industry...it's not fraking...nothing in the geology of that area to be extracted...so as he says "this time it's mother nature"...
Oh heck...it would have been easier to blame it on fraking!

Dang it....I always miss the action!

Hope and pray there is nothing more in the area that will surpass the shaking you felt earlier.

So...did you and PM ever figure out the twitter dude? COULD he really be onto something or was this a wild guess/coincidence?
