Better education? You don't need any education whatsoever to know that if your poor having 15 children is a horrible idea. I'm actually more upset that people like you try to defend this woman than the actual woman having 15 kids.

Iam not defending her at all, I said what she has done is wrong but we have to look at the reason why she has had 15 kid's and a big part of it is that she is ill-educated, someone along the line failed her be it her parents,school her state.

Ill-educated is the biggest excuse. Here's some education for her, she screwed once without a condom and had a kid. Obviously that woman was poor from the start and even after 14 lessons still couldn't get it. She NEEDS to be sterilized, frankly she just shouldn't exist. I'm in favor of sterilizing handicap people as well, guess I'm a hitler sympathizer in your mind.........o well.

If a homeless woman is having 15 kids, she is clearly not right n the head and should be in a mental care home. I love the way most of you want to forcefully sterilise a person instead of caring for them.

Money may be tight and tempers may be short fused at the moment, but there is no excuse for turning on those that need help, instead of the #ing fat cats, bankers etc..

You need to take a reality check - so you do!

It's true and sad. Because children from educated parents have in theory more chances of making good human beings. And since they make less kids then uneducated ones that means that we need to put a line somewhere to not be eventually overrun by indecent humans beings everywhere.

No Iam not saying send her to higher education I think it's to late for that but you have to ask why has she had so many kid's, it's lack of education and also poverty (If she had a better education she would not be so poor) Yes she is going to cost the american tax payer alot of money but it's already done we can't turn back time to change the situation. .
I don't have the answer's to do with what she does now or the state she live's in or if her kid's should be taken away and put into care, it's not my job and I don't know anything about her.
But it is the system that has failed it has done nothing for her and the system will pay out those welfare checks.
We have the same problem in the UK with young girls having a child at 16 because they know they will get a council house and money every week. But in our schools we have sex education and in those classes they tell the young girls it doesn't have to be that way and they can goto college get a education which hopefully leads them into work.
Sometimes I think some of you just say stuff for effect to get a rise out folk

The children are what is important here -
they should be taken from her because
she obviously can't take care of them.
The woman should then be put into special

Of course I agree with the majority of you who say that she should be responsible for herself and her children, and shouldn't be having this many kids, etc...However, I think somebody SHOULD take care of the children, because obviously she is not able to.

Just because she is extremely promiscuous, putting it lightly, doesn't mean the children should suffer. This vicious cycle, of children remaining in these types of situations, is a big part of why things continue to decline instead of improve.

Something I would like to ask you guys is this: Should the government be able to tell a woman that she cannot have any more children, or force her to get her tubes tied? My main concern is when does it stop being "the right thing to do," and starts becoming "socialism?"

It is a tough question if you ask me, and it is philosophical, yet has practical application in the lives of some US citizens...Or any other government that would implement some type of system like this. But this woman thinking she isn't responsible for her own "mistakes" make me sick. I wouldn't usually say that having children is a mistake, but when you cannot or are not willing to take care of them, it is a mistake in my view.

I'm going to play devil's advocate here.....

Are you all aware approx 70% of all foster children end up being put on medication? I can't remember how many are sexually molested, even everely abuse or killed in fostercare. The system itself stinks to high hell.

All 15 children were fathered between 3 and the last one fathered 10 of the children. I bet his child support is a pittance and it's clear none of the fathers have anything if at all to do with the children. They too need to take equal responsibility. It's obvious to me none of them even want to take custody of their kids.

No matter how much you wantto judge the mother, it appears to me these kids look like nice lovely kids.

These children should be returned to the mother, all of them.

This woman should be given suitable acommodation to house all 12 kids and their mother. I have no doubt there is another side to the story the authorities are not telling and I know how welfare works in the USA. Sometimes the "help" offered is usually enforced upon by a bunch of idiots. Thats not help, thats inflaming the suituation. No judge has a legal right to ask a woman if she's pregnant or not, then sends the mother to jail for not answering her? That tells me alot. The woman did'nt commit a criminal offence for pete's sake!

Yes yes the mother can be verbally abusive to other adults, I'm not condoning that, but the woman and her 12 kids are homeless, that in itself would be highly stressful in itself.

Should the state pay for these 12 kids? You're more worried about your taxes funding this woman than the corruption going on in the White House, financial institutions and Wall Street that are causing far more damage to the American people and the loss of lives both nationally and internationally than what a single mother of 12 kids could if do to you!

The damage is done, there are 12 kids and this mother only wants help with the basic necessities.....not a bunch of bozo telling her how to run her own life or her family. There are kids out there getting smashed around and dying every day at the hands of their parents; this mother is not one of them.

This is an astonishing example of the entitlement mentality that many Americans have now. There is zero personal responsibility for one's actions, it's all someone else's fault. You can actually hear the anger and rage in her voice over this "someone" that apparently forced her to have sex and babies over and over again, and forced her not to work, and forced her boyfriend to commit a crime and go to jail. And it's time for that someone to be held accountable and to PAY! Wow. It is stuff like this that will bring our country down, because does anyone here think that any of her 15 kids will ever amount to anything? No, there will be 15 more leeches crying about how someone needs to pay for their bad decisions. And on and on it goes until the people that actually are paying for them (but don't even know them) finally collapse under the burden.

A mother of 12 children can bring down your nation? The Americans have been doing a mighty fine job of that long before these kids were brought in to the world.

It's not important now what blurts out of the mother's mouth, you can't forgive this woman but you forgive what your Federal Govt is doing murdering families and small children overseas?

It takes two people to bring a child in to this world, it takes a COMMUNITY of people to raise them. Do you know what that means? It does'nt mean fostercare, a system that in the end is going to destroy these children for the rest of their lives.

Go back, ALL OF YOU, and look at the video again.. Do you see 12 nice looking kids? Two years in fostercare and you'll see completely different faces drugged up, abused and going from home to home until they reach 18. Then what?

The kids have a better chance staying with their mother and growing up to be pillars of their society. I would'nt be too surprised a couple of her boys join the military and gives their lives for their nation so you can sit there faceless behind a screen and judge their mothers and their kids!
