Free meal at Applebee's for Vets/Active Military Friday and Golden Coral Monday.

Just thought I would give a heads up to other vets and active military if you didn't know... you can eat free today at Applebee's.

I just us my VA medical card... the one you have to use to get in the VA. Also military ID's.

Little Cesars is giving away free bread sticks here, 7-11 free Slurpees. I can't remember all the places but a local DJ has been listing them every hour today. AND saying thank you to all the Veterans after he runs down the list.

Moved so many times, that I don't have any of those anymore...

but i do have a copy of my DD214...

Uh, wrong. And a disgusting view of generosity.

I got my free meal at Applebees, and it was great! I got the fiesta lime chicken, something I get occasionally there. It's pretty good and I've replicated it at home a few times. However, my bill still ran $22... those damned San Grias!
