Very true. Sort of like us with Hurricanes.....you can't stop them so you learn to cope.

I'd rather ride out a hurricane any day than deal with an earthquake! I'm near a shakey area now, but came from the SE coast, so it's probably just a getting used to it thing!

Yet another one! This one was closer to the size of the afternoon quake -- I'm guessing around a 4?

We just had another, this one felt like a normal shaking, if there is such a thing lol.

earthquake.usgs.gov...

The Haywood is the last one we want to get active it's way overdue.

They're getting bigger, that is not good. Mean these could be precursors right?

Oh my!!!!!
Another one!
Earlier was a 4.2 and now a 4.0! I'm scared about what might be coming next....
With if these are all the foreshocks leading up to a 7+......
It's totally plausible. I won't be sleeping well tonight

It's almost exactly the same as earlier. Same initial magnitude, same downgraded magnitude...almost the same depth, almost EXACT same area.....

Seems either they are accidentally reprinting the event from earlier or something did actually cause this and is doing it again....

IDK...but honestly...you don't see the exact same location or depth ever...they are almost always both even just a little different than previous ones.
