I would not pay for a prostitute for I have never had the need for one. I am just that pretty!

But I would rather it be legal and regulated that way they can limit the spread of diseases and reduce crime related to prostitution.

It is practically legal in the States...its simply called an escort. You pay them for COMPANY not SEX...but many are known to have sex with their customers. I have seen advertisement for them before...and it is all the same (they practically hint at sex in the ads).

I feel bad for people who are suffering that much financially that they would put themselves in that business. I cant honestly believe that they ALL ENJOY THEIR WORK. (Escorts that is.) But I suppose they never actually have to have sex with customers and its not like there is a site that rates them based on how many customers got sex...so they cant really get black listed if they don't go through with it. So in that case, they can make a decent dollar.
