This was a worth following thread , a truly complicated issue , i don't beleive that making it legal will make anything better , the man and woman who resort to prostitution will not be trusted by the person whom they want to marry be it legall or illigal , there is a natural need that must be served but at the same time one is at risk of getting some sexually transmited desease in case of resorting to a prostitute to have sex . I don't codemn it but personelly i woudn't feel safe .

I say we make French kissing and holding hands in public illegal because it is gross, almost like a child's early sexual development type of scenario on the playground. So creepy.

And I actually have to witness couples doing this in public unlike prostitution where at least the act everyone pretends to be so offended by takes place behind closed doors.

Like any adult I am willing to mind my own business for the betterment of society. A society in which there are no answers or true reasons to eliminate many of humanities instinctual desires - if we just keep our little pet peeves to ourselves and stop making laws to prevent them.

I would never use a prosty but for heavens sakes why in the world would anybody with half a sense of acting like a team player on this planet care if someone else did. Of all things!

Cant we make it illegal for food chains to throw our day old perfectly edible goods and instead have to donate it to charities? Wouldnt this be a law about a million times more necessary than a law having to do with sex??

I think making prostitution illegal results in laws that clearly do NOT allow for separation of church and state enough.

I would vote to make it legal since that profession has been around since.......well since right after cavemen stopped beating cave-women over the head and women learned they could make money at it.

I would vote for it because I think it's up to the women (if they are adults) to chose what she wants to do with her body and if a guy has to buy it, that's him, not me. As far as children getting involved to early because of legalizing prostitution everywhere, well that sounds like a parenting issue that needs fixing. If it's the parents forcing their young son or daughter--some one have a gun?

Actually, you DO condemn it twice in your post. You assume that anyone, man or woman who resorts to prostitution will not be trusted by whoever they want to marry. You really mean YOU would not trust them, but it certainly does not go for everyone. You also equate prostitution with sexually transmitted diseases, when the truth is, anyone can protect themselves against STDs or not. Just in case you didn`t know, you can ALSO get STD`s from people who AREN`T prostitutes too!

OP Reaminds me of the documentary called "super high me", where a radio show host asked doug benson if he joined his campaign for legalization of marijuana, if he would be willing to join his campaign for the "MEDICAL" legalization of prostitution.

don't go to prostitutes, but would vote to make it legal. the opposition to it is based in false morality; religion interfering in human affairs once again. I say, if a woman of appropriate age(21?) wants to do this, it's her right. there should be no stigma. god, if people #ed more without shame, there'd be a lot less crime. seriously.

To be serious though, prostitutes gross me out. I just consider them to be dirty and that may not be the case but it certainly destroys any libido I might have just by considering a prostitute. On the other hand I believe in freedom and I don't think it's my place to put my morality or judgement into the mix. What two consenting adults agree to is none of my business.

Fast food is loaded with saturated fat, should be discouraged and should not be given a boost.

As an adult who has learned to keep to myself, I don't need laws against selling fast food. I am able to control my spite.
