WTF?
Since when is selling a few $20.00 Tee-shirts automatically GREED?
CAPITALISM IS NOT automatically "BAD"
The entire debate is where to draw the line at "excessive".

If an organic soybean farmer builds a tofu plant and sells his product in environmentally friendly dolphin-free packaging has he comitted any liberal sins?ie "greed"?

You're a member of this site & don't know what this protest is all about? Really? Just look at the front page, newest topics flags & replies, I mean how could you not know?

The people that started the protest didn't know what it was about.

Now however people are seeing a perfect opportunity to express their anger at the system in general. Honestly, besides the yoga and hippy dances it's not at all to different than the original Tea Party protests (before being hijacked by the Republicans)

I expect this movement to be hijacked by Democrats and for Republicans to spin it and use it to bolster the Tea Party.

I absolutely love that video. That guy gets it and it gave me hope to see a young impassioned person speaking the truth. My hope is that it goes viral and enlightens a few.

There's nothing inherently wrong with capitalism when it's free enterprise capitalism with a level playing field.

What we have now is NOT capitalism. There's not a one word term (to my knowledge) that describes a crony, insider run system where business and government are in bed with each other and write the rules and regulations to favor and further their own interests.

This is what has to be dismantled and we need to return to free enterprise capitalism. We no longer live in a representative democracy. The only interests that are represented are those of the insiders and then whatever they desire is spun to be sold to the public through fear and deceit.

This is just a guy at #ONY saying it how it is!

* Military Industrial Complex
* we need smaller Federal government, bigger state gov so the people can be heard
* End the Fed
* Bring back gold standard/end fiat money
(emphasis added)

Funny, that.

He's "just a guy" at the OWS NY who happens to espouse Tea Party ideals!

Wonder why he gets "face time" from the MSM?
Wonder if he speaks for the rest of the "99%"?

According to "this guy:
#ONY

* Military Industrial Complex
* we need smaller Federal government, bigger state gov so the people can be heard
* End the Fed
* Bring back gold standard/end fiat money

According to Tea Party movement:

* reduce tax burden on middle class that funds 'Military Industrial Complex'
* "States' Rights: 'we need smaller Federal government' so the people can be heard
* Audit and 'End the Fed'
* eliminating Fed "blank checks" will 'end fiat money.'
See this thread:

Ron Paul Talks about the OWS movement

Originally posted by MysticPearl
One of the differences between Ron and other politicians, is that he often talks freely about how not only does the government abuse its power and not follow the rule of law, but also how it effects, and will effect each one of us as our civil liberties disappear if it isn't put to a stop. No other politicians seem concerned, nor would I believe them if they said they were.

So, if "this guy" is offered-up as "representative," please explain how people supporting the OWS movement can so easily ridicule the Tea Party movement's basic principles.

Hypocrites? Two-faced? Inconsistent?

Were the shirts made in the US?

Are you perhaps comparing those "steep prices" to Walmart prices?

"Twenty bucks is too expensive... Chinese teenagers must fix this for us."
