back to the topic -- this should come as no surprise.
the Obama administration hasn't been firm on anything since day 1 ... well, maybe the whole re-distribution of wealth platform but that's about it.

Clinton nor Obama have any business in deciding what is best for Israel. This sounds more like a preemptive maneuver to utilize when the UN reconvenes on the Palestine issue.

Israel shares our values? What planet are you living on?
Israel discriminates against ALL non Jews within Israel. Is discrimination a value we share with Israel? Israel flaunts International Law with impunity. Is this one of our shared values?

Israel may share your values but certainly not the values of most Americans and most certainly not mine.

Maybe you should check out the laws in regards to life, and liberty that has been enacted in the US recently. Are you sure that is what the Nation now stands for? I will agree that Israel stands for those things just as much as the US does. Too bad what our Nation stands for has changed so drastically in the last few years.

I agree. As a nation of people, we still believe. It doesn't really matter where the leaders stand. The day they try and take it speech away is the day they find out what we believe. They take their reward now and lose it later.

Anyone living in Israel can practice their faith freely. There are Arab communities in Israel as well as nationalities from across the world. They are very young as a democracy. Compare them to any of their neighbors and they are free. Are they culturally different than us? Yes. Describe what you see as discrimination.

Does the individual represent the entire nation? The leaders are not openly calling for the destruction of the PA. They could have done it long ago if this was there desire. I will simply point out that if the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be peace. If Israel put down it's weapons today, no more Israel.

Politicians are all about the votes bro, they will lie if it gets them more votes. Doesn't take a genius to figur eout where liars stand with God. Theyre going to have a very uncomfortable eternity.

Israel does not have a constitution and refuses to write one because it is not a "state of all its people".

The Jewish elite who run Israel do not want to share power with ordinary Jews let alone Christian or Muslim Arabs or the other minorities living in the land claimed by Israel.

Israel brags about being a democracy. The US is supposed to be a republic based on a written constitution that protects the rights of minority.

Israel brags about being a democracy and it is in the worst way.

Specifically, the majority of people in the entity are Jews and they force their ideology on the non-Jews.

This is exactly what the framers of the US Consitution were trying to avoid.

So, anyone who says that Israel shares the same values as the USA knows nothing about Israel or the USA.
