Anyway, OP, I take it you are anti-abortion. What do you think of rape cases in which the woman becomes pregnant. Do you see any circumstances in which abortion is okay?

actually I hate abortion, and most everyone on the left does to. but we hate it more if the government dictates this very personal issue. the "rape" rant was just a counter to the op's equally stupid rant.

Well first of all I got this by email in greek! So I translated it, hence it is not even word by word.

Yes I am pro life. And that is for me and just for me personally. I can't tell anybody what to do with their life, with their unborn babies (due to rape or not) and what to do with their bodies. Every single one of us is free to do with his life what he thinks best.

I just found the story cute and thought to share it. Of course I knew that somebody would jump on the pro choice/life train, but some posts really make you wonder...

Personally I am against abortion. If I were a woman, I would not be able to abort my baby no matter what. If I were raped, I can see myself having it and either keeping it or giving it up for adoption... But I am a man, so I might feel different if I were a woman.

But I fall under pro-choice. My choice would be not to abort, others may be different and I feel that is there right.

That said, I had not seen the OP before, and I admit, It kind of choked me up a bit.

When it comes to abortion, the preferences of a woman have to be weighed against the preferences of the fetus. It's her body, her choice. A fetus isn't a person. Being human and being a person are two different things.

I hate it-I think it should be womans choice both these are just pointless statements.

I raised 3 boys the oldest is 20 the twins are 19 a 17 year old and two taht are still young but that 4 who are teens and older you know how many girls my boys have gotton preggers??? NONE zero zip nada .
and i grante you its not because they dont ever touch a girl . Its because I made DARN sure tehy know they were RESPONSIBLE for any life they help bring into the world .

What if a girl is raped by her uncle and the rape causes a pregnancy of a potentially mentally and physically retarded child? who's lives will you be improving in this case?

What I will say though is this...

This mother was happy to be pregnant. But she aborted her baby to please a man. Now that is sad.
It's a pity that some woman feel that they cannot be a parent alone, or they either do it because they love the man in their life more than the idea of having a child...
