Every time the number sequence reverted back to a lower number, I started a new sentence.

i.e if you take the first few numbers (1.68 2.100 2.165 3.16 4.131 4.221 4.322 5.12 5.322 5.493 6.24 7.52 1.120 2.6 2.41 2.68 3.16 3.53 3.108 4.14 4.20 4.55 4.62 4.106 6.41 6.184 6.340 6.477 6.487) this relates to

1) 1.68 2.100 2.165 3.16 4.131 4.221 4.322 5.12 5.322 5.493 6.24 7.52
2) 1.120 2.6 2.41 2.68 3.16 3.53 3.108 4.14 4.20 4.55 4.62 4.106 6.41 6.184 6.340 6.477 6.487

All the numbers in the sequence increase in value through each sentence. I merely started a new sentence when the numbers broke the sequence

Ah, ok... i get it now. I was wondering about that...

But even with this sentence format... we still don't know what the code means. you know, like 2.168 for example... is X.YYY We dont know what X and Y are just yet

I am ruling out journal.word because of the way the numbers increase in sequence, one would expect that if this was the case the numbers would not be in sequence... i.e a word would be taken for journal 1 then journal 2, then journal one, probability would suggest that not all words could be found in sequence.

It could relate to journal.letter, but even then I just don't this this is the right answer... I think we need to be more cryptic... As soon as I find out I will let you know... I'm not interested in winning an iPad!

yeah, i was working on the page.letter method last night... didnt really get anywhere with it. Page.word might be something though

ETA: might be a double cipher, too. get all the words, then have to rearrange them... or even rearrange the letters

I think you're on to something. Each increasing number sequence corresponds to a journal page. 20 sequences, 20 pages, which is why we need all the journal pages to get the message.

Interesting, but still just a theory until we figure out the cypher.

My bad i guess im not in the best of moods. i feel ya! only thing i am of no comp. i havnt broen any ground. lie my friend Warm said we have great ideas and ppl shut them down because we dont have some of the skills/tools others have to seach the codes. they shut down our ideas only to discover we were partially correct. we never get any credit. but idc i just enjoy playing. i got all worked up because i saw a post on the chat being offline, but didnt stop to look at the date"duh". so i have no prob saying sorry to whom ever i offended

Bubbles, I get the frustration... but from what I understand, ATS chat was shut down for valid security reasons. Can't blame em for that.

But regardless, time to move forward... we're making head way with this number code!

i think this is the last missing page we write it!!! As the letters are found in the pages we have,but finding the order is the hard part. Page one is back with, as i said before, read the last line and go from there, for i think this will tell you how to put them in order as a story, and solve the game www.enigma-amgine.com... do we know if the set of numbers is in order ie 1.68 2.100 ect?????

I think I have the cypher. There are 20 increasing sequences of numbers. Each sequence represents a journal page and a word of the message. The format of the numbers in the sequence is paragraph.character. All characters count, including punctuation and spaces. The journal entry headers count as a paragraph as well.

Page 15 is the easiest, since all the characters are in paragraph #1. If you type it into NotePad with all the punctuation, all on one line, then use the status bar in notepad to index what character youhave the cursor on, the sequence spells out the word "representation".

It will take me awhile to do the rest of the sequences, but I'm pretty confident that is the way to decode it.

We need page 18 of the journal to complete this, based on the clues given on the E-A website.

Of course, I could be wrong... I'll know in a bit.

Edit: Anybody care to break up the duties? I'll start with page 1 and work up. Who will start from the end? If it's not lining up, check all punctuation!

i agree but the do the ,." count ? For if they do, then say a could be s see what i am getting at. Say 2.100 is seen as an s when counting,." is a with out counting the ,." when that is counted it is an s am i making sense??? getting late might call it a night.

Periods have 1 space after them, as do all commas.
