Take your own advice, I'm the one telling you to cut the crap, you can't turn that around on me for calling you out, soldier boy.

Well, you know what they say...
Admitting you have a problem is the first step in recovery

Now if we are done with all this chin wagging and lip flapping BS here can we get back on topic?

Hey you put the question out there. You asked "what have you done." I am simply asking what gives you any room to ask that of anyone else. You claim you served your country and protected freedom but cannot explain when, where, how, or from who. So the next time you ask others what they have done while patting yourself on the back you should probably keep in mind it is not impressing anyone but you.

You want to deride others for not doing as much as you have done yet 3 posts later all you can claim to have done is make up crap about me and then fail to catch the sarcasm in my response. Not much of a contribution and if anything, you make these protestors seem like people who actually are doing something. They at least got up off their ass while you are sitting at a computer just like me.

You're not calling anybody out.
Try not to confuse that hamster wheel squeaking away in your head for a proper thought process and believe you are accomplishing anything

The topic was Occupy Wall Street Has Begun! not how my military "member" swings but I do confess I find it rather odd that a grown man would find that a fascinating subject.

The problem with the protests today, as I see them. There have been some of large numbers on both sides of the field. These young people are doing what they believe in peacefully right now. The Tea Party did much the same thing, The People are divided....

Get these young people to demand auditing the Fed. You ARE the future...you have to UNITE to beat a common foe...seriously...

To make a REAL change, the left can not do it alone. The right can not do it alone.

The People ****United**** will stand

divided we are all ####

There is an old song about it even

Actually I'm now sitting on my sofa typing on a cordless keyboard and mouse using my Japanese flat screen TV as a monitor. Why Japanese? Because all American TV manufactures found it cheaper to go over seas. Why?

Too much regulation, red tape, taxes and not enough profit here in the states. But you and similar ILK want to now attack the last of the corporation still doing business here in the States and for what?

Drive the rest out?

Yes, drive the rest out ... the Nazis didn't dissapear, they moved ... and guess where to.

When stuff was built in Japan, it was actually ok. Most of the work, was well done by the japanese, and had quality. In many cases, better quality than when done in the US. However, in case you don't get it ... Ronald Raegan called out the Japanese, because they didn't want to make return investments in the US, so the deficit was building up. The Japanese, were a little late in answering the call, and their buying of motion picture companies in the US, was met with bad attitude, and the US corporations went to China. The result of using China to do major business related issues, was also treason in and by itself. China got their hands on major technologies, that allowed them to modernise their military and become a real threat. It wasn't merely a treason to the US, it was treason towards the world itself ... while you are sitting on your asses, claiming to be saving the world, all you do is make it vulnerable for the next military to take advantage of it.

Secondly, and one that is of importance here ... the people on Wall Street, are merely the Germans and their cohorts, that moved from Germany in those days. And they don't really care one god damn thing, about the American People, or the sheeple of the world itself, either. They undermine your economy, be outsourcing ... and basically it works like this ...

Government companies are put into private ownership, and the owners want to make money for themselves. They start by laying off people, because those people will have the ability to get welfare checks. Then they cut down production costs, to a minimum, by allowing China to build the product. The product is cheap in production, but is sold at enormous cost in the US and Europe. They turn out a profit margin several hundred percentiles. They make HUGE money, which is moved to a different location ... all this money, is moved through share holding, to an external base, outside of the US and outside of Europe ... the middle east. In the end, you have few people working, and a lot of people out of jobs. Where the people will no longer be able to sustain their standard of living, and no longer be able to buy commodities.

You've seen it in your neighborhood .. everyone has. Fewer and fewer are buying goods ... but at the same time, production is getting cheaper and cheaper, because more and more people are layed off. So the profit of the few, is at a standstill ... and all that cash, is being moved out ... by truckloads, via the internet.

And you are standing there ... an idiot, who thinks he's done his country a good service. By being a good idiot, and fighting for those who are undermining your country and mine.

Sorry pal ... get off your far ass and protest, like a real man. Because your being robbed, your just too stupid to get it. Don't take it as an insult, because we ALL were ... but it's time to wake up.

No it impresses lots of ATS posters who also think it is pretty damn righteous and cool to go abroad with a gun and shoot a few brown skinned people, resolved of all responsibility for murder because the man who pays your wages told you to do it.

whats the latest from occupywallst.? i heard there were only about 100 people there yesterday.

from what i saw it seemed pretty badly organised with no real coherent message. I saw anarchists holding anti-captialism signs others with "stop police brutality" someone else with "tax the rich" . Very muddled.

IMO the anti-captialists are living in la-la land. The fact is the people accept & like capitalism what they dont like is out of control wreckless capitalism. It would be better if this was the main thrust of the arguement .

So lets get this straight.

They are occupying wall street for the fifth day... There is massive police and at least occasionally SWAT precence. They ae continuing. The interview with the falsely arrested (who have returned to the protest) indicate that once they are at the station the normal cops have sympathy for them. So the ultimate thugs and "special" forces (special as in special olympics) are the only ones who are totally fkd up.

I cannot imagine how this project would have succeeded better. Just imagine the amount of money they have to put into the insane police machine that is running there. If normal police presence would suffice for the elite, then it would be +-0 aside fom the publicity. Currently the scales are tipped in favor of #occupywallstreet, i would say hundreds of thousands of dollars worth.

Keep it up. I am waiting when this movement spreads to my country.

I have not seen one mention of this on MSM.

Also what are the numbers there?

Is anyone still on site?

Is it being reported or talked about in the USA?

Kind Regards,

Elf

How do you stop capitalism becoming out of control and reckless, when it is possible for the capitalists to buy and own the very people who are meant to regulate them.

Great Thinkers? which ones? Karl Marx, Engels, Hegel? Yes yes I know all about them. You may have your opinion and I may have mine. Mine is that good hearts are led astray by the putrid stench of a failed ideology which does not work in practice.
Did you know that the US taxpayers may end up picking up the tab for an Italian baillout courtesy of the IMF? That is real news. Why should I be on the hook for failed Italian economy? It's who is behind this protest that bothers me, and what the real agenda is. I bet some of these people are professional protesters who move from one protest to the next, you know like from Greece to Egypt and now to the States. I was watching the livestream and they seem to be veterans some of them. They give advice on how to come as close as they can without getting arrested.

ANd just so you know, if you are a leftist, than the State is your Master. That is premiere in the Communist Manifesto. The State is Supreme. Although Marx did say the State would eventually wither away but it doesn't and it hasn't. Your dream of a self-governing proletariat Utopia is an illusion. In the meantime you seem to think you are entitled to another's paycheck just because Marx said so.

Why you have 700 bases in 130 countries ?

16 Reasons Why The United States Can No Longer Afford To Be The Police Of The World

www.infowars.com...

Some of the reasons

Prior to the beginning of the “War on Terror” our national debt was under 6 trillion dollars. Today, it has more than doubled and currently sits at a whopping 14.3 trillion dollars
www.treasurydirect.gov...

U.S. military spending is greater than the military spending of China, Russia, Japan, India, and the rest of NATO combined.

www.eurocapital.gr...

today, the U.S. military is in nearly 130 different nations and it has a total of about 700 military bases around the globe. It costs approximately 100 billion dollars each year to maintain these military bases.

Just one day of the war in Afghanistan costs more money than it took to build the entire Pentagon.

Your post threatening Americas demise makes me think that this protest and you and people who support the socialist movement are just interested in destroying America. But I know that there is a larger agenda of a One World Totalitarian movement, which I have been observing since the 70s.
Before you go getting all high and mighty on me, I've been studying the NWO, and the writings of Antony Sutton who has done an exemplary job exposing Wall Street and the financing of the Bolshevik Revolution, and let me tell you something, if it were not for the anarchic socialist elements of this protest it would have some merit. How foolish is it to rail against Capitalists while George Soros the filty rich socialist is sacking everybody right before your eyes. When you can call George Soros' office and make these demands on him you are making on Wall Street, then I will have some respect for you.
While you are on the subject of brow beating America over the bases, I'll have you know that I was against all the wars, including the current occupier of the Wh bombing of Libya. I am against the PATRiOT ACT. I am against the crazy spending.
I am a Tea Partier and it's really amazing to see how the media brow beat us for standing up to the socialist agenda in the WH, but where is Ms Janet now on this Wall Street Protest? I am waiting for her to call you all terrorist.

What's wrong is there are likely professional protesters involved in this. It was advertised well in advance. The Unions, Code Pink, CPUSA are all involved. Also the title Day of Rage was used by Bill Ayers and the Weatherman Underground in the 60's.The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Here is a blog discussing the involvement of the Soros front Tides Foundation.
gulagbound.com...

All I can say is if you have the gut feeling on this...look into it.
