The only reason Tea Party is classified as racist is simple. People in control do not want to lose control, so label the opposition as the most horrendous being you can, a racist.
You can link all the neo nazi, KKK, whatever garbage you want. They are no more racist than the black panthers sitting at the voting booth last election.
That kind of ignorance is why we keep spinning our wheels and not going anywhere.
You might not have all the right answers but it will help to at least know who your enemies are.
The guy in the wolf suit waving the flag...not so much.

Ignorance?
Maybe you need to read their post again.
Sounds spot on to me.
So-called progressives/dems/libs know that racism is a hot button issue and something many whites carry a guilt complex on.
The racism charge is often leveled precisely because the so-called progressives/dems/libs know that and they are desperate for an issue they can manufacture to try and gain back some voters.

Oh, now it is the "progressive Dems" that are the problem with the country?
What a joke. It looks like you are falling hook line and sinker for the lie too.

I don't have to read it again. Yes, I said ignorance. It can only be "not knowing" that average Americans are being pitted against each other and against a ideological enemy called the "progressive" or the "conservative" simply so the wealthy can get away with and continue their game of getting richer off the sweat and blood and backs of the poor.
The Tea Party is a farce. I am not saying anyone else has the answers I am saying the Tea Party is a facade and a farce designed to fool you and remove even more of your "Constitutional rights"
People who do not see that will walk into their own miserable fates and what will it be that led them there? Falsehoods and lies ...and ignorance of what the heck they were getting themselves in for.

Great. You can pretend that you are "enlightened" (elitist?) and above it all, but the REALITY of the political situation is that we still have to play the cards we were dealt.

You can also state your opinion that the Tea Party is a "farce" all you want. Means nothing and proves nothing. I can just as easily say the democrat party is a farce due to its agenda being hijacked by socialists and communists long ago.

Last, please list for all of us exactly which constitutional rights the tea party wants to take away - in your opinion.

After you do that, let's compare that list with the ACTUAL list of rights being eroded by the CURRENT administration.

Calling someone delusional?

How did we know the personal attacks would soon follow when the few liberal soundbites and talking points you had memorized failed to sway anyone's opinion.

Out of all the polling and data...Ironically the one item of evidence that tells me most succinctly that the TP is racist is the fact that EVERY time they see the rare black man at one of thier rallies they swarm him with cameras and video tape him, put him on youtube and shout "see! we are not racist" and then ask him to go on stage and speak!

Next time you see a vid of that black man at a TP rally, look over his shoulder...look out into the crowd as far as you can see, and see if you can spot another black man or family. See any white folks?
edit on 29-8-2011 by Indigo5 because: (no reason given)

How does that give evidence of their racism???? If the mere lack of black people around you "proves" you are racist, then we are ALL in trouble, aren't we??? There are no black people around me at the moment...does that mean I am a racist???

Or maybe...open your mind a little...they are NOT racist, and are desperate to "prove" they are not. They are frustrated because the whole movement has been portrayed as racist, and therefore the rush to show that there ARE black members of the tea party makes sense.

I've been to several Tea Party Tax Day rallies, and I never saw any of the racist-type signs like those that were linked by the previous poster. I've seen plenty of signs that were not favorable to Obama, but that's politics. Obama's politics are the antithesis of the Tea Party's politics, so obviously the Tea Party is not going to be an Obama fan. Clearly, I can't deny that obviously some people have made signs that have a message that could be deemed racist (the photos linked in the previous post), but that doesn't mean the whole movement is a racist movement.

I would like to know why no one has an answer for the links?
Why not instead of bashing me, tell me why those 5 examples do not illustrate how racist the Tea Party is? Are they lies? Did anyone even open them up and read them? Does anyone even really want an answer to the question or is it really a redundant rhetorical question designed to somehow wipe away the recent past and replace it with a new Non-racist history. The Grand Wizard from the KKK says about a thousand of them want him to run as the GOP nominee. Is that NOT a racist mindset? I am only trying to answer the OP's question not get into it with people pushing the Tea Stains. I am not worried about a few racists. So what. It is the corporate monopolies behind the Stains that will do us in.

Absolutely, they are - so the dishonesty must be yours alone.

Check out these for Bush for very similar examples to what you've posted.

No one is going to buy the "every criticism of obama is racist" BS you and any other obama supporter tries to push any longer.

Clearly it is an attempt at deflection unless underwear now also are demonized to you. And it is because providing actual facts and answers do not seem to work. How can you say a party is not racist when they don't have any black people? Come on. It is certainly not representative of all races. Lets at least agree on that. Actually I don't see why we have to agree. In a free and fair DEMOCRACY you can do something to convince me this TP is good for me. Or you can call me names and say all we do is insult. That because although I post links you choose to ignore them. I guess I don't know how to argue or have a conversation with someone like that and so I give up. Cry uncle and go home.

I have an answer for you. I also thought I addressed it in my previous post.

Let me be clear: Those links do not illustrate the majority of the Tea Party.

You can find rotten apples in EVERY barrel.

So there are 1,000 racists who like the Grand Wizard of the KKK? I don't know anyone who actually endorses that viewpoint. That is ludicrous.

That statement alone is clearly false since the tea party does have black members, plus other races. That makes the rest of your "argument" moot.

Or you can call me names and say all we do is insult.

Sorry, it is you that owns that one.

That because although I post links you choose to ignore them. I guess I don't know how to argue or have a conversation with someone like that and so I give up. Cry uncle and go home.

Links from biased websites hardly carves what you say in stone.

BTW, if there are really no black members of the tea party as you want to believe, why is this website necessary?

Black Tea Party Members Are A Disgrace To Their Race

I`ve witnessed a few token African Americans speak at Tea Party conventions and demonstrations. These blacks are traitors to their race and to the ideals of democracy and liberty, and they deserve to be called "Uncle Toms".

Interesting that the writer wants to stereotype backs that don't fit HIS prejudiced viewpoints, while complaining about others that do the same. A pure example of hypocrisy. Are you sure you aren't engaging in the same thing?

You don't personally know any of them so it is ludicrous impossible and could not possibly have happened?
OK I'll buy that...as if I have a choice.
Again and look.. not trying to change anyone's mind here. OP asked a question, one of the few I happen to know the answer to. You don't believe it. The world is not coming to an end... it doesn't matter that you and I disagree. That is the beauty of the voting system. I think people have seen enough of the Tea Party to judge for themselves come next election.

I am sure you have witnessed a great deal. I don't argue with people who say blacks are racist.
It indicates a shallow depth of knowledge and an attempt to manipulate and twist the truth. I don't even care about this issue of the Stains to argue with you about it.
Modeling themselves after a group of Freemasons posing as Indians to annex us from England, so THEY (that group of illustrious businessmen - our first global corporations) could own us instead of the Crown - was their first faux pas.
People can see what the Tea Party represents.
The Fabulous Koch Brothers...Sarah Palin, Michele Bachman and Rick Perry. Enough said.

If you go to dinner and there are no black people in the restuarant you could simply be in a geography defined by economics or history. Perhaps a region that minorities did not flock to in the past century. It does not make you racist.

If a national political party holds hundreds of large gatherings of thousands of people all across the country and 1% or less are black, then it is fair to ask why. It might even be valid to reflect upon the rhetoric that is employed during those rallies.

Racism has become a default setting primarily used/misused by political parties against people who are willing to engage in Independent thought.

Racism has become the template for censorship of other views. It is outright PC censorship. by guilt manipulation. For those attempting to label others as racist expect to default through on the moral high ground without any debate or challenge. Racism has today morphed into such a default setting.

Other groups have engaged in just such a default technique of labeling their competition in order to play through by default and on the public purse. The Homosexual groups as well as the feminist groups use/misuse this guilt technique.

Other ethnic groups also use such guilt control techniques and labeling for censorship of their competition and these groups are learning rapidly to manipulate the system using guilt perception as a control mechanism over others. The Muslims and the Hispanics are moving rapidly into this arena as well. And politics is more than willing to sell the very soul of a nation...ie..others.. for the votes of these peoples.

It became clear early on that this administration was heavily vested in Racism techniques as well as the political party for which shilled for them..including the news media. Racism was the very best they had to control/censor the views of any competition. Racism has become predictable in its nature, use and misuse.

The problem is that Americans are beginning to catch on and it is getting Wolfie. The NAACP and other such organizations are clearly being seen and understood that Racism is the very best solution to every perceived ill or injustice in existence and many not yet present. And Americans are tiring of it.

They are not interested in such guilt manipulations when so many are out of jobs.

They are finally learning that the best solutions to American problems is Racism and this is not sufficing to solve anything. They are finally figuring out that this constant Racism is showing a severe lack of character in our leadership and political institutions ...including the NAACP and other such groups.
RACISM has become the siren cry of the death of common sense thinking and allows others to play through on emotions and default settings. Like this computer ..it must be allowed to default through unquestioned and unchallenged..and on the public purse.

The whole Racism issue becomes a lesson in deflection and lack of leadership and excuses.

Americans are expecting more and better from their leadership than Racism, labeling, and excuses..ie...more "Victimization." Americans want real solutions...and are finding both political parties lacking in this arena.

Get a clue people...expect more of your leadership and affiliated groups than RACISM.

You are going to find that many of them have no solutions because all they have on their plate is RACISM. RACISM is how they make their bread and butter.

Leonard Pitts is one person who to me has become a one topic journalist. His opinions are mostly about RACISM.
It gets to where when I see his name on the editorial page I know to skip over his articles. Racism seems to be the only topic on which he can post. It gets tiring to read a one topic post over and over and over.
Leonard Pitts like the NAACP and this administration and their followers ...has become predictable.

Guilt manipulation does not work on me. I have seen to much of it becoming a cottage industry in this country.

Same thing with PC. PC is become censorship to stifle opposing views in the political arena. This is why the Tea Party must be labeled as RACIST. Because if more peoples began thinking for themselves the political control and censorship would be broken and in big trouble..republican and democrat both.

I know this about the Republicans because even they do not teach people to think for themselves..including their shills at Fox News.

Thanks,
Orangetom

It's a matter of culture, blacks and whites are culturally different, I know that's a hard pill for a multicultural Marxist to swallow.
