I have been wondering why this storm is so special.

Many storms have gone this path and didnt get nearly as much attention and compared to others, this is nothing.

Even here in Florida they were freaking out earlier in the week. Shelves and places like Home Depot were packed and it was hundreds of miles OFF the coast and it stayed off our coast. We got a little rain and wind, that was it.

Now I get it. It aint bad for you so why should it be bad for anyone else. Because afterall, Florida and New York might as well be the exact same thing?

Gonna have to wait and see what Orly Taitz "scanner expert" says about those pics before I can believe you really took a picture of a flooded road. Some poster in Florida said he was fine so there is no way you are flooded.

How many hurricanes have traveled that same path as far north up the coast in the last 1000 years?

And um...maybe I am missing something here but what does 1000 years ago have to do with it anyway? Do you really think floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, lightning could do the same damage 1000 years ago? Have you not seen all the stuff we built? NYC has a ton of it. Not sure there were any giant glass buildings 1000 years ago up the coast of America like there is today.

I would like to say though. Just putting this out there. If your saying that this Hurricane is man made. I say your wrong. It's hurricane season on the east coast happens ever year. The only thing that is odd is how much hype the media has put behind it.

Until someone can show me without a doubt that our Gov can make a hurricane and an earthquake. It's all bull. Yes I'm aware of harp. But know one has factual information. Just solid speculation.

To say the Gov is seeing how quickly they can move the american people is the same as sayin they made a hurricane and that's crap

No, all they are really saying is that Obama is a terrible president and the media is ALL in his back pocket, including FOX, and this is all some political ruse and there really is no big storm at all because that is how f****** nice life is for some people right now that they need to make up things to be upset about.

I survived Hurricane Floyd in 1999 in North Carolina. I was 14, but I remember the water coming up pretty close to my house. I slept through most of it. We had no power for a few days, but our home wasn't extensively damaged. My friends in North Carolina were laughing about this hurricane. My ex-step father still lives there, he's just chillen out still watching the television. As an Oklahoma girl, I heard about 70-80 mph winds. Which doesn't seem too amazing since (before the drought), that was what most of our severe weather consisted of, except tornadoes of course.

Dunno, but i just saw 3 guys in swimming trunks, drinking tea while walking behind a cnn news reporter.
Right before that, another guy passed behind her crossing the street, had trunks on too.

here is another hurricane streak.

Mandatory evacuations
Warnings that electricity will be disrupted
Obama cutting vacation short

They also mentioned (though only once or twice) that 101,000 National Guard troops were ready to go. That seems like an awfully big number to me.

Plus there is the evacuation of 40 US Warships.

Maybe they are just preparing to keep people safe but something smells fishy to me.

It really seems that they are just not taking any chances. It was only a category two but that has nothing to do with the size of the storm or how much rain it may dump.

Much of my state is flooded and without power now.

As far as the warships, they always go out to sea when there is a hurricane, We used to go out to sea for just tropical storms.

I can't help but feel something nefarious might be going on overseas during this apparent (and convenient) media misdirection the general television addicted populace is being subjected to...

I think the related thread here shows a theory that I think deserves more credence than is getting. What if the same scenario happened and in fact the venting of steam caused the use of haarp that caused the earthquake AGAIN?

The video in the related thread

Furthermore, it was the UN who allowed this, the use of dodgy uranium, and for those who look closely know the UN is the NWO. They have brought this upon the planet knowingly. All these reactors are going to need to shut down. Many wont properly and need to vent and chemtrails and haarp will be used again causing more chaos. This is the plan. Depopulation. Entire Northern Hemisphere.

well i sat up all night waiting for this hurricane, it was windy but it was nothing noteworthy, there were some short periods of rain, but it was mostly a continuous drizzle.

overall the severity was extremely exaggerated, at least from where im sitting on long island, about a mile from the bay.

Maybe thoes in the know, know something bigger is on the way and it's time to move government offices inland. This natural storm along with the media burst could be the perfect distraction to do this out of the public eye.

Sorry if someone already posted the following, I haven't checked.

Dutchsince on Youtube follows weather, earthquake and volcanic activity
He posted the following on Irene which includes weather modification, and not the good kind.

www.youtube.com...

It shows Haarp rings, or at least what he calls Haarp rings. Whatever they are, they certainly aren't natural

Some people think he is a crackpot, but I find he is usually on the mark or headed in the right direction.

This was more recently posted by Dutchsince on the Irene hurricane with potential tornado

Seems like it will hit Long Island.

I live in Finksburg/Westminster, Maryland...... LOL Come on! This is just an other rainy day in Maryland. You are most certainly right OP. THIS IS NOTHING. But the news would love for you to think other wise.....

For example (sorry I don't have a link but maybe some one else saw this) Last night as Chanel 13 news was in downtown Annapolis (My home town
) and as the reporter was telling the audience how, it could get very bad and the police ask every one to stay inside for their safety..... There where plenty of college kids running around half naked, enjoying the sprinkle and breeze.

Once it was reduced to a cat 1, I walked around outside without a shirt on instead of with one.

The earth quake was much more fun .

Well, I am Southeastern PA and the flooding you are seeing here is real...... even today with the rain stopped the wind is blowing pretty good out there and supposed to get a little stronger until later this evening.

Fire whistles are going off constantly and people that still had electric through the storm as losing it now..... due to the wind and trees still falling from it.

I had a friend stay here over night the area he lives is all flooded....... it looked like his street might be ok from watching the area on TV however he may not have electric he just left to go see if he can get in there to see what's happening and if he has any water damage inside.

I don't think this storm is something that needs to be made into a conspiracy about what the government might be doing. It is always safer to move people out you never know.

I actually believe they are doing a good job ...which is unusual for me to say.

Thanks to all the men and women that stayed in area's to help people that might have needed it.

I stayed up till 3 watching the news ONLY because it was interesting to watch the reporters actually look defeated, they had to report on extreme rain mist and not the torrential downfall of rain in sheets, or the guy from CNN stuck in atlantic city, his report went from "The hurricane is on its way" to "no rain, nice weather, why the F did they close the casinos?" Or Geraldo OMG Geraldo made it fascinating, with his "Historic" "momentis" "Disasterous" "Extraordinary" Hurricane with clips of "The perfect storm" in between breaks, the best part of all this was when a delivery man carrying coffee strides right past him, in front of him mind you, while hes reporting "live on the bare ghost land streets of new york"
And I seen that CNN lady and the three dudes with the trunks carrying beer walk behind her, smiling and laughing, while she pretended to hold her hat on her head.
The moment when the breaking news came in about the nuclear plant going "Off line" they upped the drama by saying we have breaking news about the nuclear plant, "Um, what, ok, we have to take a break", Now that must of got the people watching nervous.
Last but not least was the CNN woman being told what to say in her ear piece, that was something.

It's two fold:

First you have the herd mentality of consumers rushing to the supermarket to buy EVERYTHING, including DVD's players for when the power goes out. (wait, what?). So it drives massives spending, close to black friday proportions.

Then you have the government evacuating towns 4 days before they even know WHERE it's going to hit. This gives them good practice for when it's time for the 'main event...'
