For the guy who cant see the video...

Right now he is lookin out at the water.. a few boats came loose from the docks and one is sinking.. according to him. the weather itself looks to be calm again, maybe light rain. Hard to tell. Hes just driving around checkin out the damage in the town. Loose hanging traffic lights, few limbs in the road... benches moved trash cans usual stuff, nothin major so far.

I have posted hourly updates in the hurricanes 2011 or what ever thread. I will continue to post updates for as long as I can.
Conditions now taking a turn for the worse. The winds are 25-30 at ground level with 40-55 mph gusts. Rain though still not heavy is quite steady and wind driven. Remainder of updates will be in the Hurricane 2011 thread only.

Appreciate the update. I am back in the loop. Has been most compelling viewing at times.

Are we aware if he will actually chase Irene or is he planning to stay in the same locality.

Just lost the feed again. Most annoying

Yeah it did get hairy. Guy would not back off. Kudos to him. Overall though it has thankfully been less powerful then I expected. I am going to keep tabs on this guy and hope he continues to report in this fashion in future.

For sure. Nowhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be.. at least not where he is located, but he only got the edge of it from what i gathered, not the full force of it. so im sure some places it is bad. hopefully not though

It's a shame he can't keep it up...this was pure gold when he was running smoothly.

Glad I got to catch that part at the beach though, that was a very cool sight. It was hilarious that he was up front, and everyone else watching was 5-10 yards behind him. They were not EXTREME enough!

Whelp...

I'm back after taking a nap for a couple hours, just couldn't keep my eyes open any longer.

But now I'm up, coffee in hand, and ready to follow this cane as it moves its way along the coast...

How's our darwinian friend doing ? I've noticed the feed is off air now ?

Must admit I felt a bit silly listening to a man snoring in his car but turns out it was worth hanging around.
Was also a bit weird listening to him call his daughters but all worth while. For a 50 year old he sure has some stamina.

I think this has pretty much run its course. Sounds like he is getting a bit hacked off and is thinking of calling it a day. Too many technical issues.
