I live on eastern Long Island. Don't know anything about evacuations over here..only heard that mayor Bloomberg is still thinking about evacuating NYC. Now I'm nervous to stay but where would i really go?

Hello from Brooklyn, NY... Manhattan Beach Area... We Are doomed... live right on water... my husband is ignorant to everything so I am making the preparations myself... for some reason I am not panicking nor do I think it will be as bad as anticipated, but better be safe than sorry... I think everything is be ok.... we survived the earthquake and we will survive the hurricane

There is one thing missing in the over-all pic when you stop n think about it...jesus who is called the Christ gave many warnings...the last but not least was when they hate and kill his true believers..which hasn't happened yet..when that happens well, then the end times are here...Y'know we witness everything just like everyday people, but I don't witness all nations hating Jesus...this is what we as believers should be watching for...all of the things happening around us are just preludes to what is come..even the most inept of us can see that///

I'm confused about something. I remember hearing something in the past about when a hurricane makes landfall it weakens in strength. am I dreaming? did I hear that wrong? this thing looks like it's just gonna keep on rolling right the hell up the coast full speed ahead. something weird is going on. maybe all you conspiracy people are on to something. I hope not but this is just getting beyond weird and a lil bit scary. we're on the delaware coast and leaving in the morning. there is a storm happening right now that is viscious. the winds are fierce. it feels like some kind of warning almost or maybe I been hanging out on ATS a lil too often. I keep waiting to hear a voice saying "welcome, you have just entered the twilight zone".

To make a point: "they" did "hate and kill" his "true believers" or did you skip that part of History class?
It's like the bible is an all purpose "explanation" for anything "bad" that happens. Earthquake? End times. Hurricane? end times. Cold winter? End times. Hot summer? End times.
but that is beside the point. And one of us needs one.
Want to talk about the hurricane? By all means, please do. But if you're just going to start prosyletizing and connecting non-existent dots you should open a new thread of your own.
