Nice fearmongering... Now, take the time to go read the UN Resolution that deals with Libya. you will find that the UN resolution froze ALL libyan accounts / assets worldwide.

Sine the TNC is the recognized transitional government, they can request the UN to begnd releasing forzen funds to them for govrnment operations (and those release are heavily monitored).

Only the UN resolution can make the change to frozaen asseets.

No, its ALL assets of the Libyan government, INCLUDING Gold.

Hence all assets.

This is right up there with the threads about Washington trying to steal 110 million when in reality they sent a request to the UN to put together another resolution so modify the origional so they can release those seizde funds back to the TNC.

If countries are going to steal the gold / money / assets, why would they report it?

As I said, speculation and fearmongering based on a lack of understanding of the resolutions and subsequent directives.

Oh ok.. so you have no sources to back your claim up.. fair enough..

The US got permission to invade Iraq from the US Congress, not the UN. We took our case to the UN on the WMD argument (which wikileaks confirmed later on that a wmd program was present).

However, the UN is not in control of Iraq as you claim. Since the UN has NO standing military, instead relying on the militares of member nations for peace keeping / UN missions, your argument fails on that alone.

So yeah, its one thing to come in and make claims that arent backed up by anything but blogs. Its another to make claims that arent back up by anything other than you posting U.N. as your answer.

If thats all you got... oh well..
