Jesus Christ qualifies as the messiah as he fulfilled nearly all of the scriptures in the old testament. The only scriptures yet to be fulfilled
concern the future and will be fulfilled when he returns as Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
ISA 45:23 By myself I have sworn,
my mouth has uttered in all integrity
a word that will not be revoked:
Before me every knee will bow;
by me every tongue will swear.
ISA 45:24 They will say of me, `In the LORD alone
are righteousness and strength.' "
All who have raged against him
will come to him and be put to shame.
How do we know that the bible is accurate today and has not changed over time? The dead sea scrolls were discovered between 1947 and 1956 and they
date to a time before Jesus walked the earth. These findings validate that the scriptures we have today are an accurate representation of what was
written more than 2000 years ago.

The number of books compiled from the fragments of the scrolls is astonishing. The book of enoch (not considered part of the biblical canon) is
compiled 25 times from the fragments. I personally regard the book of Enoch as scripture. So does Saint Jude in the new testament.
Here are the scripture references from the old testament that prophecy of the messiah. Alongside the old testament references are the relevant new
testament references.
