Are we God? No, not even close.

Even if it was the slightest bit possible, there would be no need to post a thread on a website asking whether or not we were a god.

There is only one God, and His Son is the only way to get to Him.

So do you go to heaven by saying an affirmation one day in church asking Jesus into your heart, or do you go to heaven w/o doing that and just living like Jesus and trying to be all that he was. If you do the latter, then you are trying to be like God, and if this is your purpose, then it would be logical to assume that perhaps one day, you may become like him. I know I am. And others are aware of this too even within this forum. But we are just the ones that left this traditional upbringing to search for other truths.

He said don't concern yourself with problems outside your cognisance. (He is quite a brainy cat).

I'm not talking about just humans as being God. I'm talking about all life forms. We all are the universe experiencing the universe.

Does the creator not live through you? Are you not made in the likeness of his image? Do you not possess much of the same qualities that have been attributed to him. People strive to be like him. Omnipotent and omniscient. When you love, is that not a manifestation of the Holy spirit through you?

This is what we have been lead to believe so i can understand where you are coming from. The 'theory' of evolution has told us that we are nothing important, that life is a struggle and that it is a matter of survival. We have been told that the universe is massive and that we are a tiny speck of dust that is meaningless.
No wonder the world is in such a mess, we see it as a dumping ground, a strange place where we have no worth.

Perhaps not, we however have chosen to get a giggle or two from a subject that has the potential to erupt into yet another explosion of "I'm right and you're going to hell" comments. Nothing wrong with a few laughs here and there, makes the world a bit more bearable. *grins*I forgive you my child...

The short answer is no................ The long answer is, hell no.

The character that is seen to be me, is just an image appearing, it appears every morning when the eyes open.
Prior to the awaking (each morning) i am nothing.
I am nothing, i am the void, empty of all 'things'.

I open the eyes and the world is seen, along with an image i call myself that appears in my mirror. I look down and i see a body, i listen and i can hear a voice (thoughts apearing). All sorts of 'things' appear before me. No 'thing' can appear without me.
Me, i am the nothing that was there before i awoke, always.
The appearances are appearing to me as me.

In the beginning the was the void.
Out of the void came every 'thing'.

i was just thinking along these lines in the bathroom just now!

look, the day we take ourselves so seriously, that we can't laugh at ourselves, we are doomed as a religion, race, species and more importantly, as souls.

i can joke about god and jesus and buddah and allah.
