just 1 in 66? much lower then i thought ...


we are so heavily medicated and poisoned on a daily basis im surprised the numbers arent much higher ..

mix in electromagnetic radiation + pills + stress + depresseion + work + broke = cocktail of psychosis


just try and stay postive and keep away from the negatives as best as you can

This is but one factor in the soup, sd.

It seems the EM smog interacts with chemical pollutants, to exacerbate the deleterious affects on our well being.

Your story makes me so angry I just want to kill someone...
Need to take one of my anti anxiety pills and maybe a few antidepressants to calm down... provided they don't interfere with my blood pressure meds or Viagra!!!

I agreed with you to an extent until you said most of society's members are psychopaths. This is far from the truth. Most people are sycophants and a bit sociopathic, but this is due to various external influences, and not actual neurobiology...they have the capacity for an intact conscience.

I wonder how many of the 1 in 66 are rehabed and clean tweekers? I've met so many people who told me they have some kind of psychosis from past crystal meth use, and they get a disability check for it. I had one guy tell me that he was classified as psychotic and was paid SSDI because he used to be addicted to crystal meth and it changed his brain. I'm sorry, but I think that these particular individuals should be left to starve or shot trying to break into someones house.

Know where you'll find the greatest number of psychopaths

working for the various police departments...

we see them in the armed services too.... but they get weeded out pretty quickly...

I know you were kidding, on the other hand, I suffered for years with panic disorder and it went undiagnosed for years, I finally read a new paper article and diagnosed it myself, then I finally got the correct help.

The longer it goes untreated the less chances you have a living a normal life, it feeds on itself.

I believe drug use does change the brain chemistry.

It's in their nature to seek positions of authority. It's how their psyche is structured. Power/Control is equivalent to the high conscionable people get from being in love.

There are many psychopaths as police officers, but I've also found a lot of good cops as well.

The prototypical army general is a high-functioning, and intelligent psychopath, it seems.

How many people get psychosis as a gift from their military service? I was an an outgoing and productive member of our society before I joined the military. I also had a very productive military career until I was met by an incident that changed my physical and mental condition for the worse. Now, I'm just a disgruntled hater most of the time, despite trying not to be.

i have no prescription, but i see the damage done.

once diagnosed and certified, any problem is due to medication.
adjust the meds, change the meds, it's the meds fault.

the part i don't like is the lack of individual responsibility.
your moods, actions, are in the hands of the meds.

fake a crisis, like suicidal tendencies, and our medical service is at your disposal.
your government benefits forever, whether a child or adult.

without individual responsability, how can you run your life?

There's no doubt about that. I read about it in biochemistry courses, but more importantly I have seen these people. When I first met the those I spoke of, I thought they were schizo-affective or schizophrenic, but would later learn what happened to them.

The Military sucks when it come to separation of its troops..
Slam Bang, thank you man... all without the courtesy of a reach around...

Still what we choose to do with our lives afterwards how to harness that pent-up energy that is the real key...
Right now I work for the States Vocational Rehab division...
Mostly I help disabled people go to school and or start their own small business....

Yeah I hear ya and I too have my bad days where trust me, I can be a real SOB...
but thankfully I got good people around me to tell me when to chill...
