About half way into my walk I was confronted by about 8 Muslim men who told me "You can't drink round here, throw it away or face Allah's wrath!". Thinking one beer wasn't worth a beating I put the beer down and carried on my journey.

Now, reading the article above, it makes me think, "if non-extreme Muslim areas are willing to implement this, then what about the extreme areas?".

“This will mean this is an area where the Muslim community will not tolerate drugs, alcohol, pornography, gambling, usury, free mixing between the sexes – the fruits if you like of Western civilisation.

“This will be a very heavy leafleting campaign aimed at both the Muslim and non-Muslim community in terms of what the Sharia means economically, socially and politically.

“Waltham Forest, including Walthamstow and Leyton, will also be targeted with a march.

“We want to run the area as a Sharia-controlled zone and really to put the seeds down for an Islamic Emirate in the long term.

Oh, I have seen stories of lawsuits here for people speaking out against them as well. At this point, though, anyone can sue for anything. You are right, though - theocracy, not religion. I think that it should be outlawed, as it's against freedom.

Who's rights are being infinged? The people who have lived in a nation for generation upon generation, living the lives of thier fathers and fathers before them, or the ignorant, self-righteous, whiners who are subtly invading?

And of course, this is known as "calling it what it is" which is also equivilent to "bigoted ass".

I assume you're leaning more towards the nationalist argument? They haven't lived there for generation upon generation, they were born there within, at most, the last 120 years - depending on how old they are. Who cares about their forefathers? Non-Muslim British people go over to Muslim countries and complain about not being able to drink or eat in public in Ramadan - it's up to everyone else to say 'too bad'.

Edit: And once again, the non-Muslims who do complain are in the minority.. just as the Muslims who complain in the UK are.

The issue that I have is that this loud minority, and they get their way with no reprive.

I am a loyalist to the Crown, and believe that those who live in the UK should abide by the laws of the land and crown, not of thier own desire. It is not a right to live there, it is a privilage, and if you have any respect for the gift of allowing you to live on that land, you should follow their law.

You need to see this video because it was on yesterday and behind your very backs this is will happen across Europe.

This will happen at the Ground Zero Mosque too where next they want Sharia based laws in that area, this is not fear but fact.

With the recent riots in LONDON they will use this as an excuse to use parts of Sharia Law to take control and even let it happen, this is so obvious and set up, pity people don't read the Bible because your pattern of knowledge between good and evil will be a great advantage in seeing the dangers ahead because history repeats it self.
