UK Gets First "Sharia Controlled Zone".

And its going to be done with stickers

HARDCORE Islamists have vowed to ban booze and mixing between the sexes in new Sharia law enforcement zones across the UK.

The move will see specific areas flooded with thousands of stickers saying “no gambling”, “no music or concerts”, “no porn or prostitution” and “no drugs or smoking”.

Although one must find it hard to take this seriously, this is indeed quite a threat to British moral. For example; A few weeks ago, after finishing work I decided to walk home. On my journey I stopped and thought "you know what, I've worked hard. I'll buy meself a beer!". So I brought a bottle of Bud. My route home takes me through a highly Muslim populated area.

About half way into my walk I was confronted by about 8 Muslim men who told me "You can't drink round here, throw it away or face Allah's wrath!". Thinking one beer wasn't worth a beating I put the beer down and carried on my journey.

Now, reading the article above, it makes me think, "if non-extreme Muslim areas are willing to implement this, then what about the extreme areas?".

“This will mean this is an area where the Muslim community will not tolerate drugs, alcohol, pornography, gambling, usury, free mixing between the sexes – the fruits if you like of Western civilisation.

“This will be a very heavy leafleting campaign aimed at both the Muslim and non-Muslim community in terms of what the Sharia means economically, socially and politically.

“Waltham Forest, including Walthamstow and Leyton, will also be targeted with a march.

“We want to run the area as a Sharia-controlled zone and really to put the seeds down for an Islamic Emirate in the long term.

Not necessarily.

There must be law against this type of thing. Saying that the government would proberly lay down and take it. I guess its up to us.

Your thread title is misleading, to say the least.

A group of knuckle-draggers who put ''blacks out'' or ''no gays here'' stickers on lamp-posts would not lead to a headline stating: ''UK gets first anti-gay controlled zone'' or ''UK gets first anti-black controlled zone''.

Stop buying into this fear-ridden, anti-Muslim propaganda.

Funny enough i read a story about this in the local newspaper.

My local paper covers waltham forest and epping forest. There was a story about a community fun day. Women were told they HAD to cover their shoulders or face being evicted.

The local council denied this was a community event and said as it was private the organisers were allowed to make their own rules. Problem is....it was funded by the local council, it wasnt a PRIVATE event.

Its disgusting, its only a matter of time before we are bowing down to yet another religion in our crappy island!!!

If a muslim ever tells you something like this again tell them : under islamic law they must respect your religion or no religion and have no right to be telling you what you can and cant do.

It seems to I that TPTB are encouraging friction between religions, specifically Christians Vs Muslims in the U.K., however, paradoxically, they also appear to be attempting to discredit religion in general.

I think you did the right thing in your submission. Not because they have any right to threaten you but because fighting is what is expected of you and it is this pressure that one must combat.

Although I agree that the article is propaganda, the fact of the matter its is real and I and many others have experienced it first hand. The problem is that a lot of Muslim areas are taking it upon themselves to impose Sharia law in a free and open society.

Its an issue that must be addressed.

After reading your thread and checking the links, I have no choice but to wonder if this is just another hate thread. First off, the links you provided are questionable and laughable at best. If this group really exists, they won't get very far. The Star article almost seemed like satire. I am not from the UK so perhaps I shouldn't judge, but I see a lot of anti muslim sentiment from the UK here on ATS. I hate to say it, but it almost seems like an anti muslim group created the other website as a smear campaign against UK area muslims. This thread is sure to get interesting. Time to sit back and enjoy the show LOL.

This is disgusting. I have seen also seen heard about this kind of thing happening to a work colleague in Manchester. It makes me glad I am moving my family back to the states. Things like that wouldn't be tolerated here. Unfortunately, it is allowed to happen in England and the government should be up in arms about any group hounding people and pushing their beliefs.

This is not something common in the UK before people start assuming because the OP let them walk over him that others do so in this country. The area is not controlled, they are putting out leaflets? If it is made out to sound like a "controlled area" I guess the OP will save some pride but in reality all I see in the OP is people handing out leaflets and a story of a beer he threw away because he was told to. No offence.

a couple of yrs ago an old friend of mine
started spraying bnp on a building that he knew were employing illeagle immigrants in a sewing factory
the slogan was removed next day but foreign writing graffiti next to it was left
3 nights later he did it again,and next day it was removed
no to be put of my friend does it again 2 nights later
next day factory was closed down
im not condoneing it but its a start
btw he knows every camera and angle in the whole area
