Hey brothers in Argentina thanks for the updates there is nothing like hearing it from source. We are not hearing much from mainstream media I guess you know about the other volcanos which have blown. I had a closer look at your region on google earth it looks a beautiful place. The volcano is massive though the hole in the top is huge! I hope where lava would flow has been evacuated , The worst I can see happening there is the whole thing just blowup towards the south east like Mt St Helens did. Some of the areas there resemble east africa )nabro region ) : one giant solidified spread of lava. Magma doesnt sound good does it?
Look at this link because we think this incoming comet (could be large) might already be causing these many disturbances." err on the side of caution " is an english phrase : best wishes

Well, for now things have "calmed down" and the change of winds has given us time to breath.
From Chile's National Weather Direction:

DIRECCIÓN GENERAL DE AERONÁUTICA CIVIL
DIRECCIÓN METEOROLÓGICA DE CHILE
CENTRO NACIONAL DE ANÁLISIS
AVISO METEOROLÓGICO, SÁBADO 25 DE JUNIO 19:10 HRS
DESPLAZAMIENTO ESTIMADO DE LA PLUMA VOLCÁNICA CORDÓN CAULLE.
DURANTE LA JORNADA MATINAL DEL DOMINGO 25 DE JUNIO, SE PREVÉ QUE
LA PLUMA DE CENIZA VOLCÁNICA SE INCLINE HACIA EL NOROESTE,
AFECTANDO LAS REGIONES DE LOS RÍOS, LA ARAUCANÍA Y DEL BIOBIO,
PARA LUEGO PROYECTARSE SOBRE EL OCÉANO PACÍFICO.

Rough translation:

Estimate displacement of the Cordon-Caulle Volcanic Ash plume.
For the morning of this next sunday (06/25), it is forecast that the volcanic ash
plume will turn northwest, affecting the regions of Los Rios, La Araucanía and
El Biobio, following then towards the pacific ocean.

So, luckily for us the winds keep flowing NW right into the Pacific.

Here's a fairly recent map of the region:

That's all for now.
bye.

Its always good to know more. An unusual and sudden heatwave is happening here in england, again this year.
I wanted to ask : is a continuing NW wind blowing into the pacific normal behaviour of the weather at periods in your region?
Since we were talking about the title of this op : ash plume encircles the world : towards Australia the other way that is :
how come it is now reversed?

Well I was asking myself the same question.
It seems a little research is due.
sigh...

According to this image:

(Source)
this must be a temporal condition as most winds seem to blow east.
Damn...

The ash is carried to Australia by the jet stream

A good animation of the southern jet here:

squall.sfsu.edu...

I think the ash cloud has now encircled the world at least twice?
