A serious question for those who are about to revolt..

There are many posts and threads proposing revolution, a dismantling of the current system, of overthrowing those deemed to have held power and created the current crisis..

Every protest I've attended in the past, and every protest of recent has been full of demands of "No to X" "Down with Y" or "We are against Z"...but never any kind of sensible, workable, practical alternative.

So what are the detailed proposals for an alternative to the current economic and social system?

Are there any?

Or is it just peaple waking up from the economic-boom party and realising that it's over, the hangover has just begun to hurt, and someone must be blamed for the pain?

French people.

All those foreigners were allowed in for these reasons:

-for you to make money off of
-to thin them out from their own country
-so you can brainwash some of them and use them against their home country
-to eventually get rid of them

If you have anything to be mad about it should be that Taiwan Court saying France owes almost $1 Billion over that bribery scandal where Taiwan bought some military Frigates and are mad some of their people were bribed.

You should be mad as heck at Taiwan right now. You now owe them alot of money for nothing.

Well, I'll be watching the news to hear about your efforts.

But in my opinion, the young people in France should spend some time in other countries and find out just how good it is in this country! I purposely sent each of my kids to live in the US for a year (of course they had their heads filled with images of the american dream.) I stayed silent and said you go see, you judge for yourself.

The grass always seems greener on the other side of the pond. I am very skeptical of all of these revolutions. Iran had one and now all they have for leadership is a bunch of religious crack pots. The same is about to come true in Egypt. My advice is not to listen to the Obama regime and their fellow communists that is pushing for all this nonsense. It isn't working out. It drives otherwise useful countries into further desperation.

Get over yourself. No one cares about your pathetic rebellion. Try working hard, educating yourself, puting in overtime, working two jobs if need be. Ask for additional tasks at work, continue to push yourself and the others around you. That is how 95% of those elite, got where they are today. People like you just want to come in an take what you havent earned. There is a word in America for people like you. LAZY. Wake up and smell the coffee. Nothing in this life is free. Everything must be earned. Get use to it or move to Somalia. See how you like it there with all the warlords if you are so badly done to.

Thats not a revolution, thats a rabble.

Thats mainly leftist middle class students chanting liberal / left slogans and their Islamist allies.

They are marching alongside people demanding sharia law and mass immigration, as a prelude to Islamic colonisation and the eventual 'cleansing' of the French people from their own cities, communities and country by Islamist criminals and Islamist militia's.

They are not defending the values of the Republic - they are demanding the death of the Republic and its values of nationhood, citizenship, democracy, equality, fraternity and liberty.

They are not the forces of revolution, they are the liberal / left forces of media conditioning and liberal educational propaganda.

They are the Playstation Generation - they are not the revolutionary mass that will start and win the revolution, they are the liberal / left forces of bourgeoise reaction.

Who in their right mind would want the failure of neo-liberal capitalist socialism to usher in the era of neo-liberal socialist capitalism !

National Revolution, not bourgeoise reaction !

I have one question for our revolutionaries. What alternative do you propose? I want to know if you know where exactly are the problems with our current system and how to fix them, or you just cluelessly follow some left anarchist utopia which offers no real solution, only further deterioration and maybe even bloodshed down the line.

So, imagine the revolution is over, old government system dissolved and you as revolutionary leaders got to lead your country. What exactly will you do?

Originally posted by hawkiyeWhat you left wing Marxists fail to realize Is you cannot have a government controlled free market they are a contradiction in terms. The monstrosity you describe would not exist in a free market because people would be free to vote with thier wallets and feet and take thier business else where and businesses that did not provide a good product or service would go out of business without government protection or bailouts etc. Market regulation in the name of consumer protection is nothing more then protectionism for the politically connected big business.
I'm a socialist, but I realize that's still a bad word. I agree, government should let the free market flounder on its own. However, government should go into the business of necessities. If government then fails at providing for its people, it fails under the rules that people demand. However, the former hunter gathers demand these rules because the minority who benefit from them have the money to fuel the propaganda machine.

Revolution - a turn around.

The best revolution is a return to principles. In the US our principles are documented in the constitution and the bill of rights. Each country has it's own time-proven documents of principles.

Over time we've had many politicians and academics with agendas and corrupted principles. They've done their best to establish laws and regulations to weaken our principles in order to 'tilt the scales' towards the selfish interests of the little groups they favor. This has transformed our consultative government to an overbearing burden on our backs. The government of the people gained a bureaucratic life of it's own and is no longer of the people.

Hopefully your immigration problem is not as bad as it is of the US. France gave us the statue of liberty (light bearer, illuminati, lucifer) and didn't do us a favor by embedding the statement, "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me. I lift my lamp beside the golden door."

Your citizens need to overthrow your politicians, they're the ones who created the laws and agencies that take your liberties. You need to take time to undo the damage the politicians have done to your country. Return to principles, win your country back. That's what we need to do in the USA.

Well pitchdragon I do wish you good luck, and that you do it for the right cause above all!

If you're from France as I presume, you've got one of the well-protected Police State in the Western world, so you'd better go all the way. This isn't the first popular uprising that happens there. There's been a few in the recent years, as well as in the "60-'70s, and before that in the 19th century.

One thing's for sure, the Republic in France, like the US, has been crushed by traitors in the establishment, and something concrete has to be done about it.

The revolutionary here (the OP) is not against the problems of immigration.

The present government and president have been attempting to deal with the problem of immigration (stopping illegal immigrants from entering, and even kicking them out of the country). This is why we voted this adminstration in.

The people who want to overthrow this administration are against that. The left wing socialists think it is very very wrong and we should welcome warmly all immigrants and provide them shelter (food, medical care, cable tv..) with or without legal papers.
