I read the entire post. I quoted the highlight that stuck out. This is not what confirmation bias is. This is me commenting on one of the saddest things I have seen written on a forum in a long time. this whole topic is just getting boring now going over the same arguments in everyone of the threads that have been made about him. The government are obviously aware of all this and don't care and niether should you. He's a hell of a lot more competent than Bush ever was so thats a good thing.

Obama is a good guy and is more than capable of doing a good job in the Whitehouse. Your country is so huge and full of people. They are not all going to want the same man in charge.

The rules around your presidency are a joke anyway, like you can only be president for two terms...Well if your doing a good job who cares how long you are president for!

Cervantes-Nava . 281 F.3d) Required the U.S. citizen parent to have resided in the United States for ten (10) years, five (5) of which were after the age of fourteen (14). Obama's mother was only eightteen (18) years old when Obama was born in Kenya.
Also when Obama was adopted by his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro, and moved to Indonesia...Obama became a citizen of that country...because Indonesia did not except dual citizenship..WAS the same Constitutionial Law for the POUS job!!

No, that's not how it works. How it works is like this - the president has the same rights to privacy that even you do - whether you consider yourself a citizen anymore or not. You don't have the right to demand anything of Obama, or me, or anyone else - get used to this idea...

The "Birther" challenge to Obama's "eligibility" is a response to the public discovering his "unsuitability" very late in the game.

Obama was born in the United States, so the age of the parents is a non-factor in determining one’s citizenship or natural born citizenship status.

Running for public office makes one a public figure.

You are, somewhat, correct that public figures have a lesser expectation of privacy, but, legally, that only means you have a relatively tougher standard to prove when suing someone for defamation or invasion of privacy.

This may shock you but the Constitution doesn’t say one must have “an impeccable character” to be President.

Those sort of ‘qualifications’ are left to the democratic process to address. If the American people feel that Obama doesn’t have “an impeccable character” and that is a determining factor for them, then they can vote for some other candidate in 2012.
