If you had made this thread generally I would not have said a thing. But you were personally attacking me. I don't know that you have ever posted anything on any of my threads, Which I didn't know we had a limit. I have 8 years of college, worked for the government most of my life. My childern and grandchildern, have been in the military, are in there now. I really can't believe that people on here really believe that the FBI went to the expenses and time to put about 5,000 UFO files in Classified and Top Secret, and you all say they Hoaxed them. My granddaughter is a paratrooper in the Army, she is an abductee, She always called them the little white doctors. All of us abductees have suffered greatly because the truth has been hidden from the public, Not because of the UFO experience, I wouldn't trade that for anything in this world, I have had the greatest adventure you can't even imagine. But it has been people and family members, friends that don't know and their sometimes cruel attitudes.

They are not to be afraid of in the UFOs, but there are some earth bound ones that are really Bad

You, me or anyone can't just put "Invasion is here" in a thread title and expect to get away with it unless there is an actual invasion, under way. This isn't a newspaper. Your thread titles don't need to use false information just to pull in readers. Yes, I agree, there may be a fleet in that video by NASA, but "Invasion is here" is just poor, poor wording. From the offset, that poor wording (you chose) has sparked this debate which you now feel entitled to fuel. Did you not think about changing the title of your thread? You don't seem interested in doing that, so you have to understand you are committing something many of the UFO forumers hate - disinformation. On top of which, stubbornness.

As for the OP (of THIS thread), I agree - but not specifically on that point you make. I think folks should stop with that headline for the simple fact, if there is a proper invasion or fleet, we'd know about it - yet it always comes in the form of one youtube video, or an article from some crap foreign news website with more google ads on it than news.

"Comet Elenin to cause Pole Shift." No one has complained at all about them. I didn't say they were coming to kill everybody. For those who are going into threads and simply, posting one liners and don't even bother to question the legitimacy of the supposed evidence presented, you're simply Ignorant, and by that you are NOT DENYING IGNORANCE.

Completely in agreement. Accurate thread titles should go beyond UFO forum.

From the ones I read, "Japan Nuclear Plant Explodes" really did happen, with the roof blowing off, and subsequent loss of control that is ongoing not for just one plant that the title implies, but for multiple ones which are in trouble. Is "explosion" really inaccurate? No, it's an adequate summary for point form. To me it certainly does not imply "entire plant exploded, vaporized, nuclear waste covers all of Japan."

I see nothing out of place with "Nuclear Jet Stream North America." I've inhaled enough radiation from Chernobyl to know radiation does spread in the air, and the officials kept quiet about it until all of Europe had to stand up and politely say "what the !!! " and would certainly want to stay indoors if this were true once again.

"Pole Shift March 15 th." is another (failed) prediction thread. How else can one predict without dates. At least whoever puts out the predictions is proposing something that can be verified or disproved. Some people predict, some people see UFOs, etc.

These are examples to show that accuracy is actually possible in thread titles. The title can and should reflect the content.

Three points of view of the same video.

Debunker's claim: Swamp gas, flares and Venus. Could be CGI.

Tinfoil hat crowd: Alien invasion force bent on enslaving the human race for their own nefarious purposes.

Normal believers: Unidentified Flying Object, no intent can be assumed because as of yet we have no idea what they are!

How do you know this is an invasion force? What is your reasoning behind such an extreme assertion? Where is your proof? And please do not redirect me to a youtube video from Camelot studios, that is NOT proof of anything.

I have no problem with you posting a thread of a UFO video, my issue is with you attaching an assertion about the intentions of UFO's without some type of proof other than a video showing meandering lights in the sky.

Agree with common sense response. No point in speculating on intent before knowing what the UFO is. If it was for real they could just be planning to attend a wedding by invitation. Who knows!

You've also confused me - making out you've read something I haven't? Again, let me explain how I saw it.

Person B (cgts428) agreed with person A.
Person C (Coolottie) went mental at Person B for agreeing with Person A.
Person D (Me) considered this to be "bitchy".

If I feel the things I'm reading are being written poorly or the person is just a bit of a douche who can't keep their mouth shut and thinks the world needs to listen to their opinionated tripe - I will make note of that in my replies.

And that's the problem with the UFO forum. 40% are well written, thought out and interesting threads, the other 60% are peoples ideas, peoples attempts at sparking debate. I can totally understand when people get miffed that all they're reading are people's own interpretations of things going on and not being clear about it. And in this instance, I agree with the OP. I too hate threads and videos entitled "INVASION" of some kind. If there's an invasion I'll see it out my window and probably be running for the hills.

You mention "if you don't like the title then move on", yet you forget to address this issue: What happens if we like the title of a thread and read it, only to find the title didn't reflect the content of the thread whatsoever. If we're mislead are you saying we should not do anything, and just allow it to continue to happen?

Coolottie is a trigger happy eccentric, nothing more. You only have to look to see she needed three separate replies to reply to my one post and that's not something someone who is thinking things through does. I've been here long enough to have a pretty good grasp of the rubbish she & others write on here. Some people's posts I skip immediately because I'm well aware they write nothing but crap. I came to this thread to agree with the OP, and then realised my reply was going to fall underneath someone who made a thread with the title the OP is arguing against - and so reading her cockamamie replies inspired me to tell her to chill the heck out.

As with the real world, sometimes your reputation can precede you and that's exactly the case on display here. I was foolish enough to NOT realize she instigated that thread in the UFO forum. If people like me, and the OP, and a few others in this thread don't speak up - we'll be forever inundated with stupid, poorly described posts on the board. Is that what you want?

I came here to rant, which is what I'm doing - and I'm trying not to get personal. The person in question could be absolutely anyone. I'm basing this on their behavior that I'm learning through their posts - not by who they are or if they offend me personally etc. I often get points deducted and I'm sure I WILL be banned. But to be fair, I'm glad I stood up for a good point made by the OP. Someone has too. The problem will always re-occur but those doing it who aren't first time posters have the ability to adapt. Problem is, that person is making a meal over this situation - and now I am - and don't want to be. But it does need to be said, that some folks do post a lot of tripe and seem to have no inkling of just how poorly orchestrated some of it can be.

Furthermore, to add insult to injury - she's trying to continue the discussion from the thread in question in THIS thread, re-posting the videos like we care - which is completely noobish and sad. People may well be 60 going on 100 on this forum but by god that doesn't make them any better at delivering thoughtful, intelligent posts.

Your Rant is a personal attack on me, more than even my thread. I know for a fact the Aliens are all over the planet in large numbers and have known for years they would come to help us and so has our military and government. If I had said that you would have really just made a laughting stock out of me. I am not some kid and I have been waiting for this for years and so happy about it. People said "Ice Crystal" so I found a NASA site showing that they grew ice crystal inside the shuttles to see what designs they would make. If there were ice crystals up there already even if coming from the shuttle they would not have to grow them inside just grab some in the cargo bay.

Not one soul went to that website to even read it. The one that did, didn't read it. One kept saying it was the shuttle that was dumping water. They had no proof what so ever that they were dumping water. The posts said all kind of things without any proof at all, and they said exactly the samething in my only other ufo thread. I got upset when it was pointed out someone thread was a thread about me and my thread. Yes I got really upset. I was picked out of all the threads on the ATS, and this person did not even go on the site and post a comment. There is this thing called U2U. I care about this earth and all the people on it. I know that the Government is not going to tell people anything, I wrote a book about what is happening now and the samething happened, 4,670 years ago the earth went off its axis, 23.7 degrees and I proved it and now it is happening again and has been since 2007.

Well, the FBI took my book, All things pretaining to anything coming toward the earth was classified. I did get locked up for trying to tell people, because I have a clearence. Now I am still trying to tell and give some warning without getting into anymore trouble. Now if I had told you that you would have just laughted and try to humiliate me. You do not know me personally, yet you put such harsh judgement on me. And have in no way proved me wrong and neither did anyone else. Oh, I have been told many times I would be wasting my breath tying to warn people, that now one would believe me. So they were right about that. I will not try to post anymore threads but I will be posting, you can count on that.
