Can we stop with all the 'Massive Alien UFO FLeet Above Earth!' etc threads and exagerations, does

I don't just see this happening with UFO threads. It happens with most of the topics. There is that much BS being sifted through this site at the moment, it is very hard to try and work anything out. Actually not just this site, the whole friggin internet.

Can please pay attention to my point which is that I enjoy these said discussions, but the fact that people are not presenting evidence or reasoning why and blindly believing is harmful to the cause. Also whenever anyone questions these claims they are met with anger. Why is asking for some evidence or reasoning to how you came to a conclusion s unreasonable?

your right, tthe reason I picked the UFO forum thugh is that I enjoy a lot of related stuff, but I want it to be taken more seriously by the average person and it wont be while people are just jumping the gun all the time

Thats what I want! Myh gripe isnt with all these in general! Just the ones where people offer no debate or analysis and just jump to he conclusion!

I didnt say everything. See this is what I hate, just because I don't believe every single sighting I get treated like I don't believe at all! In the said video I even said there ARE UFOS but the main body of objects are not! The main group of objects do NOT change direction or do anything intelligent. There are a few individual objects of interest that IMO are UFOs. Why can't you accept that not every single thing in space is a UFO??! and why cant you accept that some peiople can believe in UFOs while not believing some data? Since when did believing in UFOs mean that you have to believe every single video without question?

Like I said I dont want to repeat what has been said elsewhere. The video has been posted many times and I would prefer people to just look back at that. I didnt make this thread to debunk that vid, I believe there ARE UFOs there. I just used this as an example thats all to make my point.

It is ridiculous that people from the UFO forum dont seem able to accept that it is possible to believe in some sightings and not others or even in a video tha some objects are not genuine ufos while others are

Please read what I have written it seems like you have only read the thread title. The reason I am bothered is that I want UFO's and other issues taken seriously by the public and sensationalising every single bit of supposed footage will do the exact opposite. I think its important to make more people aware, but when a skeptical person sees people trying desperately to blow things out of proportion they will cease to be interested and not take the issue seriously.

and I would like to thank you as well for contributing a different viewpoint in a polite and reasonable manor, it is a lot nicer to deal with than people who are irritated by a different viewpoint, but hey thats what makes us human. You are right some people will never be convinced no matter how much evidence which is sad, but im mainly concerned with people like myself who never could imagine themseleves believing, but was convinced after seeing a large enough amount of evidence thay I couldn't explain. So I want to keep the information presented as legitimately as possible so that these kinds of people take it more seriously.

Again thank you for being so pleasent, even with totally different opinions I don't see why we can't be so polite and it makes the forum a lot more friendly. Please comment on any of my threats or posts anytime, you'll always be more than welcome!

Asking for proof is sort of a cop out here I think.

As far as I see it, Yes the OP has to provide facts, but to call for them to show proof and if they don't this is not a debunking.

If you want proof you should ask for it nicely and not in a snide manner. This would show your open to discussion.

But if you want to disprove something, it is up to you to find that information to do so.

If you claim that the OP hasn't brought any evidence to the table and debunk it or dismiss it from there you are as bad as the OP.

I have tried to mature as I post here and I think I'm starting to get better at it. (some days) If I don't believe in something I try to find info on why I don't believe it. I think that having things here to disprove is half the fun.

If I can't find any proof against it and still don't believe it I ignore it, as I can not bring any useful discussion to the topic and will rate my posts myself as just having a whinge.

Practically everybody involved in concrete evidential research including the disclosure project and Michio Kaku accept that 95% of UFO's can be explained and only 5% are considered real unexplainable UFO's. Having said that not all UFO's are clearly distinguishable as real or not at first glance or first review. However, some so called UFO's are so clearly fakes and so ridiculous that they dont merit a test of ones common sense. Only through rational and logical common sense deduction and reasoning will the truth eventually be disclosed.

Im not a sceptic!! And do feel that the amount of UFO crap that is posted on the internet deflects away from the real substance of UFO phenomena and its ultimate disclosure by the powers that be!

By proof I dont mean physical evidence I mean for example in the ice particle video for example the 99% of the objects are moving very naturally, I am interested in the 1% that are not. But it is frustrating that people jump the gun an claim that all the objects are UFO's when there is no reason at all to come to this conclusion, let alone the fact that there are far more interesting objects elsewhere in the video.

Like I said though I am not trying to de-bunk the video, just raise the point that people who jump tp the most fantastic. If the video showed an object on its own darting about in space changing direction then obviously little explantation is needed. But saying 'massive UFO fleet' then showing a video of a load of objects moving naturally through space, not changing direction just like anything would naturally move in space, this would obviously require come kind of explanatin and I don't think thats unreasonable.
