Before I start my practicing, I just wanted to state a youtube-embedding problem, that I occasionally come across. Sometimes I will get the
empty gray video box (<< such as this one on page 1). I haven't seen this
mentioned in this thread. Sorry if I missed it.
Anyways, I always preview 1st, to make sure if it is embedded correctly or not before posting. Some videos already have this in the URL, and some do
not.
If it is in the URL as this-
www.youtube.com...giaZnIr-faM and comes up as an empty box, I add this to the video code-
"&feature=related"
which makes it exactly like this - " giaZnIr-faM&feature=related " - and it will work.
practice #1 is the strike. I've wanted to know how to do this for awhile
I'm silly lol. I have, a few times, used this ----------- or _ _ _ ______ to place dividing lines in a comment. It is much easier to just type [ m o
r e ] (no spaces of course)
'resize with BBCode' test
Now .gif testing time. I have never known how to do these.
direct from photobucket-
saved into ATS media-
I think I've got it.

I just have to make sure I save it the right way. I think that was my problem before.

Thank you for posting that link to Loam's BBCode thread. There are many things in there, that I have been curious about for awhile.
and Thank you Mutant for starting this thread.
edit- Hmmm. The 'direct from photobucket' gif, didn't work in my preview.
It gave me a- 'Image has been deleted or removed', glad to see it did work, but curious why it did'nt work in my preview.
Edit #2- and now, a couple hours later, the 'direct from photobucket' gif is gone again.
