Solar Activity Watch 2011

I heard on C2C last night that solar activity is ramping up intensely on the other side of the sun, but that by the time it gets explosive it *the sunspots* would probably be facing earth and pose a very serious threat to us. I just caught the very end of the discussion but it could have been Whitley Strieber from Unknown Country talking.

STEREO B shows us what's coming.

Some activity showing on the other side of the Sun. I wouldn't call it intense. It will be rotating into view in 9 or 10 days. It may increase, maintain, or decrease in activity during that period of time.

I read there is only about 5% chance we would get a direct hit from a CME.
I look at it like a giant roulette wheel. We are way over here 93,000,000 miles away as say
number black 17. We could get hit. It happened September 1859.
They say that history does repeat itself. Thanks to the SDO we will see it coming.
We will also know if the suns south magnetic pole is pointing down.

Why do I get the feeling I am on a roller coaster going "Whoooaahhh" as I near the top of the ridge? The plummet and descent is going to be either fantastic or deadly as I sit in the NMFZ.

I realize that for specialists trained to look at one certain point of scientific data, it can be almost ho hum, but those of us with an eye for the abstract, the sublime, I have to say 'everything' seems to be jumping out at us all at once and only becoming more intensified by the day.

Thank you for your response, now honestly was there any truth to the fear mongering being done by C2C on the possibility for a sudden and alarming scenario happening from this? Anything from a cosmic disruption to earth quakes or tsunamis?

Nothing seems to surprise me these days.

Lets see, what was the last % a couple weeks ago? I know we have seen a tremendous amount of weather related anomalies, the storms of a century, earth quakes where they have never been before, animal die offs, asteroid's passing through without more than a slight warning to us, so is 5% significant? If history repeats itself we stand to be blown back into the stone age from where we sit technologically compared to back then.

So I have been following you guys for some time now and in 'light' of the recent activity on the sun yesterday decided to post.

I believe, or rather I feel that this one indeed could have a big impact on our earth. Not just the electronics but our brains. I am willing to bet most of not all of you have been feeling....different lately. And you may know more about this then I do. But to put is the simplest way I know how is that this solar radiation is altering our DNA. It's activating the so called 'junk DNA' that has lay dormant for many thousands of years. There are those that are trying to keep this 'awakening' from happening. All I can say, is "focus" on the reality you wish to create, replace fear with love and compassion. Let the old slide by and be as the water. There is the truth and then there is the Truth, only our inner knowing will bring us as individuals through this time of great change. And as we grow stronger in our individuality we grow stronger to support the community. Beware the man who says be of one mind, no....I say be yourself and lift a brother up when down. Find your own energy, as it is unique to you and you alone, together we will become great, in the design of the One true Source, the One True God.

Nothing will stop this change, only an unwillingness to to let go will you be swept away. We are all surfers of the Zuvuya, ride the big one It's rolling in, what we feel now is in a matter of speaking our training space, physical, mentally, spiritually.

Do not buy and sell from your brothers and sisters. Only give, and in return you will be given to, share what you know and not expect anything in return, in doing so we create a continuous flow.

If you are still reading this then what I say next is the most important. The Solar radiation effects our crown Chakra, if this center is open to this solar radiation it will enter into your pineal gland, at this point a transmutation occurs and is sent to the Medulla Oblongata, (if you will balance your head on your spine, that center is the place of creation, where energy becomes reality, and we begin to create, our DNA is not just a data storage device, but also a data distribution device. In effect the solar radiation is changing us on a molecular level, our DNA is evolving.

Eat right, stay loose. Find your Higher purpose. If what I say makes no sense to you, don't turn to fear, as fear is a deadly virus that spreads faster then fire, this is exactly the purpose of current "authority" to instill fear and hinder the natural evolution of humanity.. But rather turn inward and ask the big questions.

Right on I struggle with the words sometimes, but you said it beautifully. And you were right, I am knowledgeable...but the difference between knowing and doing is that of the way of the warrior (I am reading this right now)

I do tend to get caught up in the knowing and trip and fall when I've spent to much time trying to know.

Agreed, very much on topic! These energies of our sun are indeed as old as time, old yet familiar....because in a sense we created them so so long ago and are here now to experience the fruit of our creation That's exciting!!!

Items of particular interest:

Part I.
Area: area in millionths of the Solar hemisphere. The area of the Solar hemisphere is about 3.04E12 square kilometers, so an "Area" of 500 would be about 1.5E9 square kilometers or almost 3 times the Earth's surface.

Z: the Zurich classification of the region. This gets a little bit involved, each of the three letter designation relates to a different aspect of the group. Of most interest it the first letter; E and F being the most likely to produce significant activity.

NN: the number of actual sunspots within the region

Mag Type: this is the really "meaty" part of the summary. It describes the complexity of the magnetic fields within the region. Beta-Gamma is interesting. Beta-Gamma-Delta is pretty wild. 1158 was a Beta-Gamma-Delta when it kicked out the X2.2.

These previously numbered regions which have faded, they no longer have sunspots.

Active regions which rotated out of view previously. If they are still active they will be rotating back into view within 3 days of the report. Looking at the current STEREO B image, it doesn't appear that 1150 or 1153 are still kicking.

Thank you very much for this info! I was not aware of what everything meant and this answers all of that.

And since I don't have anything to say, good or bad, in regards to the last few esoteric posts, I'll mention that the sun is very quiet once again with only a 5% chance of a M-class flare.

Well, don't forget we have the technology and the means to rebuild anything.
It sort reminds me of something an Iraqi scientist told a UN inspector " You can drop all the bombs
you want to. We have the technology."
I think in less than 5 years about 100,000 people will be living on the moon.
It might be safer up there.
There is no magnetosphere to protect us so we need to build superdomes.

The as yet unnamed region just coming into view produced an M3.5 flare this morning.

We are getting some strong winds and lightning here in the midwest, lights have been flickering, but wont it take a couple days for the effects to hit earth? An M class is not so severe right?

An M3 flare is not very strong. No effects other than a radio burst would be expected. The region which produced it has barely rotated into view. Even if there were a CME associated with the flare (apparently there was not) it would not affect us.

At 04:24 there was a CME visible from the southwest limb, apparently from the far side. Not Earth directed.

Well you know how the intensity can make some people less apt to heal and to even stop bleeding easier? That is with regular moon and solar cycles, but this is a bit more than that, but if you think it will be ok... I realize you look from the scientific side of things but I look at the unseen as well. It may seem silly to have asked you, but I knew you would tell me the truth if there was a chance of a problem from this Mclass.
