Yup, that's the code, from the very first post in this thread.

What about it?

sorry mate i just read the last few posts and i thought somebody needed the code, my bad. its amazing the whole story of the rendlesham forrest incident, it just gets more interesting as time goes by, makes me wonder how many more incidents like this occurred of a simular nature elsewhere on other military or government compounds that may have been hushed.

So much of Rendlesham is as real as it gets, and a real enigma for some of the best researchers. However, the binary incident is pure BS, created purely as an attempted ticket into the paranormal money machine. There is always someone that wants to cash in. Aliens would never communicate in ASCI binary when they could just use the standard alphabetic shortcut... why translate to something more primitive when you obviously know the alphabet in the first place?

Why would an ancient alien civilisation that are more advanced than us in every way feel the need to pass on a code in binary? If they have something to say, why not just say it?

Your binary:

meh it probably took him ten years to come up with the binary message idea and regain his fifteen minutes of fame

Sgt. Penniston spoke at the National Press Club in 2007 describing exactly what he saw on the craft. He said at the 3:35 mark of the video he saw 3” symbols, 2 ½ feet long. Wouldn’t he have said he saw numbers and not symbols if he fact he did see the binary code he now alleges? I say he’s full of it.

Here’s the video. Sorry I don’t know how to embed.

He apparently saw this binary code IN HIS MIND, not written on the craft itself.

Maybe they felt that it was the best way to communicate. Math and numbers are suppose to a "universal language." I know binary code is a computer language but maybe they know we can understand it.

How do we know they can understand English, French, or any language we speak today?
Not saying this guy is telling the truth..It's interesting though.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the whole Rendlesham Forrest incident was an excersise of the British Airforce to see how their personell would handle a UFO situation. With that said anything "discovered" about the incident is also false or made up. The man who claims to have gotten this information from the craft didnt write it down for a very long time. With nothing but ones and zeros how would he have memorized the exact number of ones and zeros and their placement within the whole?
Does anyone else remember seeing anything about this being a military operation?

P.S. For what its worth this is the case that made Nick Pope a believer !

i believe the code is true, i wrote down as much of it i could see, then found a website that showed what numbers corresponded to what letter in the alphabet, it was a very tedious process, but it spelt out exactly the message that was decoded.
so i myself have no doubt that this code is real.

Well the question is not whether the code is real or not. We know its real. The question is, where did the message come from. My vote is English => Binary => English again.

K on Google Earth, that location is in the ocean, no land nearby... however...

If these co-ordinates relate to something ancient, the land masses may have moved since then, earhs axis might have changed several times etc...

One might never know what was at these co-ordinates 10,000's of years ago..

Pretty useful to know, but proving it would require knowing when the co-ordinates were used and mappinng the Earths/Land movements since that time.

I could be wrong...its happened before (LOL) but I think that when the axis of the earth changed the whole planet shifted as a whole not the land masses or the oceans. Picture a tennis ball with a logo printed on it. Tilt the ball. Did the logo change positions on the ball or just the ball changed position in your hand? Does that make sense?
What I'm saying is the coordinates would not change with the axis of the planet.

WTC was mostly customs brokers, airfreight forwarders, ocean freight forwarders, US Customs and businesses to do with shipping from one country to another. There were banks and brokerage firms too but mostly the business there was involving shipping. (or Trade as in World Trade Center).
I mean I guess secrets like the ones you speak of could have been stored there but from what I know it was mostly just mundane shipping business.

I guess

But what does explotation mean? Define that word and we will know how much the original message is changed.
Were you perhaps thinking of exploitation? That does change the message but it adds a letter. How many more ones and zeros would be needed to add this extra letter and change the original word from exploration to exploitation.

There are two reasons i a just signed up here (although i could've sworn i had an old account

1) I just watched Ancient Aliens S02E10 where they talked about this code
2) ATS came up #1 on Google for "rendlesham binary code"

Here my opinion why this is amongst the utmost ridiculous things i came along in years of personally interested in the UFO phenomenon. Maybe, for clarification, let's start here:

A kindergarten-level computer enthusiast will usually know about binary/ASCII code, it's in fact one of the most basic things someone learns who is interested in computers.

The ASCII code is representing our alphabet into a "computer readable form", meaning each letter and symbol is assigned a numeric value so "a computer can work with it". In our example, the letter "A" eg. has the decimal value "65", but it also has an equivalent HEX value or a binary value. (The same number, just using a different number system. Eg. the equivalent binary representation of the decimal number 65 for "A" is 001000001.
(8 x ZEROs and ONEs since our computers use Bytes which are 8 BITS)...means a PC can represent a character using a Byte.

Now, needless to say the ASCII system and *what number a character has* in this system is something very specific invented by humans.

Now - it strikes me as incredible, incredible odd that alleged Aliens would use a code where they "encode" a plain English message into ASCII/Binary.

This is not a "code", but plain and simple incredible naive nonsense.

Remember when we sent the Voyager probe up we actually put a binary code on Voyager too - but to make sense for the purpose of communication with someone where we can ALLEGE they dont speak English - it must be something universally understandable like a table of elements or similar....or a universally accepted law of physics which COULD be understood anywhere in the universe. This is why WE used a binary message on the Voyager probe.

However, the alleged Rendlesham Aliens must be extraordinarily dumb since they think it would be good idea NOT to use such an universally acceptable message, but instead (obviously already capable of speaking English!)....coding the plain English message into ASCII (wonder whether they run Vista or Win7 in their UFOs?) ..and then (even better)...the Binary presentation of those ASCII codes.

* HOW ON EARTH does this make any sense?

In my opinion, with this the rendlesham case lost whatever credibility it had, OBVIOUS a giant disinformation "let's get some gullible people" campaign...disillusion / stupidity at its peak.

I wonder how that logic looks like in an attempt to reverse this....like..

"Hey, let's make a story up about some Alien encounter where the Aliens 'send a message'. But to add a little spice to it...let's make it not too easy, otherwise it would be boring. Let our "Aliens" send a "coded" binary message...[loud laughs can be heard]...but lets not make it so hard it would never be decoded. Otherwise there wouldn't be a point, would there? So...how about the glorious idea the "Aliens" encode their message into ASCII/Binary...just so that every 10 year old nerd can easily decode it. Hey - that SURELY would add spice to that story."

Low and behold - after that pre-fabricated nonsense gets the the public, the internet is buzzing with nerds and UFO buffs who managed to "Decode the Alien message!" Wow! How convenient!

If you STILL have doubts that you get fooled, disinformed by whoever made up all that nonsense for whatever purpose you have a BIG problem, seriously. And the media echoing all that doing their part by spreading this ridiculous garbage.

While this is *basically* what i am saying, it's not really the point.

The point is that i just watched this show where one alleged KEY FIGURE in this case was spouting out all that stuff, HE claimed he gotten the message, wrote it down and "hid" it for 30 years etc. blah blah.

With this, that witness (actually ALL of them) clearly immediately disqualified 100% - leaving ZERO (NULL!) credibility to him and ultimately the whole case. Case closed.

Ironically, it became already evident that "something must not be kosher" with the witness because even before saying all that nonsense he said (in the show).... "then i was running my hands over the side of the craft (...)".

Wait? You see an UFO which defies any logical explanation, something you have never seen before, with lights, weird noises "orange smoke" and whatnot....but instead of ****g your pants and freaking out you get close and "run your hands over the side of the craft" and study it, even find time to note and write down the "hieroglyphs" on the side of the craft in detail?
