Im pretty sure its your mini profile background being grey that gets people depressed and without desire to reply to you.

Might have something to do with number of active people on ATS verses threads per day...you got a 10 or so minute snapshot of time from thread creation to ether..during which time, depending on who is poking around, may or may not interest them.

I have no opinion on how you phrase things...and hell, your threadmaking is better than mine anyhow..so meh..welcome to ATS.

It's because you are rational and nice.

The only way to get a thread to run and run is to either say something unbelievably outrageous i.e. "stargates are real" or insult a large group of people i.e. "Jews are reptiles" Or you could just go over to the religious section and say something like "Muslims are Evil" that will get a response

Being nice and reasonable aint gonna get you nowhere

Well, as soon as I'm able, I will launch a new avvy that someone is creating for me as we speak...and as ATS restrictions will allow....

Your post replies average out to 15 per thread so that sounds pretty healthy to me
As mentioned timing and board congestion play a factor too, so it is not necessarily the quality or topic of your threads that draw replies.

Well you know, most or some of us can appear to look nice, cordial and respectfull, but the reality is we are still all humans typing these from plastic machines.

humans are so overrated, foul beasts.

nowadays you can get more insightfull conversations with ad-bots and spam-bots, at least those reply...

and like someone else said, you only get attention when you piss a minority or a group.

Hmmmm... I just went at looked at the threads you've started. I found the majority of them interesting, well thought out, logical. Like something if I was having a good day I might hope to start myself. Likewise, your threads seemed to quickly fall into the dustbin of ATS after a smattering of replies. Again - much like my threads usually do.

Clearly - you have been to the Frogs school of posting!!

Saturn may be on to something. Maybe we just start our threads in low traffic times. Maybe we aren't "in your face enough" with our titles or words or something. I am going to stop by your "Death Premonition And Its Result: Guilt?" thread - interesting, well thought out thread and I do have something to share there. But, it will tomorrow when I'm more awake.

Honestly - I don't see a darn thing wrong with your threads or posts. Then again mine seldom generate much traffic either.

Put a hot girl in your avatar and you will then get more replies, stars, flags and friends. I guarantee it.

Or

Copy an avatar of somebody that posts lots of threads that get big replies or somebody like phage/skeptic overlord/puterman.

I was just looking at your threads and none of them are controversial or a thread about a prediction. Go with one of those or tell everyone you are the Antichrist.
