Sheesh, you learn something new everyday..
I knew the AG was apointed, not elected by the people..
What I didn't know was this,

The Attorney General is fourth in the line of presidential succession behind the secretaries of State, Treasury and Defense.

I'm not in the US but can someone please explain why an "unelected" position is 4th in line to the Presidency??

How does that make sense??

He's not. He's actually seventh down after VP,SOTHouse, President Pro Tem of the Senate, SOState, SOTreas, SODefense.

We wake them up in steps. You can't necessarily show the whole "scheme" at once. I post a lot on health and Big Pharma issues. People aren't necessarily going to digest a whole massive "control" conspiracy. But, there is a better chance that they can grab onto the toxic Big Pharma drug conspiracy. It's something that is real to a lot of people. A lot of people do not trust the drugs. They know there are side effects. You can really hammer in something like this to someone and solidify that there is something going on. It's something they can do something about, by refusing medications they don't really need.

Some people will grab onto other things that are "real" to them. Then you build from there. Get people active in what they can digest. The whole truth will come over time. My dad won't really bite on the whole Big Pharma drug thing, despite knowing some of those drugs are really bad, because he believes to strongly in what his doctors tell him. But, you can bet he won't take some particular drugs again. He'll tell you about how bad the drugs were. It's a small chunk that he has taken hold of.

I'm really getting the "whole" control conspiracy lately. It's really hit me. It's a bit overwhelming when you look at it all at once. There are so many pieces to the puzzle. We might not dismantle everything all at once, but we can hack away at pieces. Focus on one thing, then another.

Heh, that's the question of the decade, isn't it? Firstly, I highly discourage anyone suggesting that a violent uprising is the answer. Sadly, we live in a time where peaceful protest becomes less effective by the day, but even if civil war is where things are headed (I pray they are not) most people aren't remotely ready for something like that. We all need to become political activists, every day of our lives. Start with your families and those around you (at work, in school, in your neighborhood). Become informed, and spread information. Let people know WHY they should be mad as hell, and some will start to listen. If you can make posters or fliers, hang them up in public places. Get people thinking.

THE INTERNET

One of the fastest and easiest ways to spread information. Use it before you lose it, because that day is upon us, and approaching faster than many realize.

PETITIONS/PROTESTS:

If you're a good organizer, try to rally people around a common cause and start a petition or organize a protest. If you know anyone who's on TV or has some form of local or national fame/influence focus on getting them to help. If your town has a town meeting hall, organize a town meeting, or plan to speak at your next town meeting. Pick topics that are important to people; freedom of speech, free internet, and personal privacy are all good places to start.

If you need some ideas, google "how to stage a protest".

POLITICAL GROUPS:

If you're part of ANY group, try and get them politically motivated. You'll have strength in numbers. If not, join a group or start one where you can discuss current politics. This is a good one for college students who may have a politics club at their school. See if you can get everyone to stage a protest.

RECALL OF STATE SENATORS:

Recalling a state senator is, essentially, impeaching a senator (actual impeachment only applies to the president).

If you live in any of the following states:

Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington, Wisconsin, or Washington D.C.

it is within your rights to recall your senator. This website provides a number of useful details on how to initiate this process, including grounds for recall, by state:

NCSL: Recall of State Officials

Remember, even if a recall fails, it sends a STRONG message to those in Washington that their voters are informed and unhappy with their performance.

STATES WHERE RECALLS ARE NOT ALLOWED:

The rest of us are out of luck, but you could always collect signatures from people within your state who pledge NOT to re-elect senators or representatives who refuse to listen to the voice of the people.

CONCLUSION:

These are just a few ideas, more are welcome. Alas, not all of us can drop everything and march on Washington. Most have jobs, school, or other responsibilities that prevent them from doing everything listed here. I'm just trying to finish college, but I know I've been too quiet on the issues. It is everyone's DUTY, as a citizen, to oppose the corruption that has infected our government.

If we can all try a little harder to get the message out, instead of just going to ATS and commiserating, we can only hope that others will begin to see what's really going on in the seat of power. Repetition is a powerful tool, and no one knows that more than the news media. Their fearmongering has fractured our country into pieces, turning neighbor against neighbor. This cannot continue. Rather than allowing ourselves to become infected with fear and lies, we must spread truth, and be ready to back up our claims with solid evidence. The truth is contagious, the more people that wake up, the faster it will spread.

Start small, but think big, and never let hope die, for without it we have already lost.

You're very welcome. I think that there are a number of people out there right now who know that something is wrong, but they feel powerless. We need to bring the power back into the hands of the people, and the only way to accomplish that is to educate each other on what can be done.

It's easy to say "We need to make a change" but not so easy to know how to make it, especially when elected officials refuse to represent those that elected them.

Ohh please, communism has nothing to do with this and has never been a 'threat' to anyone. Go read the manifesto for christ sake. Anyway, i think this has been building up but is still only a minority of people, i think most are still quite apathetic to the situation...but even a small percentage of angry people seem to be unsettling the government.

Really?... socialism/communism has been the cause of the murder of over 110 million people murdered, and millions more were/are inprisoned for their political ideologies which are in favor of freedom and against the socialist/communist model...

In sum the communist probably have murdered something like 110,000,000, or near two-thirds of all those killed by all governments, quasi-governments, and guerrillas from 1900 to 1987. Of course, the world total itself it shocking. It is several times the 38,000,000 battle-dead that have been killed in all this centurys international and domestic wars. Yet the probable number of murders by the Soviet Union alone--one communist country-- well surpasses this cost of war. And those murders of communist China almost equal it.

www.hawaii.edu...

But hey lefties, and even people who are not part of the left and should know better, around the world have been brainwashed into believing "socialist/communism has NEVER been a threat to anyone"...

You sir, and there are many like you, are ignorant of the facts about socialism/communism, but this has been part of the indoctrination from those who want, and have wanted to spread the socialist/communist model around the world.

communist China invaded Vietnam murdering hundreds of thousands and causing hundreds of thousands more to flee, and the left in America, and around the world, was brainwashed into believing "socialism/communism is great"... In fact the left in America and around the world were so brainwashed, and believed the lies so much that they put all the blame on the U.S., instead of blaming the communist forces and China for FORCING the socialist/communist model on the south Vietnamese...

You even had brainwashed lefties like Jane Fonda party with communist vietnamese, and even chinese forces meanwhile she tried to change the mind of other Americans, including American GIs...

For decades former Russian KGB officers, and military officers who have defected to the west were warning you that there was a plan on the making to demoralize and transform Americans and to make Americans accept socialism/communism as the answer to all the problems in the world.

These defectors clearly said that this would be done by infiltrating either KGB agents, and infiltrating people who would be friendly to the leftist/soviet propaganda in colleges/universities, and including high levels of government positions...

video.google.com...#

video.google.com...=-8312524065342867591

The rich elites around the world obviously also want either a total socialist One World Government, or a communist one, and this fact can be corroborated because EVERY large international organization wants to implement a "socialist model of a One World Government."

You are right that peaceful protest has lost it's power, however the only reason it has lost it is due to lack of numbers. The UK has a rough population of 60 million for example and during the recent protests, at a maximum there were 300,000 people. During the Iraq war protests there were 1 million and nothing changed. The reason nothing changed is that the police can deal with that number of peaceful people. Change those numbers to say 10 million and the police don't have a chance because they can't attend all of the protests and that would scare politicians.

People seem to have forgotten that we, the general populous have the power, indeed this has been a trick throughout history. Consider the kings and queens of old, they had armies but if the peasants rose up they coudl crush the Monarchy overnight and yet they rarely rose to this challenge. The reason is simply because people like their lives without conflict, and the powerful know it.

While some of us write letters and protest easily, others will tolerate a great deal more before they react and that is what causes the violence. When people who never protest get angry enough to get off of their lazy backsides they are usually out for blood. If everyone would stand up easily then government could be controlled with little effort but because people tolerate so much rubbish without saying anything then the problems build up until the emotional dam breaks.

I've been writing letters for years, when i was healthy i did the protest thing but most people just don't want to bother. They seem to forget that when you give a small group of people power then they will abuse it and use their position to corrupt others who get into the system. A well meaning candidate in our modern system gets damaged the moment they run, few have the fortitude of principle to stand up to the rigors of office and the people who do often don't get very far.

Hmm, let's just shut down this "terrorist." How do you suppose they might try to do that? Hmmm, the internet. I wonder if this terrorist truly exists.

ABC likes us to believe that terrorists are sprouting up everywhere. This report is a load of manure.

This article looks like it's taking aim at freedom fighters and calling them terrorists. They want to group us in along with the terrorists it seems.

Honestly, does anyone see a terrorist anywhere when they go home? When they are at work? When they are walking down the street? These terrorists largely don't exist, in my eyes. It's like "terrorism" will be used once again to strip away a freedom or two. The media is putting out paranoia, to try and create "terrorists" that don't really exist.

Awlaki is the Fed's new go to guy. Any time a problem pops up, so does his name. I also wonder if he really exists, although this same fella allegedly dined at the Pentagon weeks after 9/11.

I do believe we are witnessing a shift in the Fed's focus. Once again, they are looking inward. Instead of bearded men in caves, they are trying to get us to fear an even more invisible boogeyman...."Be careful, a terrorist could be standing right NEXT to you. He could even be sleeping in the same BED!"

Pretty soon they'll be telling us not to leave the house.

I agree wholeheartedly.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

Straight from the Preamble of the Declaration of Independence, and don't forget it. Powerful words; the founding fathers are undoubtedly rolling over in their graves right now. It would behoove all Americans to remember these words, as many have forgotten, or have never heard them to begin with.

I have that preamble taped to my bedroom mirror.

It's getting more and more creepy to read it as the months roll along.

I'm gonna make copies of those posters you made. I think I'll paste 'em up at the grocery and on a few electrical poles in my neighborhood.

Nice Idea but there's a floor in your plan.............e.g I live in Wales UK and a large city. Our elected officials, the heads of the city decided to spend Council Tax and the proceeds from local water parcs, on a trip to the sun. They were booted out of power at one of the many local and general elections...........
but not all, not the chairmen or the managers, the instigators. They remain in their jobs waiting for the new elected face to the same old crooks, hoping they get another official that will go along with their skulduggery. My point being doesn't matter who you VOTE in, the criminality still remains......
The real solution is impossible to achieve. Military and Security Hierarchy to change completely along with the Senate, in fact all departments.. I'd go as far to say that no person can serve or work more than one term in positions of decision making power. No returning to office, no re-electing. 1 terms ya lot.
Not gonna happen..... I wonder how long some of the Managers within the Senate for instance have had their jobs
I really don't know..... but that's my 2 pennies worth.

I'm from England but i do appreiciate the american system, there are some tweaks that could be done to make it even more a protector of peoples freedoms, like banning corporations from funding political campaigns and banning corporate lobbyists, but even so a republic is far superior to the UK's parliamentary democracy.

As for the declaration of independence, it is a document that everyone who values freedom should read, not simply americans.

The system WAS great, but it has been hijacked by criminals.
Americans have been warned time and time again not to take our representative form of government for granted, but we didn't listen. It is easier to keep it once you have shed blood to get it, than it is to get it back. So, since we have lost it, we will NOT get it back without bloodshed.
History teaches us these simple truths whether we learn them or not.
