Oh, I wasn't offended by any stretch and fully understand where you are coming from, just expressing how I felt about it. You're 100% right, anyone not in compliance will be dealt with an iron fist and labled as a nut, no doubt. Stay between the lines #74728, eyes forward, keep moving. I can hear it now. They will probably engineer another "terrorist attack" and blame it on a country that rockefeller want to dominate.
Then they will put us in martial law with everyone living in FEMA trailers,eating GMO,drugged with opiates,poisoned with the formadehyde in the trailer. Then die. Recycle your remains to make more GMO cereals for the citizen cattle. Then they'll repeat the process with your kids.

The only way to "graduate" up the line to a delux poisoned trailer is to go to one of the rockefeller (state-burglary) wars. Kill the people that won't bow to King Rockefeller and his corporate princes,princesses,dukes,barons,counts, etc.

Well.........I guess it wouldn't be all bad huh. Drugged on opiates may not be such a bad thing either at that point.

It concerns me greatly, that people are fighting among themselves here.
Remember, one thing. The Nazis had collaborators at the death camps, fellow inmates, that were kept alive, in order to help the Nazis "guide" the unsuspecting victims into the gas chambers. Once all of those were eliminated, they then did the same thing to the collaborators. Remember, giving in to those that oppress will NOT stop you from being oppressed later on.
If this does become a complete and utter police state, our only hope is to stick together, and not turn into the oppressors. We're not there yet, and only vigilance will prevent that from happening. To me they're all terrorists. Cops patrol around with guns telling you not to violate their beliefs of what is right or wrong or they'll kill you or imprison you. They are using terror tactics to get you to follow their message just like the terrorists do. Honestly though we're all going to die someday why be afraid of being blown up by some random hater? I just live my life and shake off their bs they cant control you. I like that though. They don't know when we'll be back but we'll be back. Sounds like something a terrorist would say IMO

Not all cops are that way. In fact, we have some here on ATS that are very mindful of our rights. It is wrong to condemn everyone of any ilk, be they cops, Muslims, Jews, Christians, or whatever. Yes, there are those who stomp on peoples' rights, just as there are those that PROTECT those rights. If we condemn all of them, we are no better than those who DO stomp of others' rights. After all, if we had no police, the criminals would run rampant.
Let's direct our anger at those who deserve it, not every member of a group.

I wonder how quickly I would be shot if I had scheduled a bus trip that day, saw the goon squad on hand, said screw dealing with this and turned around to leave. Could you imagine how they would spin that? "We just saved 20 people from a possible terrorist attack!" Give me a frickin break.

You need to understand what was being said and that is if you were to commit a crime you have a better chance of leaving the area on a bus than you do in any other form of transportation. Here I will break it down a little so you can understand what the point was.

Bus Station = not asked for ID when purchasing ticket
Airport = Asked for ID when purchasing ticket
Car = stolen or not stolen you have a license plate that is easy to run by the law.

Now when you go to the airport you have serious security.
Go to a Bus Station and you have hardly any security, Now which seems the easier way to leave an area. There aren't many people that would be on the look out for someone who is a criminal in the bus station. Riding buses is usually considered a lower income way of travel and also you have tourists that probably have no idea of what is going on around them. Does that help explain what I posted.

Also as it was mentioned in an earlier post the law enforcement officer is trained to watch for certain things a criminal may have when confronted. Such as eye contact and certain body movement( nervous movement maybe sweating and other things) that may not be noticed by non law enforcement personnel.

Would you be a person that they would be looking for? If not they would ask you if something was wrong and run your name and if your not wanted they would let you go on your way. Unless you give them a reason to stop you.

Why does THIS not surprise me? It's a slow move towards a Police State. We all know it's coming. It'll just happen so gradually, that we won't even notice. That way it's easier for us to accept it. It's called BRAINWASHING!

You never know, everything is possible. How much of your freedom are you willing to give up in order to protect yourself against any possible threat, however minuscule? There has to be a balance but if I understand you correctly you're willing to give up everything in order to keep you "safe".

They also will have officers watching the people being checked.
If you act nervous or you body language gives away that something is wrong they likely will check you by running you for wants and warrants.
If you are a fugitive you would have problem flying as they require ID to fly so many fugitives now take buses.
if you are on parole or probation and have a bus ticket out of state they have you.
if you are on parole or probation from another state and do not have permission to be out of your state they have you

This is starting to look like a US wide program to stop criminals from moving around the country.

If you can't beat them, join them.

Any criminal would quickly join the TSA and be able to move around the country (or bypass airport security). Who checks the TSA people?

SSHHHH don't give them any ideas. Seriously your absolutely right. While everyones tunneled looking in one direction your guaranteed to be hit in the back of the head. Think about it....wouldn't it be easier to derail a train if you were not on it and how hard is it for a terrorist to get a job loading baggage on a bus. You don't have to go thru the line to do damage if that was your intention. Why would you want to blow up a Greyhound anyway, very little effect for a terrorist in the states, I'm thinking.

I thought ATS was about denying ignorance. Why is this thread full of it? These are security measures to secure passengers of busses such as Greyhound and I for one am grateful they're doing this. Why? Because I've actually taken the Greyhound. Have any of you taken it before? Does anyone even remember the man who Beheaded a kid on the bus a year ago? Have any of you even spent more than an hour in a Greyhound station? Especially the one in Harrisburg?

Some of you have no idea how life functions. I'm not surprised there are many bored and delusional human beings signing up to this web site but Goddamn. Wake up and realize this isn't any kind of "Nazism," this is to secure you the passenger. Get over it and deal with it. There is no conspiracy theory for once.

You can make your point, as valid as it might be, without slurring the ATS community.

Just because this particular implementation serves you it doesn't in any way negate the fact that this is part of a much broader implementation of control over the American people. You're compartmentalizing. It's like saying there's nothing wrong with smoking because it relaxes the smoker. One singular semblance of positivity doesn't negate the broader ramifications.

That right there should be the biggest tip off/red flag that all this is being designed/perpetrated for reasons OTHER than what it is being sold as.
