Go read about USSR's collapse.

I don't think you get it.

Do you know how a coup works?

How divide and conquer works?

Do you know how a proxy war works?

Once US collapses, it is not about US military being able to defend itself, it is about internal power struggle, between different corporations, and different ideologies, which China can easily use to completely destroy US.

The USA is nothing like the USSR or Yugoslavia. We are primarily homegenous in terms of ethnicity, culture, politics, and religion.

Like I said before, if we have an economic collapse, the US will look like the Weimar Republic: Hyperinflation, 30%+ unemployment and riots. The people will turn to extremist, specifically some form of militant Americanist theofascist, ideologies and demogogues. It will not be pretty, like Rome's transition from republic to Caesarian dictatorship or the Weimar Republic's transition to the Third Reich. Sure there will be opposition from libertarians, socialists, and vocal minorities. Like Germany, they will end up in internment labor camps or worse.

Unlike the USSR, the US also has massive infrastructure, especially industrial, that would be revitalized during a collapse. Manufacturing would become cheaper in the US than importing from Asia. Everything outsourced would come home.

Then there are resources. The 213 billion tons of oil shale in the Green River Formation will provide the fuel literally and economically for an empire unlike the world has ever seen.

If we go down we will drag the rest of the world with us and when we get back up, the world's epithets about America being like Nazis won't be exaggerations anymore.

Removed post.

Sorry, I didn't see that Saint Exupery covered the point very well.

Star on his post.

It is a nice thing to see some optimism pop up. Star on that.

On topic, is the blood going to flow, or is this so much more puffing?

Your the one claiming we managed to kill north korean citizens and it wasn't north koreas fault, nope it was ours.
.

Show me where that was said???

You are incapable of understanding the news or the subsequent debate, you probably think anyone not behaving in an oorah bellicose manner is smack talking the YOOO ESSS AYY, I can't recall a single person in the entire thread actually supporting NKorea, saying something true but negative towards the USA is not an attack, FFS the mentality of some people is crazy.

Add some on topic news:

U.S. aircraft carrier heads for Korean waters

Defense Minister Kim Tae-young was grilled by lawmakers who said the government should have taken quicker and stronger retaliatory measures against the North's provocation.

"I am sorry that the government has not carried out ruthless bombing through jet fighters during the North's second round of shelling," said Kim Jang-soo, a lawmaker of ruling Grand National Party and a former defense minister.

news.yahoo.com...

I thought this quote should be pointed out. The ROK government is not happy at all with the shelling. I don't think they will tolerate any near future provocations. The coming Thanksgiving exercise will very likely entail purposely provoking the DPRK, either to make them look weak or provide casus belli for allied intervention.

One carrier is a "Show of Force". I would keep an eye on the USS Nimitz, Ronald Reagan, John C. Stennis and Carl Vinson. If they head out we might be in for some fireworks.

Bringing in preceding theory about possible false flag op prior to 12/2010.

Considering the facts, what about this NK-SK case?
Let's sum up:

President Obama makes a trip to South Korea, G20

South Korea bids to sell warships to Brazil

Coalition finds out a possible uranium enrichment plant in North Korea

US already has a large concentration of troops in SK. US warships were already positioned near and around India. Of course, that's the joint exercise.

Things were pretty "normal" between Koreas until now, or, until the news of a new NK leader spread out. Let's just play with the idea:

We want to create a conflict.
We promise our support to SK. We also help on negotiating arms deals in preparation for a war.
We have already agreed on a joint military exercise, so our troops are nearby.
We plan a side op where our fire hits NK territory, or territorial waters.
We want NK to return fire and make it look like they started.
We now have an excuse to shoot back.

Sounds familiar?

Those are my thoughts entirely, people here are falling for the stories that the MSM has been feeding us. People have overlooked the fact that the South in actual fact provoked this whole situation by letting off some rounds in the ocean that has been long disputed over. Were is the news of what the South hit when they retaliated? Our MSM doesnt want to tell us about that.

This dropping of the dollar by Catepillar post is to show the momentum of confidence away from the dollar and how the China and Russia withdrawal from the dollar has began the fire that will consume the world as a possible ww3 scenario, becoming ever the more clear in light of this original thread of Korea.

A ww3 scenario is money for the US, China and Russia. Also remember if war breaks ou in Korea then shortly after war will break in India vs Pakistan and Iran vs Israel. LOL this period in time is VERY SCARY. This will be the measuring stick for Obama's presidency.

Well China right after the bombs decided to trade with Russia without dollar.

This is when China realized US is weak, US sent the wrong signal to China through its weak response towards this attack.

Now I realize, and I want other to realize, that it isn't just China and Russia abandoning dollar, but also American companies.

I'm gonna do more research regarding this company to see who the owners are

It might turn out to be a conspiracy..

Historically when we make moves militarily, we usually know far more and manipulate far more than people realize. Its never usually a surprise to the planners and we always capitalize from the events.

What other nations and their intelligence agencies fail to understand is that we operate on an entirely different spectrum than them. Nothing is near term or obvious. Our obvious plans are never our actual plans. Nothing is as it seems, ever.

Its been like that at least since the Mexican-American war and continued with every major war after it to the present. If Korea flares up it will be no different. Trust me, we have been planning for the ceasefire to end before the first was even signed.

The people inside North Korea are interested in sneaking any bit of food they can into their mouths, that is their biggest worry. The Chinese sealed their border with NK years ago to stop the influx of starving people. I saw a Nat. Geographic documentary a few years back showing kids scrambling in mud for crumbs that fell off of a cracker that someone was eating.

It is really sad for those people.

this is just a theory of mine
but if NK attacks that Naval Exercise
in the Yellow Sea, you can bet the bank
that Israel will take advantage of the chaos
and bomb Iran's nuke sites. Thus we have
a 2-front battle going on. Thus sides are chosen
similar to this:

Allies:
US
South Korea
Japan
Israel
Saudi Arabia
Turkey
Iraq
Afghanistan
Taiwan
Britain

Axis:
North Korea
China
Russia
Cambodia
Pakistan
Iran
Lebanon
Jordan
Syria
Egypt

then u will have a split of allegiances
among the EU which could dissolve
the EU and the Euro crashes when the
US Dollar crashes.

How would there be a split of allegiances among the EU? You only mentioned one EU country in the above lists.
The Euro is also crashing fine on its own without a war, just like the US dollar, especially with the Ireland bailout and Spain and Portugal probably next...but this is all off topic.

This will be the measuring stick for Obama's presidency.

This is the part that makes it scariest, I think.

Not saying he will do the wrong thing, just that he is woefully inexperienced with foreign policy decisions.
