One problem. The polluters (in many states) ARE the employers. My hubby works for the Power Company and if Cap and Trade HAD gone through... would have lost his job.

Tell ya what, put forth a mandate that all cars must be fossil fuel independent by 2015 and I will support that. But don't try and get the grid off the fossil fuels yet. We don't have the technology yet. We're close but not yet. Cars we have the technology. Focus on them first.
