The stiff uper lip is dyng out to a degree, we are now more happy to show our true emotions than we used to, it's not such a bad thing in my eyes.

Our society has changeed like all good healthy societies do, once we were stuck firmly into a class system, some still say that class system exists, yet ony to a few. Mainly the once "upper class" now living in run down inherited castles and manors and some people may still call themselves working or middle class, but that's hardly what the class system used to be like.

I see our society as more open minded and tolerant, not a bad thing in a world that's getting smaller by the year. We still support the underdog and bring the arrogant down a peg or two.

Yes we are always the "bad guy" in the movies but it is what it is, a movie, not real life.

No it's extremists within that religion that are the problem.

I'd be quite happy to ban all religion but it is a personal choice.

I've seen a documentary about Christianity in this Country.
Where followers who had mainly come from Africa were sending their children to self appointed "priests" , to get rid of evil demons as they were either badly behaved or they were having some bad luck in their family.

Those priests often told the parents to beat their children and abuse them as that would drive the demon out.

If we went back to those wonderful times of "Real Englishmen", my family would never have been able to settle in the UK, what with all the NINA signs . I suppose some would like that, though... No Irish, no Scots, no Welsh, no Indian, no African, just some idealised version of the Anglo-Saxon white man, where we all speak God's intended language (i.e. English) .

Look at it now...mass unemployment, cost of living soars through the roof..i,m british..born and bred...its no good blowin all that (what we did stuff)..its what we gonna do now.

Not to mention the French as well, the Normans are responsible for quite a huge part of 'British history'. They didn't call him Bill the Conqueror for nothing. He did a pretty good job too.

Truth is the French ruled England first and seeded the free world, your probably French anyway so chill and have a glass of red and some brie.
