I was under the impression America is more or less 90% of the time the root cause of global disasters with technologies such as Haarp etc. Only teasing!

Hi there,

Regarding this issue people outside the US are exactly like people in the US. There are various groups based on the level of awareness. I have been living in Portugal for 2 years now, but I was born in The Netherlands where I lived for 38 years until August 2008.

Many people are like you, they are afraid of what the rest of the world will think for supporting the USA in ALL it`s recent wars, as there is increasing evidence that lots of information has been manipulated. For example British, Dutch and German armed forces have been actively supporting the US in Kosovo, Irak and Afghanistan, they have all lost soldiers. Most other European countries, including Portugal, have offered strategic help to these wars and to the so-called war on terror, so as you can see we are all on the same boat.

Most people in Europe and in the USA simply keep supporting the official versions of the governments as they have no idea of what is going on. Most people do not have the time, the opportunity, and the necessary level of awareness to understand these issues. All they know is that terrorists look like muslims, and they attacked the US, UK and Spain.

However, some people around the world, are aware of the fact that all these wars in the middle east, and the recent economic turmoil around the world are all part of the Novvs Ordvs Seclorvm movement that will lead to the so called New World Order.

These people will certainly never blame the US people for these wars, we are victims of the same.

Remember, these events have been planned long ago, long before the US even existed. There are much older countries in the world, each one playing a part in this plan along the centuries.

For example, the modern world we live in today, has been initiated by the Portuguese and Spanish maritime discoveries of the 15th and 16th century, without these discoveries and empires you would not be American, probably you wouldn`t even exist, there would be no USA, and there would never have been a way to impose European (and American) superiority arount the world. Imagine the Chinese had discovered and colonized the American continent, instead of the British, Portuguese and Spanish !? Imagine that China or India had found their way around Africa to Europe !?

Have you ever noted that there was always a huge red cross on the ships of these 2 countries ? This was not the cross of the Roman Catholic Church, it was the cross of the Templars who have played their part in this grand plan of the ages.

Now, it`s the USA`s turn to play a part in all this, a part that will probably be one of the last chapters in the History of the World as we know it today.

The only thing we can do is to be aware of it, pray and wait it out.

"you will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come."

Please put aside your hatred for the average citizen here in the U.S. We are
as baffled, confused and amazed as to what is going on, in that this country
doesn't even compare to what it was just 10 years ago.

I see only one difference between america 10 years ago & america now, which is, that more of the corruption is in public view than before; The corruption has always been there. Cheyney for e.g. He was conspiring against you in the 70's and you brought him back into power to do it all over again....

Actions have always spoken larger than words, and people who are honest about their attributes, are usually the least vocal about themselves.
Your country AND its people tout cr*p about being the heroes of the world while simultaniously destroying the world & rebuilding it in your image...

I get the feeling the rest of the world is MORE than happy to watch that great bain on the world which is 'battleship america'....take its natural course.

Its your fckn country remember?
if you don't do something to fix it,
nothing will happen.

But don't get me wrong.

Obviously to TPTB there are no 'real' nations.
Only power.
They can stay in power as long as there are still nations to corrupt, doesn't matter if its america, iran, china, germany, australia....

My homeland is f*cked also because we are naive. very fckn naive. we handed our guns away because we believed that a mentally disabled man who couldn't use his body properly was able to execute a number of civilians 1 shot per person, mostly headshots, at a killrate hard to achieve even by the best specialists military marksmen in the world. We turned a blind eye to 'them' killing a PM because he was sniffing around YOUR secret military base in OUR country....

I feel like my country still has a chance....but its fading fast....there is MSM acknowledgement of the dumbing down, a noticeble 'waking up', but the agendas are still being played out, we are still being bombarded with the 'mould' TPTB have assigned for my people, we still celebrate our brainwashing, we still own stupidity almost as efficiently as your country. And this is where I say you can't save everybody. A person is his/her thoughts/beliefs, and some people won't change, even facing death.

My country is facing a choice between a george bush - hilary clinton type set-up, except our hilary (julia) has some good ideas, is still obviously on a leash held by the same hand that holds our dubya (tony), but has more room to move because shes smart enough not to say things like "abortion is the easy answer, of course people will choose the most convienient option blah blah" or other remarkably backward & offensive things like Tony.

Theres another problem tho, Julia is saying things like 'moving forwards', its her version of obama's 'yes we can' (except it doesn't sound like 'thank you satan' played backwards...) and as a MSM journalist pointed out (bless his soul) this elections campaigners have adopted the americanized style from the obama election, and bludgening us all with meaningless catch phrases like we're a bunch of idiots that can't understand anything else...a personal unscripted statement...which is awesome & indicates that those "in the know" are fighting back. So in a nutshell, Julia has mentioned those that are telling her what to do & say etc AND those that are telling Tony what to do, basically exposing her own puppetness, but at the same time saying, choose me anyway as at least I'm a puppet that is relevant to todays times & can speak properly!

Strange situation to be in. Think I'll vote greens.

A countries founding principles do not decide its peoples qualities and to think so is ignorant. People are what make a country what it is, and people are defined by their CURRENT society & environment, that which they mimic in order to learn. America's civilians could be swapped with Indias & there would still be those that lived according to the principles America was founded on, and those that wouldn't.

There is nothing intrinsically special inherited by you because you came into this world on a different patch of land to your neighbour.

Our president is the dumbest smart guy I've ever seen.

take a good hard look in the mirror.

He's like my wife, he just spends spends spends without a thought as to where the money comes from.

nice to know you love & respect your wife enough not to publically ridicule her....oh wait, scratch that.

Public servant, he's blown more on vacations this summer than my father was worth when he died, and he wasn't poor. lol.

I see you focused on that vacation story they wanted you distraced with....

I firmly believe that if America doesn't defend freedom in this world nobody will.

...so self rightous..

This world has needed America for more than 200 years. They've needed our economy, they need our financial aid, they need our military to protect them against the powers that have tried to establish widespread dominance.

read that thread about doublethink, you virtually breath the stuff.

"We had to destroy the village in order to save it."

They need us to protect their ability to be free.

I do not need you to make my desicions for me.

The world frowns upon our actions with Iraq and the Taliban.

no thats wrong. We've been frowning AT LEAST since the Vietnam war.

I haven't seen a successful teror attack from the crippled Al Quaeda or the barely functional Taliban since we went after them.

are you referring to 9/11? if you are then you are delusional. It was a false flag. are you the only american left who doesn't realise that yet?

We have the premier military in the world, we should have used it at full capacity.

gee and I wonder where all your debt came from too...you've always had the best military, you just never stop improving it out of fear that someone will trump you. most of Americas international moves are fear or power driven.

We're proud people

yeah no sh*t, ya'think!!

When your countries are threatened who do you call? USA.

thats not USUALLY how it works tho, USUALLY America only LOANS money at high interest to the countries that America was involved in destroying in the first place. To claim that as noble is ludicrous. And I personally call the ghost busters.

Many of us have served or still serve in our military because we feel its an honor to serve our country that affords us more freedoms than anywhere else in the world.

There is no way you can proove that America affords more freedoms because asides from not actually meaning anything, it is no longer true either. Australia & sweden both have better standards of living, and aren't involved in wars that we initiated.

Our current trade deficit is almost 280 billion dollars for jan-july 2010. We give too much. We give other countries opportunities to capitalize on our consumers too much. We are too nice. We're too concerned with the worlds opinion of us.

are these throw away statements meant to actually relate to each other or mean something?
you sound like the ranting post man from psychonauts....

"we must deliver the post for liberty,
we are the post men of justice,
we must find the milk man of love,
we must deliver the milk to the milk man...."

And I'll carry my happy arse to Australia.

And I'll be there to kick your ass straight back out again!

But before you run around bashing us as a whole try appreciating all the good we've done.

you are delusional. What is good for "America" is often bad for everyone else as proven time & time again throughout history.

[EDIT: I want to add that I know there are good Americans whose efforts to make change for the better are stifled, that corruption can stomp things out and that real life is never as black & white as it seems. I also want to make clear that I don't propose to have the answers or that there is anything special about me because I hold a particular point of view. It is just one perspective out of many. I would love to see what would happen if the smart, brave, honest & good civilians in America got together, realised their full potential, and used their power to solve the problems they collectively faced. I believe that is a legitimate possibility.]

It may be a simplistic argument perhaps, but it is like saying that since a (hypothetical) robber used his right hand to do the wrong deed, his left hand and the rest of his body are innocent of the crime. Just maybe, one could add the part of the brain that moved his hand to do the wrong deed.

The fact is, all Americans have unquestionably benefited from the misdeeds and misadventures of their chosen leaders. (If at all it is true that only their leaders are guilty of wrongdoing.) They have benefited by having the highest quality-of-life and better future prospects than the rest of the world.

Only because you let them..... Christ oh mighty.... if a bunch of doped to hilt, flower peddling hippies can make a difference in the 60s, why can't you lot?..... talk about the epitome of embarrassment.
And yes, we have our problems here too, the same things are happening here in OZ, but, we don't sit there complaining endlessly on the Internet, we get off our a$$es and do something, and no, not a Teaparty, more like a XXXX riot! (or VB if you prefer)

Our president is the dumbest smart guy I've ever seen.

You don't get to be president for being either dumb or smart. You get to be president because there are people that think you are the right man to deliver a message and succeed.

Yes we can !

Scratch that message stuff... Obama succeeded without a message all together.

I firmly believe that if America doesn't defend freedom in this world nobody will. The rest of the world leaders seem to bend to the will of the UN. I don't want our country governed by a global consortium as most countries don't share our ideals. This world has needed America for more than 200 years. They've needed our economy, they need our financial aid, they need our military to protect them against the powers that have tried to establish widespread dominance. They need us to protect their ability to be free.

You do know the US played a big part in the creation of the UN don't you.

You don't want to live under the will of the UN, which actually is for a big part the will of the US. But you think it's ok to force the US will onto others ?

Your country thanks its economy and wealth because it has provided massive loans and sold tons of stuff to the rest of the world to rebuild after WW2.

A war which has been made possible with US dollars.

Where do get the idea from the world needed your help ?

Vietnam ? Why ? Because you hate communists. Were the death were it ? Was it worth it to destroy the country and its economy so bad, they still are recovering from what you have devastated.

Iraq and Iran was also the scen of the US influencing and meddling in their businesses.
Afghanistan also.

Iran : You found in the Shah a pro US voice and even reestablished him after he was released from power.
Without the US... Things would have been different today.

Iraq: You helped Saddam to power, nuf said.

Afghanistan : You provided the means for the Taliban to seize power after the Russians left. Boy that must have come as a slap in the face when the Taliban made the farming of poppy field illegal. Strangely heroin has been flooding the market ever since you got there.

Then there are the Balkans. You bombed the Serves to make them stop their war. Stop their genocide. Strangely enough, Why would they want to exterminate any other population group, outside of their country. and how is it possible that Serbia still is home to the most multi cultural society in the area ?

You would assume they would start at home.

The US got big by taking advantage of others that were left without other options.

It is your bloody patriotism that is responsible for all those nitwits that will , without questioning ) go and kill innocent people. Bringing peace with war
liberate people who didn't have to be liberated at all if it was not for the US. Protecting freedom at the other side of the world
I would suggest expansion by opening up their economy successfully transfer it in American hands. Your country are nothing more then mere thieves and murderers.

Please understand that I'm talking about the US government. Of cours US citizens played their parts. As did my fellow countrymen. My government has also been taking part in the taking and grabbing philosophy.

The leaders are a reflection of the citizens through their actions or inaction. By one or the other, you are therefore, complicit in all the wrongdoing. There is one guy who wanted to sort things out, but some people wouldn't vote for him because he has a whiny voice? Well then, it's only normal that the desecration of anything 'democracy', or 'freedom' or 'economy' is ongoing.

The notion that the country is superior in anyway blinds you to reality, which means it will take you a lot of time to see who you are in reality. Only then will you be able to fix things. Otherwise you're basking the false glow of a lie.

Did you see how fast and widespread was the decrying of P.I.I.G.S.? Do you think the country is any better? What do you think is the real state of the US's economy or extent of debt? Supposedly intelligent people can't think rationally for toffee and wouldn't undertand some things even when provided with proof. This is symptomatic of the real, sad state of affairs because you're dumbed down early from school and that continues in your daily life, often with your own blessing.

The US is going to Third World status because the very people you allowed to control everything by your actions or inaction want this and are betting on China and other countries for the future.

Just as many of you have had and still have narrow conceptions about other countries and people and their culture, it is your turn to be on the receiving end of such a thing for as long as your leaders reflect you like currently.

No, just another re-purposed message from the recycle bin of hope.

Si se puede! Si se puede! - Am I the only one who realized that "Yes we can" is a direct English translation of Cesar Chavez and the Farm Workers' message of unity?

Si se puede

Oh wait, they're organized labor, and Mexican to boot. When they don't get their better conditions, at least we can take their slogan and hollow it out and not achieve any sort of ideals with it but the empty rhetoric involved.

Hey, America's good at that!

Came across this interesting article and the place on which it was served from made it for a definite reading.

Nice article, and then I went to the comments..
And I looked at the states from which each comment came.

As a non-American I am really surprised to see that the lines are that clear?

Whilst I appreciate your sentiments I think if you ask around you'll find that the rest of the world do not hate America they just find your national ignorance offensive. PLEASE don't hate me for this, just take an unmarked map and ask 100 Americans to identify Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Israel, and just for the fun of it, as America is supposedly a majority christian religious country, find Jerusalem on said map. When they come up woefully shy, you will have your answer as to how the rest of the world feel.

Admittedly it would be nice to see your citizens capable of finding us on a map (so maybe that part is a schooling issue)

The problem is that you and most are not recognizing the dominant "school" in the USA. The formal education system, may be weak in and of itself, but what makes it worse is that it is not the front line of "education".

The main source of information (leadership) about what is important to know is: the music industry, talk shows, celebrity shows, big league sports, the controlled newspapers and tv.; etc, etc. Those are what gets the attention.

Ask any American about some big league sports score, some celebrity gossip; and they know the answer because that is what is important to them. Ask anything meaningful about the larger world and the "average" American is clueless. This shows you what is the dominant force in influencing the American mind.

Unfortunately you are correct, & not just in reference to the US. I am growing more & more frustrated every day watching the 'news'. Ive started watching re-runs of Green Acres instead.

I dont care who wears what, who's dating who, I want some real news (I know, it wont happen).

I mention things I read on here to people who live in 'the dream state' & they think Im some sort of loonatic, & I filter a lot. "Thats not what the 6pm news says". I must be the one who's insane. No, Ive never been more educated in my life, if only we could have an ATS News TV channel, broadcast in any & all nations.

Something tells me that SO has something like a mainstream news show cooking right now. I wouldn't be at all surprised. He never seems to tire of trying something bigger and better.

The US does have a better source of news in the form of its Public Broadcasting network; unfortunately they tend to be so Washington centric that it can get really boring too. I am about as interested (not) in the nonsense senators get into as I am in the Hollywood stuff. Both are just a show with little substance.

I think alot of people have hatred against America because it engineerd to be this way. I am from Europe and when i think of things that are happening i dont blame a race.
