U.S military exploding H-Bombs in space: VIDEO

There have been points in my life where Ive seen something similar to this in the sky.
Altho, I generally discount it to my imagination, due to the fact that its supposed to be common knowledge that the sky dont turn colors.

Why don't they test nuclear weapons close to the Lunar orbit so that no radioactive materials can fall on the earth.

And also, why don't they make it an international law to test all the nuclear weapons in the space far away from the earth. That sounds like a good idea.

If you don't have the space rocket tecnology, too bad, you can not test it on earth.

Another idea is that they can destroy any incoming comet that may hit the earth using this hydrogen bomb before they fall on the earth. I think this is a good application for such technology. Use 100s of megaton size hydrogen bomb to break apart the comet of couple of mile diameter size.

It will save humanity. Think about those little bits of debris Nibiru may bring along.

Because weapons of mass destruction are banned from space, that surely includes testing them, by anyone.

Also, not too many people think shooting a nuclear missile at an asteroid would actually have any real affects.

Actually, the headline IS claiming that this is currently happening. He used the word "exploding" in the headline suggesting that this is a current event.

If he wanted to be accurate, OP should have used the term "previously exploded" denoting the past.

It would be like me saying "Charlie and Di getting married" in a headline, which suggests that it's happening right now or shortly in the future.

In the late 1950's, it was discovered that naturally-occuring belts exist at high altitudes above the earth's surface, and it is now established that these belts result from charged electrons and ions becoming trapped along the magnetic lines of force (field lines) of the earth's essentially dipole magnetic field. As the gyrating particle moves along a field line in a uniform field, it will follow a helical path about its guiding center, hence linear motion, and will remain on the field line. Electrons and ions both follow helical paths around a field line but rotate in opposite directions. The frequencies at which the electrons and ions rotate about the field line are called gyromagnetic frequencies or cyclotron frequencies because they are identical with the expression for the angular frequencies of gyration of particles in a cyclotron. The cyclotron frequency of ions in a given magnetic field is less than that of electrons, in inverse proportion to their masses.

Long story short, detonating a nuke creates a high energy radio (and magnetic) pulse. A high energy pulse in the atmosphere echos between magnetic lines, and the energy arcs back to earth like a high arcing magnetic line in a different location on earth causing a radio blackout and other effects. This energy can be aimed at any point on the earth from the poles (where magnetic lines converge). By chance there's enormous reserves of natural gas in Alaska, which large generators use to power a radio transmitter array to create energy pulses in the high atmosphere. And so, HAARP is born.

I remember hearing that due to those bombs being sent into space, the debris that has fallen since then to Earth, is what has been causing illness in humans, such as cancers, leukemia, and others, and that this is why they started implementing such things as the sudden downfall in cigarettes, claiming that its was causing cancer, when in fact most companies didn't have such controversy until the Government needed someone to blame.

Also, that this and programs such as S.S.I, and Medicare, we programs by the government, so that people would not look into the truth of their diseases, its kind of like a out of court settlement with the people, that's why so many people wonder why the gov pays you for being sick. It seems to be the only FREE program, that money will not be given until their is a certain diagnosis.

Well I didn't say this was going to be answer, but it sure is a theory.

BTW I am not blaming all illness on the above, just putting in something to think about.

No, that is totally incorrect. When something is radioactive it stays radioactive unless it is bombarded with neutrons, for example. That's why we can't get rid of nuclear waste just by heating it up - instead we have to wait thousands of years (or we could put the waste in a breeder reactor which burns the waste into harmless elements while making huge amounts of electricity).

Atmospheric testing was to blame for scattering radioactivity around the planet which is one of the reasons that it was banned a few decades ago. That being said the overall contribution that nuclear weapon testing has contributed to the average persons yearly dose of radiation is about 15 microsieverts or less than 1% of the average persons yearly dose. By comparison, natural radioactivity in your food and drink can contribute 300 microsieverts per year, a brick or concrete home can contribute 200 microsieverts per year, and a poorly ventilated home can contribute 1000 microsieverts per year. What I'm saying is that the overall health effects of nuclear weapons testing are small compared to everything else. At best Nuclear weapons testing is only an extremely small contributing factor to your yearly radiation dose. If you want to blame cancer, and leakemia on any one thing then it is certainly not nuclear weapon testing if it's even harmful at all.

Chernobyl is not a wasteland. The area around it is more like a wildlife preserve although I doubt it would be a good idea to live there oneself. The amount of radioactivity on Christmas island is probably smaller than the area around Chernobyl, like anything too much radioactivity can be a bad thing. How harmful it is depends on how much. Remember you are being irradiated right now, but it's harmless simply because the amount is very small.

1.Hydrogen bombs are initiated by a fission first stage reaction which creates the temperatures and pressures required for a fusion reaction. That being said Hydrogen bombs are much more efficient than straight fission bombs.

2. You might want to check the definition of Atomic. A fusion reaction is still atomic thus a Hydrogen bomb is an A-bomb.

3. Please do more research next time and by research I mean use google.

Some of the responses on this thread are more unbelievable than the idea that there is no nefarious conspiracy to enslave most of humanity.

It never ceases to amaze me that there are so many places in the world with Internet access and yet no system of education. How do these people even manage the complex procedure of switching on a PC, let alone logging on to ATS.

If one has had no education and has a low IQ, it is incredibly important that at the very least they learn to use Google. There are also pictures and

There are some key people of interest and events regarding the U.S. Space Preservation Act. The largest proponent of it was Dr. Werner von Braun who many may know as a former Nazi scientist acquired by the U.S. during Operation Paperclip (Yep, it's the real deal). He is pretty much responsible for advancing NASA decades in rocket science and also for a majority of our achievement in space exploration. This is a guy who really knew the inner workings of NASA and the U.S. Government's official standing "military industrial complex". Von Braun warned against using military industrial power in space until 1972 (iirc) when he left NASA for a job with Fairchild Ind. in Maryland.

When Dr. Von Braun died in 1977, his protege at Fairchild - Carol Rosin (President of the Institute for Cooperation in Space and of the Space Preservation Trust Foundation) took the helm on this project, and in 2003, the U. S. Space Preservation Act was submitted before congress by Representative Dennis Kucinich as House Bill 3657 (108th Congress). Its statement of purpose: "To preserve the cooperative, peaceful uses of space for the benefit of all humankind by prohibiting the basing of weapons in space and (by prohibiting) the use of weapons to destroy or damage objects in space that are in orbit, and for other purposes."

I came across this information while researching Von Braun. A lot of this may be common knowledge to many of you, but I'd like to leave you with this little bit of info that I found crazily interesting: It's from the testimony of Carol Rosin when interviewed by Stephen Greer in December of 2000, regarding the U.S. Military Industrial Complex and "enemies lists". Please keep in mind that Von Braun apparently made these statements to Ms. Rosin in the mid 70's. Whether that is hearsay or not is not for me to decide:

What was most interesting to me was a repetitive sentence that he said to me over and over again during the approximately four years that I had the opportunity to work with him. He said the strategy that was being used to educate the public and decision makers was to use scare tactics… That was how we identify an enemy.

The strategy that Wernher Von Braun taught me was that first the Russians are going to be considered to be the enemy. In fact, in 1974, they were the enemy, the identified enemy. We were told that they had "killer satellites". We were told that they were coming to get us and control us – that they were "Commies."

Then terrorists would be identified, and that was soon to follow. We heard a lot about terrorism. Then we were going to identify third-world country "crazies." We now call them Nations of Concern. But he said that would be the third enemy against whom we would build space-based weapons.

The next enemy was asteroids. Now, at this point he kind of chuckled the first time he said it. Asteroids- against asteroids we are going to build space-based weapons.

And the funniest one of all was what he called aliens, extraterrestrials. That would be the final scare. And over and over and over during the four years that I knew him and was giving speeches for him, he would bring up that last card. "And remember Carol, the last card is the alien card. We are going to have to build space-based weapons against aliens and all of it is a lie."
