Flapping wings?
That's good stuff. And tell me, what editing software did you use to slow down the image so that you could see these invisible wings flapping? Unless its a hummingbird, the wing flapping should be visible to almost everyone who has eyesight who has visited this thread. And since you're the only one who concocted this hair brained theory, it would seem that either your eyesight is superhuman, or, it desperately needs to be checked for functionality. And, if this object is a hummingbird, then its moving about 1000 times faster than any hummingbird ever recorded on the planet.

I'm sorry Greeneyedleo, but that may be the most lame attempt for anything that I have heard as far as debunking ever. I have to give you credit though, at least when you reach, you're actually reaching for the stars.

What I find to be especially funny about your theory is that it would actually make more sense for it to be an alien craft than a bird that can flap its wings a trillion times per second. As a matter of fact, that would be one of the most rare finds on planet earth which would utterly defy the laws of physics as we know it

Either way, good day to you. That was my comic relief for the evening.

It could be far away moving extremely fast, or close to the camera moving at bird speeds.

... but surely if it was close to the camera we would be able to see it is obviously a bird?

in all seriousness, this is the worst UFO video I have ever seen. I can't help but to feel like the time I spent watching this video, researching tornado behavior and objects caught within them, and constant rewinding and zooming were huge wastes of my time.

if we're seriously going to get excited for something comparable to a moth

Montana UFO incident 1950

are these birds ?

the military Air force and Navy in 1950 examined and reviewed

said it was Not a BIRD PLANE nor Balloon this film (non digital) no CGI date is 1950

one even said that it may be Jet fighter glare until they took a second look

so clearly they are not birds

they look like the the Ufo in the thunderstorm video

The Montana Ufo

This video was Originally not for Public view for Military & Government Officials Only mostly for the Robertson Panel

Glad to be of some entertainment for you.

I still stand by my statement. I see a bird. Laugh, criticize all you want. I have yet to see any better explanation here other than people blindly believing some dude who has already proven to be less than truthful.

I find it truly unbelievable that people just flat out believe someone's claim without doing anything to verify such a claim. He said it, so it must be true. But that darn greeneyedleo says she sees birds flapping and *GASP* she is so off in left field so I will laugh at her.

according to person filming: unproven "professional" says 30 foot thing flying at 9k-16k miles per hour at 500 feet off the ground unseen/unheard by those on the ground: plausible and absolutely believed by most

greeneyedleo: seeing birds: ridiculous and laughable and trolls feel the need to lower themselves to schoolyard name calling. priceless.

Good lord.

The worst one? A bird? Travalling with 9000 to 16000 miles/hour? Yeah.

I could understand debunking this video like: its cgi, he puts after filming the storm some effects on the tape. But... A BIRD?

Really, some arguments are just *facepalm*
Like I would say: Everyone with a tatoo has been in jail.

I can´t say, if this is ET or not, but it´s not a bird.

I would also very much like to know this. I have watched the video in the OP twice now (with sound), and all I hear is a LOT of claims without ANY proof or documentation, and all I see is something flying/blowing past the camera.

There is NO way of telling how fast that object it travelling without knowing the size of the object or the excact distance between the object and the camera. Neither of these factors are known, despite what is being said in the video. So making claims about the object's speed is simply rubbish.

I agree with Greeneyedleo that this is probably a bird. It may even be an insect. In the video it is said that the object disappears behind the clouds for a moment, I honestly don't see that at all. To me it seems like the object (bird/insect) is flying by quite close to the camera, certainly not somewhere in the distance and through the clouds.

And yes, birds/insects are known to be able to change direction in mid flight too, just like the "UFO" does before it disappears out of view...

Could you point me in the direction of the report from Marshall Space Flight Centre that confirms the size of the object and also confirms the 9-16000 mph speed?

Please tell me that you haven't just accepted what was said during the video?

If MSFC has conducted tests on this video and confirmed the approx dimensions and speed of this object are as stated, then this would be Earth shattering news, and would be readily available.

All I see is a small white light of indeterminable speed and size moving across a storm cloud.......I have no idea what it is.

any one see the black dot that is moving away from the eye of the storm? it is at 2:20 - 3:00

A bird? Can't buy it. Personally, I don't see the infamous "flapping wings". Also, for a bird to move at such a speed it would have to be so close to the camera to give us that perception. An insect on or near the lens? Yeah, that's possible.

When I watch the video step by step using the pause button, it seems as if there's an almost-imperceptible localized trail left in its wake. Maybe that's just me seeing things, or it could be a trick of the camera.

Please explain how you know that the object is far away?

I think it would be unusual behavior for a bird to fly so close to a tornado. Maybe it was drunk?

I am now listening to sound.

Where is this report? Can someone provide it please?

So far, its just his claims, right? He hasnt provided any evidence of this?So we only his word to go on, right?

"We did not see this while filming" Yet it was 30 feet long at 500-700 feet and he didnt see it? 9000 mph and didnt hear or feel it?
Yeah right.

I still see birds flapping. Plain as day when you slow it down.

[edit on July 2nd 2010 by greeneyedleo]

I'm not sure what the object is, but here's my issue with your rant:
You keep talking but you fail to take a screenshot of your supposed "pause". Show us a picture of the wings. If you say you see the wings but can't provide a screenshot to back up what your eyes are seeing, your claim is worthless. You don't need editing software to take a freaking screenshot. Pause your video, hit the Print Screen button, open Paint, paste the image, save and upload. Simple.

So you have 2 peopleintently looking directly at what the camera is pointing at pointing out a cloud feature and don't see or comment on something bright white and whizzing by?
If it wasn't something isolated to the camera such as a reflection they would have certainly seen it and commented on it.

Get that grip and hold on to it tightly.

Never seen this video before. Thanks to the OP that made it possible for us ATS'ers speculate on what it could possibly be.

I sure wish there was more documentation on how they calculated speed, etc.

One way or another...Bird(unless I'm flippin' blind)? No. UFO? Yes.

^^^Yes. What he said.

I'm not sure what or where you're seeing "flapping of wings".......

Please provide an image or something to back your claim!

Thank you.
