You avatar leaves alot of room for interpretation, ...

First we must analyze what we see here, in this painting.


It appears to be a group of muscle clad men en route on foot somewhere, they are also wearing some kind of shiny space helmet. Are they intergalactic explorer's ??

One would wonder why they are wearing helmets and not space suits ??? well perhaps they are being shielded from the elements by their grizzled muscles. engorged and sweaty from the mighty journey.

I see that the first one, besides having massive pecs, .... is also wearing a colorful red ribbon around his neck. Most likely a memento from his homebound love who is now lightyears away from him.

... and why have they traveled 14 lightyears away from their home to embark on this savage expedition ??

To discover new forms of life and alternative medicines ??? No.

To discover new and exotic oils they can slather on their pec's to maximize the sheen and display them proudly.

I suppose some of the most glorious of things have been done in vain.

anyway, ... was that painted in a mental institution ???

I think its great to make them feel like real artists.

I haven't a clue. Just snagged it off of images.google about 20 months ago.

Hey, many great geniuses were in mental institutions when creating their masterpieces.

Just because they're mental doesn't mean they're not great artists!

The two aren't mutually exclusive, which I think you would actually agree with ... it was just worded a little off.

Those sharp ears, ... those soft brown eyes, .... that pumpkin pie haircut, .... that body flattering starfleet suit, and of course, .... that Vulcan "death grip" . I can see why you are attracted to Spock in such a way.

Yet I believe this goes far beyond attraction, and becomes Identification. Your mood says it all ........ "Logical".

While I may see myself as a Captain T. Kirk, and others as McCoy, or even Zulu. You identify most with Mr. Spock.

It could be a reflection of the inner struggle between factions of yourself as you matured through life, such as Spock struggled.

Or it could be your emphasis on applying logic to your posts, and inevitably your life. In fact sometimes your so logical you make me angry, ...... angry with logic !!!!!

Yet even sometimes this fails you .....

It's not fair because I already know the story, ..... you said it was a nickname you picked up when you used to hang out at Muscle Beach in the 70's.

Apparently when you took off your shirt they thought you resembled Papa Smurf because of your chiseled physique and long beard.
