I didn't. I have a problem with Lady Gaga too, mostly because her music sucks and her schtick is a tired one. I simply leave it at that and don't need to invoke "the children" or "the flag" like some milquetoast nerd feigning offense.

I believe I'm "light" already. Pardon me for invoking a due response to those offended by pop music but I've dealt with it all my life. People offended at Elvis' dancing, Madonna's videos, Lady Gaga's clothes, whatever. Someone needs to be there to alert them to their idiocy.

She's trying to get your attention and it looks like it's working, she don't care what you think about her, ask long as you think about her.

If you hate/dislike her so much don't listen to her music, don't watch her videos and don't look at her pics, she has no affect on your life, it's that simple.

And I here people talking about her lyrics being bad blah blah blah, that's your opinion, some people like country, some people like pop, some people like techno and some people like Lady Gaga, she's her on genere with her own sound of music imo, if you dislike it do as you would do with any other music artist you dislike.

The reason why people LOVE her is because she's different, she sings like no other, dances like no other, and the way she dresses is so out there and attention grabbing. I don't listen to alot of her hits, I like her other not so well known songs, like speechless, dance in the dark, etc. And a lot of Lady Gaga's music looks erm, blah on paper, but she can sing about manure and make it sound good IMO.

Nothing makes my blood boil more than topics about programming & mind control. So many people have been desensitized to the TV. The programming seen on TV is an example of a weapon of mass destruction as well as Lady Gaga,

To the Op who says the MTV Movie Awards logo resembles a bucket of popcorn. Yes, but you obviously didn't look at the image I provided from the red carpet camera view.
I'll have to find a pic of the 2010 Movie Awards red carpet. The '2010' is over the "popcorn bucket" head so it looks like two empty eyes & a nose.

I would assume, and maybe this is planned by the illuminati (I don't subscribe to that one), but the MTV movie awards are buckets of popcorn. The exact same shape as the "robot bondage brain exposure." Sometimes, a bucket of popcorn is just a bucket of popcorn.

Saying she's a puppet of the illuminati might just be part of her own plan to get more exposure as an artist.

That seems obvious.

Unless, of course, her use of the same symbolism means something to her as an artist. If I were to share my own art (not a musician), people would probably say that I am illuminati, which is simply not the case.

I find it interesting that people make the first point in their arguements that they don't like her as an artist, which is what she is, your opinion does not change that. Then, the even more bold ones say that they don't like her as a person, and that she's turning children into whores (seriously?).

It all boils down to each of our personal opinions of what should be tolerated and what shouldn't.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with Lady Gaga, while others find her completely distasteful.

I'll stop posting in this thread now, as I've decided that it will not end with any sort of conclusion, but only arguments based on each persons on ideals, and not simple facts.

I hate Gaga because she is a blatant whore with no originality what so ever. All her songs seem to take a lot from older songs and younger people don't seem to notice because most were "before their time". I always see comments on how she "does what other artists won't" but all it seems is that they mean she dances practically naked and that makes me believe that if porno stars were to sing and dance, we should elevate them to "her level".

Seems people are just losing taste in music now a days and that the only reason she is so popular is because "sex sells". It's really pathetic. Although I know it's not what she is, my name for her is the Whore of Babylon.

Might want to re-read what you wrote, as you DID lump a bunch of people into the aforementioned "nerd" category.

As for the drug use thing, I was just illustrating how ignorant it is to make assumptions about people that you know virtually nothing about...simple as that, and no harm intended.

As for people making a big stink everytime something newer and edgier comes onto the pop scene....I completely agree. People always freak anytime something new and different pops onto the scene, and it's pretty much always a bunch of small-minded dolts doing all of the yelling.
I think Lady Gaga sends some pretty crappy messages, but ultimately it is up to the parents to choose what their kid(s) are exposed to. More and more these days the parents just aren't held accountable....so bass ackwards.

Whether or not people share the same feelings about Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta..

I think we could conclude that her music and performances are somewhat provocative and inappropriate, and her public appearances are rather tacky.

Whether she is a Monarch Victim, Illuminati Pawn, or shes just sold her Soul for a bunch of paper.

I think the people especially of this forum where we debate and argue, day after day can agree... There needs to be change in our society and how we view our way of living.. and no not a NWO, or a Police State, I'm not pushing for this at all.

But this county was built and defined with a certain morale, I don't know what or who were pushing and fighting for anymore.

Not a single S/F, and i wouldn't have had it any other way.

Unless you are excluding certain people from your "We," then no "we" can not conclude that.

I see nothing wrong in her actions, as an adult doing what she pleases. It might not be in your opinion correct or appropriate, but that is simply all it is - opinion.

I see the conspiracy is that first she needs to get our attention and this thread is growing faster than any of the oil spill threads so obviously you are all really making a movement against her by relegating her to such dark places as the front page and top of people's subconscious. I'm well aware that she was a songwriter, and have heard this whole argument before. However, if you really think that producers weren't a large part of the process than you have no idea how pop music works.
